 President Joe Biden has issued an executive order banning the use of terms such as “China virus” and “Wuhan virus” when referring to COVID-19.

The order applies to federal agencies and public health documents and resources.

Former President Trump routinely called COVID the “China virus” or and other conservatives linked it to Wuhan, China where the virus is thought to have originated in a government lab. Trump blamed China for the global coronavirus pandemic.

“I Broke Down:” ID Tags Of Children At Sobibor Death Camp Unearthed

 Archaeologists carrying out an excavation dig at the Sobibor death camp in Poland unearthed the identity tags of four Jewish children murdered there during the Holocaust, the Israel Antiquities Authority announced Tuesday.

The discovery left the archeologists in tears.

The four metal personal identity tags belonging to four Dutch children – ranging in age from 5-12, bore their names, their dates of birth, and their hometowns: Lea Judith De La Penha, Deddie Zak, Annie Kapper and David Juda Van der Velde.

“As far as we know, identity tags with children’s names have only been found at Sobibor, and nowhere else,” said Yoram Haimi of the Israel Antiquities Authority, who is involved in an excavation at the site prior to the construction of a new visitors center, together with a Polish archaeologist, a Dutch archaeologist and local residents.

Rand Paul calls Trump impeachment trial ‘dead on arrival’ after 45 GOP senators vote against it

U.S. Sen. Rand Paul declared former President Trump’s Senate impeachment trial "dead on arrival" on Tuesday after 45 Senate Republicans voted against holding the proceeding, viewing it as unconstitutional.

Rand, a Kentucky Republican, had called for a procedural vote regarding holding a trial, claiming the Senate shouldn’t address the article of impeachment against Trump filed by the House this month because Trump is now out of office.

Five GOP senators voted not to dismiss the impeachment trial of President Trump: Susan Collins, Maine, Lisa Murkowski, Alaska, Ben Sasse, Neb., and Pat Toomey, Pa., and Mitt Romney, Utah. They voted with all 50 Democrat senators to table the point of order. 

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, who has indicated he has an open mind on whether Trump should be convicted, voted against ending debate.

 Former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, D-Hawaii, made headlines on Tuesday for asserting in a social media video that Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., and former CIA Director John Brennan should be considered "domestic enemies" of the U.S., deeming them a greater danger to the country than the rioters who stormed the U.S. Capitol building on Jan. 6.

Gabbard doubled down on her comments on "Tucker Carlson Tonight" Tuesday. During her appearance, she denounced the violent demonstrators, but warned of efforts to combat domestic insurgents through surveillance and other monitoring activities.

 "We recognize that those who stormed the Capitol on January 6 trying to stop Congress from fulfilling their constitutional responsibilities, they were acting as domestic terrorists undermining our Constitution," Gabbard told host Tucker Carlson.

"[However,] those like John Brennan, Adam Schiff and others are also acting as domestic terrorists because they are also undermining our constitution by trying to take away our civil liberties and rights that are guaranteed to us," she added.

U.S. Announces Restoration Of Relations With Palestinians,,,the ones paying salaries to those who murder Jewish mothers and children

 

U.S. President Joe Biden’s administration announced Tuesday it was restoring relations with the Palestinians and renewing aid to Palestinian refugees, a reversal of the Trump administration’s cutoff and a key element of its new support for a two-state solution to the decades-old conflict between Israelis and Palestinians.

Acting U.S. Ambassador Richard Mills made the announcement of Biden’s approach to a high-level virtual Security Council meeting, saying the new U.S. administration believes this “remains the best way to ensure Israel’s future as a democratic and Jewish state while upholding the Palestinians’ legitimate aspirations for a state of their own and to live with dignity and security.”

President Donald Trump’s administration provided unprecedented support to Israel, recognizing Jerusalem as Israel’s capital, moving the U.S. Embassy from Tel Aviv, slashing financial assistance for the Palestinians and reversing course on the illegitimacy of Israeli settlements on land claimed by the Palestinians.

The Polish Descendants of Murderers Are Accusing The Israeli Holocaust Museum of Illegally smuggling Tefillin Artifacts from Warsaw

The city of Warsaw has accused an Israeli Holocaust museum of being involved in the smuggling out of Poland of Jewish prayer artifacts that the museum said were found inside an old bunker in the Polish capital.

The Shem Olam museum near Hadera announced this week that it had obtained 10 sets of tefillin, a religious object worn during morning prayers, found by construction workers in Warsaw near the entrance to a bunker dug by Jewish fighters in preparation for the 1943 Warsaw Ghetto Uprising.

The City of Warsaw has no knowledge of the find, a spokeswoman, Karolina Gałecka, said in a statement. She said that meant that if Shem Olam’s is telling the truth about what it obtained and where, “a crime has occurred” because Poland requires anyone who finds archeological items to report their discovery to authorities.

Multiple Polish Holocaust museums also decried Shem Olam’s reported acquisition. The Jewish Historical Institute, the Warsaw Ghetto Museum and the Polin Jewish museum is Warsaw made a joint statement expressing their “outrage” over Shem Olam’s alleged actions, which the directors of all three institutions said may have been the result of “illegal trade.”

Israel Hayom, an Israeli newspaper that reported about Shem Olam’s acquisition, said the museum “secretly contacted the construction workers” and worked with them to obscure the find from Polish authorities.

Rabbi Avraham Krieger, Shem Olam’s director, declined to respond directly to the allegations. But he told the Jewish Telegraphic Agency that “nobody else knows how [the find] got to us except for a few sentences in a newspaper that are trying to magnify this.” He also said Judaica artifacts, including from the Warsaw Ghetto, are widely available for sale in Polish antique stores and online.

Biden Getting Crueler Every Day ....Giving Free Vaccines to Other Nations Before US Reaches Herd Immunity

 

On Thursday, Anthony Fauci informed the World Health Organization that the Biden administration will participate in WHO’s vaccine-sharing project. That reverses President Donald Trump’s America First approach. Fauci says the goal is to ensure “equitable access” to vaccines for all countries in the world, rich and poor alike.

Americans scrambling to get vaccinated have a right to know how sharing doses with poor countries will affect their own ability to get vaccinated.

President Biden has been under pressure from the public-health community to share the vaccine supply the United States has pre-purchased even before all Americans who want shots receive them.

The vaccine-sharing project, with the acronym COVAX, raises money to buy vaccines for poor countries but also asks wealthier countries to donate actual doses. The COVAX dose-sharing principles, released Dec. 18, are causing controversy in France, England, Canada and other countries struggling to get their own populations vaccinated. COVAX wants countries to share their doses as they receive them, rather than wait to see what’s left over. So far, Norway has agreed.

WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus says it’s unfair for younger, healthy adults in countries like the United States to get injections before the frail and elderly in poor countries. He calls it a “catastrophic moral failure.”

Similarly, Kate Elder of Doctors Without Borders objects “if a healthy 20-year-old in New Jersey is getting vaccinated before a frontline health-care worker in South Sudan.”

Impeaching Trump Gets More Dvisive by the Minute: Goodwin

 

Apparently believing his first week in the White House has been flawless and the public will be extra patient with him, Joe Biden did a very foolish thing. He decided to ride the tiger of impeachment. 

“I think it has to happen,” the president said in a brief TV interview about his party’s bid to try Donald Trump. Biden conceded a Senate trial would slow confirmation of his nominees and passage of legislation tied to pandemic relief, but insisted there would be “a worse effect if it didn’t happen.” 

He doesn’t say what could be worse, but let’s take a guess: Democrats obsessed with getting revenge on Trump would get furious at Biden. That’s the only possible answer because only Democrats would revolt if Trump were not put in the dock. 

Chalk it up to another example of Biden having trouble with the transition from partisan candidate to president. You might remember his promise to work for all Americans, no matter how they voted, but he’s already forgotten it. His dozens of executive orders and pronouncements show he’s working only for left-wing Dems.
