US could be coronavirus-free by late September, scientists say

The US could finally be free of the coronavirus in late September, and the whole world can expect to put the pandemic behind them in December, says a group of scientists in Singapore.

A mathematical model created by the Singapore University of Technology and Design is allowing the scientists to predict the future of the virus using data from already confirmed cases and deaths around the world.
Based on “a predictive-monitoring” technique, the model inputs global data which is converted to a bar chart. A curve over the top of the chart displays the trajectory of the disease. At the end of April, predictions showed that the US would be virus-free by Sept. 20 and the UK could see the end of the coronavirus by Aug. 27.
Scientists at the university cautioned that their dates were not exact and that the predictions should not lead to hasty ends of lockdowns around the world.
“Over-optimism based on some predicted end dates is dangerous because it may loosen our disciplines and controls and cause the turnaround of the virus,” they said.

"EEE'GEN". Hungarians Come thru for Israel......Hungarian FM says Budapest will defend Israel against EU, UN, and ICC

Hungary and Austria were the only two EU member to oppose threats of Israel sanctions over annexation
The Hungarian government will continue to support Israel and its interests against pressure from the European Union, United Nations, and the International Criminal Court, Hungary's Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó said Thursday in his first call with Israeli Foreign Minister Gabi Ashkenazi.
The call came less than a week after Hungary and Austria were the only two EU member states to oppose threats of sanctions if Israel implemented its plans to annex parts of the West Bank later this year.
EU foreign policy requires all 27 nations to reach consensus before a decision is made on behalf of the bloc, leaving High Commissioner for Foreign Affairs Josep Borrell to issue a warning against Israel in his own name, along with several other European countries.
Szijjártó added that Jerusalem can “count on Hungary’s fair and balanced standpoint," adding Budapest will not support statements "that condemn Israel both in the EU and at the United Nations."
Hungary also objects to the investigation of war crimes against Israel before the International Criminal Court, which it described as "unfounded," adding that Jerusalem and Budapest were fighting against "hypocrisy, bias and political correctness.”
Szijjártó concluded the call by saying that the two countries "share a common standpoint with relation to the issue of retaining identity, and the importance of sovereignty and security as well as with respect to the need to take action against illegal migration.”
A senior Israeli official later told The Jerusalem Post that identity and immigration were issues that were discussed between Szijjártó and Ashkenazi, but the remarks may have been based on past conversations with Israel.

Tiny worms squirming out of strawberries gross out TikTok users

This trick is berry unappealing.
A new viral trend has TikTok users soaking strawberries in saltwater — and then expressing shock as tiny worms emerge from the fruit.
“Apparently if you wash your strawberries in water and salt, all the bugs will come out — which, I didn’t even know there were bugs in there,” says TikTok user Seleste Radcliffe in a video, dumping a box of strawberries into a bowl of salted water. “Look at that, look at that,” she says, zooming the camera in on suddenly moving specks on the otherwise healthy-looking strawberries.
“After nearly 25 years of living, TikTok taught me how to properly wash strawberries,” writes Lauren Mackenzie Gambrell on Facebook. “They are FILLED with tiny bugs and tons of dirt!”

Goy Looking "Chusid " Tries Burning Down His Granmas's Home With Dogs Inside

I think that now that goyim are looking more and more like chassidim, .... it's time to change the look.....but I do think he took a haircut on sfirah ...
A Tennessee man is accused of intentionally setting fire to a room in his grandmother’s home with two dogs inside, according to a report.
Dustin Matthew Sneed, 30, was booked on arson charges in East Ridge last week — sporting a bizarre look in his mugshot with pink eye shadow and a bedazzled mohawk, news station WTVC reported.
The dogs were unharmed in the May 5 blaze, but a computer and several other personal items belonging to Sneed’s grandmother were destroyed, police said.
His grandmother also told officers there was a bottle of vodka missing from home after the fire that only he knew about, the outlet reported.
Officers were later called to a nearby diner where patrons said Sneed had been inside and had dropped a bottle of alcohol, the report said. He then left, poured the alcohol on the sidewalk outside and tossed the bottle to the ground.
The officers recovered the bottle which matched the one that was taken from his grandmother’s home, according to WTVC.
He was arrested and charged with arson, aggravated cruelty to animals and other offenses stemming from the incident, the outlet reported.

Satmar "Der Yid" Mocks R' Edelstein Because He Said That "There Is A Special Blessing Against Corona For Those residing In Israel "

Very interesting indeed!!!

This is the offending quote in reference to the virus from Harav Edelstein that "Der Shturmer" didn't like...

"הסיבה לזה שיש פה שיפור יותר מאשר בחו"ל, זהו מפני שיש זכות של ארץ ישראל, ארץ ישראל נותנת זכויות, שעושים בה יותר מעשים טובים, והאדם שגר בארץ ישראל משתפר, והוא אדם יותר טוב ממי שגר בחו"ל, זוהי המציאות והזכות של ארץ ישראל".

"The reason why there is a greater  improvement in Israel (in reference to Covid-19) as opposed to  chutz le'aarerz....is because of the merit of living in Eretz Yisroel, Eretz Yisrael offers merits, because of the great chesed done in EY, And any Jew that resides in EY will get better, and that is the reality and the merit of Eretz Yisrael"

To be sure,we are now aware that thousands of Jewish people died of the virus in chutz Le'aarerz with over 1,000 deaths in the US alone..
In Israel there are 300 deaths in a country of over 9 1/2 million people...

But what is especially interesting is that "Der Shturmer" only attacked and mocked the Litvisher gadol, Rav Edelstein and left Harav Shternbuch alone who had the very same reaction to the virus!

This is what Harav Shterbuch said:

"על תושבי ארץ ישראל מוטל חיוב הודאה מיוחד – להודות ולשבח לקב"ה שמצילנו שהמצב בכי טוב בארץ הקודש ביחס לשאר המדינות, וזהו בוודאי מהשגחת הקב"ה הפרטית בא"י
יותר משאר ארצות".

" On those residing in Eretz Yisrael there is a special obligation to thank and praise Hashem that saved us from the situation with good results as opposed to other nations, and this is for sure because of the special protection that Hashem provides to Eretz Yisrael and this is far greater than any other country"

But why not attack Harav Shternbuch who basically said that those living in Israel are better off then those living in Monroe or Williamsburg ?

The Satmar cowards are afraid to mess with Rav Shternbuch because he heads the  Eida Ha'chreidis .... if they would attack him they would lose the confidence of the entire Chasiddishe Israeli Community ....so they attack and mock the quiet saintly Rav Edelstein the Litvisher Gadol ...

And they couldn't just leave this thing alone....because R' Edelstein was basically saying that living in Eretz Yisrael is safer than living in the USA.......
and the cowards keep warning their naive sheep not to make Aliyah!

Sometimes when reading Der Shturmer it is important to keep in mind, to not only read the hate and garbage they write ..... but it's even more important to realize what they leave out, and that's where "der hint iz ba'gruben" the dog is buried!

‘Friends’-Themed Bar Mitzvah Gets Canceled .... The Courteney Cox Surprises Him!

“Friends” star Courteney Cox surprised a Jewish teenager who was a major fan of the hit sitcom on Monday’s at-home episode of “The Late Late Show With James Corden.”
“Friends” superfan Naftali Arden, 13, of Borehamwood, England, has watched the entire series seven times. He was scheduled to have a “Friends”-themed bar mitzvah party that included tables named after the show’s characters, a foosball table resembling the one Joey and Chandler had in their apartment and a red sofa for guests to take photos with. His bar mitzvah invitations also featured the iconic “Friends” font.
Arden was forced to cancel his party as a result of coronavirus-related social distancing restrictions. He instead had a virtual bar mitzvah on March 19 with family members and a rabbi. The rabbi who officiated, Rabbi Alex Chapper, said Arden’s was the “first-ever online bar mitzvah.”
Rabbi Chapper referenced the sitcom during the virtual ceremony and Arden talked about the show’s theme song in his bar mitzvah speech.
After footage from the celebration went viral online, Cox, who played Monica on “Friends,” wanted to virtually say hello to Arden. She did so during Monday’s episode of “The Late Late Show,” and also gifted Arden with a foosball table.
By Corden’s request, she additionally performed for Arden one of her character’s famous “I know” lines.
Watch Courtney Cox surprise Naftali Arden on “The Late Late Show With James Corden” in the video below:
