Pelosi Bans Naval Academy Grad from Watching His Mother Sworn In to Congress

 The Western Journal:

So much for “unity.”

Newly elected New York Rep. Claudia Tenney and her family have waited three months since the November election for Tenney to finally be sworn-in to the seat she won.

On Thursday, according to The Daily Caller, Tenney’s son, a graduate of the United States Naval Academy, was not allowed to attend the ceremony.

“I guess he’s considered a risk,” Tenney told The Daily Caller, confirming Spicer’s post.

Sure he must be. He’s the son of a Republican, after all. According to Tenney’s campaign biography page, her son, Trey Cleary, is a 2013 graduate of the Naval Academy who is now a captain in the United States Marines.

Most sane Americans would consider that the kind of man you’d trust your life to — considering the country is entrusting its existence to him and to men and women like him and has been for more than 200 years now.

But apparently “most sane Americans” doesn’t include Nancy Pelosi or her staff. Tenney told The Daily Caller she was informed her son would not be allowed to watch from the gallery during “several exchanges” through “text from staff and in person.”

In a way, it’s not surprising. The Democratic Party has made no secret of the fact that it distrusts the military — just look at the insulting “vetting” process for the National Guard that took place before the swearing-in of President Joe Biden on Jan. 20.

But it is surprising that that kind of distrust would be placed on such a personal level. Tenney, after all, is not a newcomer to Congress.

She was first elected in 2016, then lost to Democrat Anthony Brindisi in the 2018 midterms. In the November rematch, she defeated Brindisi by a razor-thin 109 votes out of more than 300,000 votes cast in the Empire State’s 22nd Congressional District, according to The New York Times.

That means she’s at least somewhat of a known quantity. And if her son were the kind of military officer liberals like to pretend are hiding under every bed — “white supremacist,” dangerous to democracy, bent on overthrowing the government they’ve sworn to protect — it’s a good chance Capitol security would know about it. (It’s a better chance the Brindisi campaign would have been shouting it from the rooftops well before November’s vote.)

HERE ARE THE HARD CORE HOLLYWOOD VERMIN YOU SHOULD BOYCOTT! TURN OFF THEIR STUFF!

Hollywood celebrities flew into a paroxysm of rage on Saturday after the Senate acquitted former president Donald Trump of inciting the Capitol Hill riots of January 6. Left-wing stars lashed out at the 43 Republicans who voted to acquit, calling them “traitors” and “fascists.”

Anti-Trump celebrities including Alyssa Milano, Rob Reiner, Bette Midler, and Rosie O’Donnell led the collective meltdown. “It is a sad day in America when only 7 republicans have the patriotism and integrity to convict a tyrant,” Milano tweeted.

The stars aimed much of their venom at Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY), saying that the former majority leader “has no soul.”

As Breitbart News reported, the final Senate tally was 53 guilty versus 43 not guilty, falling short of the two-thirds majority needed to convict Trump. In the end, seven Republican senators voted to convict the former president — Sens. Burr, Cassidy, Collins, Murkowski, Romney, Sasse, and Toomey.

Alyssa Milano wasted no time in declaring that Trump must now be taken to court.

Rob Reiner blasted the 43 Republicans, claiming that they had acquitted Trump of “the worst violation of the Constitution by a president in our nation’s history.”

CNN’s Promotion Of Idiot ‘Grim Reaper’ Attorney Ends In Embarrassment

CNN’s embrace of attorney Daniel Uhlfelder has ended in embarrassment, exactly as predicted. CNN and other newsrooms hyped the attorney last year when he dressed as the Grim Reaper and scolded unsuspecting Florida beachgoers for supposed COVID-19 social distancing violations. CNN devoted both an on-air report and social media posts to promoting Uhlfelder, treating him as a heroic figure rather than as a habitual, attention-seeking clown who had earlier joined a Black Lives Matter protest without any regard for social distancing protocols.

Now, though, an appeals court has recommended that the Florida Bar take disciplinary action against Uhlfelder. The recommendation comes in response to the attorney’s attempt to appeal a ruling against his idiotic case demanding that Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis close the beaches amid the pandemic, Florida Politics reports.

Uhlfelder and his lawyers “knew or should have known that their ‘demands’ that the Governor ‘close the beaches’ were not validly asserted below (in the circuit court) or on appeal,” the 1st District Court of Appeal panel said in an order written by Judge Brad Thomas and Judge Adam Tanenbaum.

Blinken, Biden's "Court Jew" Nods to Syria & Signals a Cooldown in US-Israel ties.

Secretary of State Antony Blinken’s statement Monday regarding Israel’s position in the Golan Heights has resonated in two contexts: as yet another indication of the change taking place in the US-Israeli relationship, and as a substantive statement on the issue at hand.

When asked by CNN about the Biden Administration’s view of the Trump Administration’s endorsement of Israel’s annexation of the Golan, Blinken responded that “leaving aside the legalities of that question, as a practical matter, the Golan is very important to Israel’s security. ”

He continued:

As long as Assad is in power in Syria, as long as Iran is present in Syria, militia groups backed by Iran, the Assad regime itself – all of these pose a significant security threat to Israel, and as a practical matter, the control of the Golan in that situation I think remains of real importance to Israel’s security. Legal questions are something else. And over time, if the situation were to change in Syria, that’s something we’d look at. But we are nowhere near that.

Israel and the American Jewish community are preoccupied with the question of whether the Biden Administration is distancing itself from Israel or rather from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. In the same CNN interview, Blinken was asked about US President Joe Biden’s tardiness in responding to Netanyahu’s congratulatory phone call. He stated that the phone call will be made soon. But the fact of the matter is that President Biden is taking his time in calling Netanyahu, thus indicating that the very close relationship, the intimacy, between the White House and Israel’s Prime Minister is over, that Israel will have to get used to being a friend and ally of the US, one among other friends and allies.

This is hardly surprising. The Biden Administration is busy exorcising numerous elements of the Trump period and close intimacy with Netanyahu is one of them. Time will tell whether Biden is also exacting a price from an Israeli prime minister who identified fully with one side of the aisle and humiliated a US president by speaking against him in Congress. Secretary Blinken took yet another step by dissociating the current administration from the full endorsement of Israel’s sovereignty over the Golan that had been made by its predecessor.

But Blinken’s statement is also important in the context of the unfolding Syrian crisis. He gave Israel full backing in its campaign against Iran and Hezbollah’s effort to embed themselves militarily in Syria and indicated support for a policy seeking an end to the Asad regime and Iran’s presence in Syria. At the same time, he put a marker for a future Syrian regime indicating that in a post-Asad era, and when the Iranian threat is lifted, that regime could hope to revive the quest for a peaceful return of the Golan. He indicated that it is a remote prospect, but a prospect it is.

Trump Acquitted Yet Again... The Only Thing Uniting the Fractured DemonRats is the Hate For Trump!

And so the verdict is in. . . Hallelujah. It’s over.

The acquittal of former President Donald Trump in his second impeachment trial is a fitting outcome to a case that should not have happened. Never before has a former president been impeached and put on trial, and it should never happen again.

This was a show trial, an attempt by Democrats to humiliate Trump after his election defeat and force Republicans to side with him or against him. While the president’s speech before the Capitol riot was at times too angry and bitter, there was nothing in it that could reasonably be seen as intending to incite an insurrection, as the single House article charged.

In fact, the case was in many ways the mirror image of the partisan putsch that Dem leaders Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer engineered over the Ukraine piffle almost exactly a year ago.

In the long history of our republic, there have been only four presidential impeachments, and two of them came courtesy of Pelosi and Schumer in the last two years. That’s making history in all the wrong ways.

They have normalized impeachment as a partisan weapon, which is the last thing our country needs. The growing instances of violence are being stoked by extremist demands for political purity, and the efforts to convict Trump and boot him from the ballot last year and in 2024 are dangerous provocations.

The final vote of 57-43 fell 10 votes short of the two-thirds needed for conviction, and was only a vote or two closer than was predicted before the circus began. The mutual decision to backtrack on the call for witnesses earlier in the day was a merciful sign that it was all over but the voting.

For Trump, the acquittal allows him to begin moving on with his life and focus on what role he wants to play in the 2022 midterms and whether he wants to run in 2024. He must also deal with the fact that various prosecutors are looking at his businesses and other issues.

Beyond that, expect Democrats to be especially creative in trying to keep Trump’s name in the headlines.

Nothing unites their fractured party like hating him, and Saturday’s failure will provide more fuel for their perpetual outrage.

Mom found "SOS" in box of decorations—Which Exposed China’s Re-education Camps

Religious dissident Sun Yi, locked up by China in the Masanjia Labor Camp, used his sparse English vocabulary to pen numerous SOS letters -- one of which was found by Julie Keith.

In 2012, Oregon mother Julie Keith opened a package of Halloween decorations from her local Kmart. Inside, she found something far more unsettling than a bunch of plastic skeletons and gravestones: an SOS letter from the prisoner who made them.

Written neatly in a blue pen, it read:

Please kindly resend this letter to the World Human Right[s] Organization. Thousands [of] people here who are under the persecution of the Chinese Communist Party Government will thank and remember you forever.

Julie froze.

“Is this a prank?” she thought.

The 42-year-old read on as the note detailed inhumane work conditions and the fact that many workers were imprisoned despite having committed no crimes. She Googled the name of the labor camp mentioned in the note: Masanjia. It was real. She tried contacting various human rights organizations and finally went to the Oregonian newspaper, which published a story about the SOS.

Then she waited.
