In November of 2016, I made a big deal about how the Zionists were funding Charediem to the tune of 303 Million Shekels, it is now, just 8 years later, more than double!

Putting aside all biases against Zionists, against chilonim, I'm asking between us...

That the Zionist Israeli Chilonim, (since they are the majority) are the biggest supporters of Torah now and ever?  

Do you blame any chilonie whose children, whose husbands, died so that Chareidiem can learn, .......for saying "this is insane?" 

I don't get this, I come from a Charedie background, all I knew until I got married and had children were Charedim. I had little contact with non-frum Jews, even when I went to Brooklyn College, we frummies, hung out together and had little contact with goyim and not-frum Jews. I worked for frum Jews.  My first language was Yiddish and I didn't speak English until I was bar-mitzvah! 

I only knew survivors and even married a girl whose parents were survivors, but never did I hear such utter hate against other Jews, specifically, Zionists! I'm talking even from Satmar Chassidim, the survivors! They were all quietly proud of the State of Israel, they were all breathing a sigh of relief that we finally had a country after 2,000 years, and they all believed that this was all orchestrated by HKB"H! There was no doubt! 

Everything changed in 1967, when a Gadol who was ironically saved by a Zionist downplayed the six-day war success of the IDF and even said that the victory of the Zionists was from the Samach Mem! Just 23 years before, 6 million Jews were brutally murdered, but in 1967 Hashem decided to send that  Samach Mem" to help the IDF fight 4 Arab Nations and save the Jews?

I spoke about this a lot! Most survivors did not take him seriously at all, as most of them lost wives and children and all lost their parents! But what he did accomplish was that slowly  slowly like a leak ..drop by drop, he embedded a tremendous hatred in Klall Yisrael against the Land of Eretz Yisrael! 

Yes, you read that correctly, against the Land of Israel, and slowly the young, the children of these survivors who really had no idea what their parents went through, started slowly accepting this utter nonsense! 

In fact Rav Teicthtal speaks about this hate in reference vis-à-vis the opposition of Rabbanim to building the State:

"Not only did they oppose this undertaking, but they caused the simple, frum Jews to despise the rebuilding of the land so much that if one of them began to speak or get enthused about it, they considered him repulsive and abominable. They all rebuke him, saying, "You are a Zionist, an abhorrence, and an abomination." Thus, they have truly caused the desirable Land to be despised and detested. The simple man who does not know enough Torah to decide on his own whether this is true or not, chastises those who rebuild the Land. Rav Teichtal adds and talks about those rabbanim who really did believe that frum Jews must partner with Zionists to develop the Land :

"These positive thoughts remain solely in their hearts. They would not dare express their thoughts in words, for they fear that they will be rebuked and considered repulsive, abominable Zionists."

Rabbi Teichtal hy"d wrote this in 1943 ...has anything changed? Nothing!!! 

On March 24 I posted an article about how the Aguda signed the Israeli Declaration of Independence!

 Someone commented and questioned the motive of the words in the Declaration, "Placing our trust in the "Rock of Israel" and said that the Zionists left it up to the reader to decide who "The Rock" was!

In retrospect, I should have just deleted his remarks, because the bottom line is....."Who cares?" Who cares what the author meant? No one is saying that the Zionists were Tzadiikim, but the bottom line is that they built a beautiful country where there is more Torah learned than anywhere in the entire world and where there isn't a visitor who is not amazed and enthralled by the sheer beauty of the Land! People coming for the first time, no matter their religious affiliation, fall in love immediately!

Last week there was an asifa in Lakewood that made headlines! 

The Son and sons-in-laws of the late R' Shnuer Kotler z"l, the ones running Lakewood, an institution solely supported by schnorrerei, issued a Fatwa that everyone should close their gemarras and listen to speaker after speaker denounce the State that is the biggest supporter of Torah in the entire world! 

They were supposedly talking about the vote. meaning not to vote, but it was all about spewing hate with the vilest descriptions of people who are actually living in Israel! Please note, that Yaakov Aveenu was actually afraid of Eisav because Eisav was living in Israel!!!!!! But these speakers are not afraid to denounce the Zionists living in Israel with the most vile, despicable terms in the English lexicon. 

I am not going to go over the merits of voting for the WZO elections, it's been talked to death, and I know that I won't change anyone's mind!

 But how do thousands who thank G-d in benching for giving us Eretz Yisrael, who thank G-d in al ha'mechya for Eretz Yisrael, and who learned as children that the very first conversation that Hashem had with a Jew and Who then at this conversation gave him his very first mitzvah, which was for him to go to  Eretz Yisrael, and who learned that the very first conversation that Hashem had with Moshe was to tell him to bring the Jews to the Promised Land, how do they daven with a straight face to a G-d that is literally obsessed with the Land of Israel? 

How do they sit there listening to speakers for hours, deriding and denouncing that very Land! How do you guys live with yourselves? 

For G-d's sake, we are at war!!!! Give it a break already!!!

This week the Chevra Kadish in the USA announced that they bury at least 3 suicide victims in the Charedie community every week, and that's not counting those who accidentally overdosed! We have a pandemic, but they get up to denounce the Zionists!

I wonder if even one guy at the Asifa in Lakewood thought to himself, "Am I the only one thinking that this is perverted?" 

How out of touch with their very own communities were these speakers? 

I spoke previously about the Lakewood private chats whose members are in Kollel and who don't believe that Torah is Min 'shamayim r"l! There are women on these chats that say that they are only acting for the sake that their children don't get thrown out of Yeshiva and that their own husbands have no clue that they don't believe in a G-d r"l! One even said that he was a rav in a shul and doesn't know how long he can keep up this charade because he doesn't believe in the Torah r"l, he asks advice on how he should proceed! There are over 1,000 members on this chat! 

The Lakewood Vaad knows all about these chats, but is sweeping this under the rug! 

AHHHHH! But they are Zionists!

For man sees what his eyes behold, while Hashem sees into the heart. Therefore, we cannot judge or degrade specific individuals and certainly not the entire community, even those who do not favor in our eyes or do not act in a manner befitting our nation."

One of the speakers said that the Chofetz Chayim z"l warned about even speaking to the Zionists! 

Not one dummy listening to this nonsense confronted him to tell him that the Chofetz Chayim was nifter in 1933, which was BEFORE the State was established! And the CC was talking about the Zionists living IN Europe, he wasn't talking about the Zionists living in Eretz Yisrael and toiling its land,  in fact the CC bought an apartment in Petach Tikvah and was planning to make Aliyah! 

This speaker also invoked the name of R' Elchonon Wasserman hy"d, who was murdered in 1941, BEFORE the State was established! If R' Wasserman had made Aliyah he would have survived! In fact, his only surviving son R' Simcha did make Aliyah years later and established a Yeshiva there! 

Two years ago the Charedie Media made a big deal when the Satmar Rebbe, R' Zalman Leib Teitelbaum, brought $5 million dollars to Israel to give to those moisdois that claimed they weren't taking money from the Zionists! Looking at the numbers, this must have been a cruel joke, $5 million dollars can only last two weeks! 

And Satmar does take money from the Zionists, we pointed that out back in 2019 when we posted positive proof! 

But the bottom line is this, and you all may be shocked with this, but I live in Beit Shemesh and I get around and I talk to people all the time. The vast majority support the Zionist State of Israel... there I said it! 

It is the Rabbbanim, our leaders who are not reading their congregations right! The Rabbannim are totally disconnected and are clueless! And what is really crazy in Israel if your shul is registered and all Beit Shemesh shuls are, otherwise, they are dismantled, the leaders get a paycheck ...... guess from whom?

A NATO Threat Rising on Israel’s Border?

 

Syria and Turkey are negotiating a dangerous deal: transferring control of key territory near Palmyra—once a stronghold for Iranian-backed militias—in exchange for Turkish military and economic support. Turkey is planning to establish an airbase in central Syria to host F-16 fighter jets. If the U.S. greenlights Turkey’s reentry into the F-35 program, the threat intensifies dramatically. This would put a heavily armed NATO-member force, equipped with advanced U.S. technology, deep inside Syria—within striking distance of Israel. Some are calling it a greater threat to Israel than even Iran. This cannot be allowed to happen. There must be a proactive approach—not the usual reactive pattern Israel has fallen into. Prior to sentencing, the Judge asked the defendant if he had anything to say His response: After admitting his guilt to the court for the record, Reid also admitted his 'allegiance to Osama bin Laden, to Islam, and to the religion of Allah,' defiantly

stating, 'I think I will not apologize for my actions,' and told the court 'I am at war with your country.'

Kamisha Hart, a nurse from Portland University Hospital, one of the leading hospitals in the US, was fired after her shocking antisemitic expressions were exposed and after it turned out she justified the murder of Shiri Bibas, and the abduction of her children.

Columbia University’s new president once called Congressional hearings on campus antisemitism “Capitol Hill nonsense.”

Claire Shipman, a former CNN White House correspondent whose ex-husband is former Obama Administration press secretary Jay Carney, served as co-chair of the University’s board of trustees before she was appointed Friday night to replace interim school president Katrina Armstrong.

In a Dec. 28, 2023, text message, Shipman wrote to then university president Minouche Shafik she thought Columbia would be spared from the “capital hill nonsense,” referring to December 2023 Congressional hearings that saw the presidents of Harvard University, University of Pennsylvania and MIT testify about campus protests against the war in Gaza.

The tense hearings famously resulted in Harvard’s Claudine Gay and Penn’s Liz Magill resigning after they were grilled on whether calling for the killing of Jews would violate their school’s bullying and harassment policies — and answered that it depended on the context.

Shipman’s text messages about the hearings were revealed in a 325-page October report from the Republican House Committee on Education and the Workforce that included leaked messages between university officials.

Columbia’s leaders had expressed contempt for the congressional investigation, according to the report.

In the same text message, Shipman also suggested reinstating student groups that had participated in the protests.

“I do think we should think about unsuspending the groups before semester starts to take the wind out of that,” she wrote to Shafik.

Armstrong’s resignation was the second in less than a year over the university’s handling of campus protests.

Armstrong left days after she caved and told President’s Trump’s administration she would implement a mask ban during campus protests as a condition for keeping $400 million in federal funding — while allegedly privately promising faculty she would not.

Shafik had resigned from the school’s top post in August amid the furor over the campus protests.

Shipman and Columbia could not immediately be reached for comment.

 

Katrina Armstrong’s resignation as Columbia’s interim prez is another Trump win against lefty insanity

 

Maybe the third time will be the charm.

Columbia University obviously subscribes to the belief that Friday night is the best time to put out bad news.

How else to explain the fact that, at 8 p.m. Friday, it announced that its interim president had quit?

If members of the Board of Trustees hoped nobody would notice, they’re more delusional than advertised.

The resignation of Dr. Katrina Armstrong is yet another bombshell development in the Trump administration’s crackdown on universities violating the civil rights of Jewish students, with Columbia a serial offender and top test case.

The announcement gave no reason why Armstrong is returning to the medical school or why she is being replaced by Claire Shipman, co-chair of the trustees.

Shipman, a former television journalist, will be Columbia’s third president in a year.

The first, Nemat Shafik, was overwhelmed by campus chaos after the Hamas terrorist invasion of Israel and the Jewish state’s response, and fled to London.

Then again, no explanation for the latest change was needed.

Numerous reports show Columbia mired in internal turmoil over the White House plan to strip it of at least $400 million in federal grants and contracts unless it makes changes that will subject disruptive students to arrest and provide responsible oversight to two departments that are hotbeds of antisemitism.

Armstrong’s sin was that she tried to play for two teams at the same time.

She initially promised the White House that Columbia would forbid demonstrators from wearing masks, then said the opposite to faculty members.

She later reassured the White House she would keep her initial promise, but her credibility was ruined.

So now she’s gone, and Shipman is left to clean up the mess.

Cabinet approves: Maale Adumim - Jerusalem route - with no Palestinians

 The Security Cabinet has approved the laying of the third section of the "Sovereignty Road" in the area surrounding Jerusalem. The move, promoted by Defense Minister Israel Katz, will enable Palestinian Arabs to travel between population centers while bypassing Israeli checkpoints. In practice, it has other implications, i.e. diverting all Palestinian vehicles from the existing roads connecting Jerusalem and Ma'ale Adumim.

The decision was made for two main reasons – one for security, to prevent terrorism in this area. About one year ago, Matan Elmaliah was murdered and seven others were wounded in a shooting attack carried out by three terrorists on the section of the road in question.

The second reason is political, in order to create a continuum of roads in this area without Palestinians, and preventing them from accessing various areas by foot, such as the Khan al-Ahmar outpost, against which a demolition order has been pending for years and which the Palestinians define as strategic in an attempt to break Israel's territorial continuity.

The road will also remove a significant obstacle to the application of full Israeli sovereignty over Ma'ale Adumim, and has therefore been delayed by the political echelon over the years.

Guy Yifrach, mayor of Ma'ale Adumim, commented this morning: "We are delighted to reach a time like this. A historic-political decision that we brought to the Security Cabinet, the paving of the Sovereignty Road, was approved tonight. This will significantly improve the security of the residents of Ma'ale Adumim and the surrounding area, and will drastically reduce traffic congestion in the area.”

“Since I took office, this has been the city’s most important project. Over the past year, I have conducted dozens of observations, tours and discussions with senior government officials, the defense establishment and the IDF. Tonight, after persistent efforts, one of the most important decisions was made for the city of Ma'ale Adumim, for Jewish residence in Judea and Samaria and for the capital of Israel – Jerusalem."

"Beyond the diplomatic breakthrough that has been blocked for decades, this is also an unprecedented budgetary achievement: 303 million shekels were approved for the construction of the road. The project will include a connection between al-Azariya and a-Zaim through an underground tunnel, and will allow Palestinian traffic from southern Judea and Samaria to the north – without passing through Israeli roads. This is a historic moment, which proves how determination, cooperation and faith in the justice of our path has paid off," Yifrach concluded.

Netanyahu's Plane to DC Had to divert European Countries Due to ICC Warrant

 

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s most recent flight to Washington took longer than it should have due to the arrest warrant issued against him by the International Court of Justice in The Hague, Israeli Ambassador to the United States Yechiel Leiter said on Thursday.

“When the prime minister arrived here last month, he had to fly 13.5 hours, a trip that should take 12 hours. People don’t know it, but the reason was that he can’t land anywhere in Europe,” Ynet cited Leiter as saying during a webinar.

Netanyahu “had just had surgery. He came with two doctors, and they told him he may have to land for treatment,” the envoy explained in an online conversation with the One Israel Fund, an American organization dedicated to supporting Jewish presence in Judea and Samaria.

“But if he were to land anywhere in Europe, he could be arrested as a war criminal. So he had to fly over American army bases [for] 13.5 hours,” Leiter added.

Netanyahu had undergone a surgery to remove his prostate, less than six weeks before he took flight to the U.S. on Feb. 2 to meet with President Donald Trump. It was the first official visit of a foreign leader following Trump’s inauguration on Jan. 20.

The ICC issued an arrest warrant against Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for alleged war crimes committed in the Gaza Strip during the war that broke when Hamas carried out one of the largest terrorist attacks in history against the Jewish state, murdering roughly 1,200 people and kidnapping 251 more into the enclave on Oct. 7, 2023.

“You can’t fight antisemitism if the No. 1 Jew in the world is branded as a war criminal,” Leiter said during the webinar.

“So, as I told the joint session of the Senate leadership, if you are all fighting antisemitism—the first thing you must do is remove the mark of Cain from the prime minister’s forehead. That is the first step, because if he is a child murderer, then we are all child murderers, and we deserve the hatred,” the ambassador said.

Leiter added that the Trump administration has demonstrated a “commitment to assisting us and ensuring that no international entity undermines our right to defend ourselves. This also includes direct engagement with European countries to prevent unilateral actions against us.”

The ambassador also discussed his office’s work against the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement. The fight against antisemitism includes the fight against decisions made by local U.S. governments and districts to suspend their investments in Israeli government bonds—a phenomenon that has grown since the start of the current war in Gaza, he noted.

Leiter stepped into the ambassador role on Jan. 27. A U.S.-born former chief of staff to Prime Minister Netanyahu, Leiter founded the One Israel Fund in 1994.

His son Maj. (res.) Moshe Yedidyah Leiter was killed while fighting against Hamas terrorists in the northern Gaza Strip on Nov. 10, 2023.

Leiter, a 39-year-old father of six from Kibbutz Ein Tzurim, was killed along with three other Israel Defense Forces reservists while inspecting a booby-trapped tunnel entrance in the northeastern Gaza Strip’s Beit Hanun area.

Miriam Elisheva Yarimi Accused of Horrific Fatal Brooklyn Crash Is Luxury Wigmaker with History of Traffic Violations

 

Miriam Elisheva Yarimi, the 32-year-old driver accused of fatally running down a mother and her two daughters in Brooklyn on Shabbos, is a wigmaker with a luxurious lifestyle and a history of legal and traffic issues. Yarimi was driving her Audi with a suspended license on Ocean Parkway in Gravesend when she collided with a Toyota Camry, then careened into a crosswalk, killing the family as they left Shabbat services.

Known for flaunting her affluent lifestyle on social media, Yarimi has posted pictures of vacations, luxury cars, and nights out. She also gained attention after winning a $2 million settlement in 2023 from the NYPD over a misconduct claim.

In addition to her legal troubles, Yarimi has accumulated over 93 traffic violations, including 20 speeding tickets and fines exceeding $10,000. Authorities have not yet disclosed whether she will face charges in connection with the fatal crash.
