Billionaire Bill Ackman left a hefty $10,000 donation on a GoFundMe for the ICE agent who fatally shot Renee Nicole Good — and said he had intended to similarly support the slain mother’s respective fund, but apparently missed his chance.
A donation on the page set up for Jonathan Ross — who federal officials said was the Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer who fired fatal “defensive shots” at the anti-ICE protester and mom of three — boasts a top donation from a man named William Ackman.
After hours of online speculation, Ackman, 59, came forward and confessed to leaving the cash.
“I am big believer in our legal principal [sic] that one is innocent until proven guilty. To that end, I supported the @gofundme for Jonathan Ross and intended to similarly support the gofundme for Renee Good’s family (her gofundme was closed by the time I attempted to provide support),” Ackman wrote on X.
The GoFundMe supporting Good’s widowed wife and her children was closed by the organizer after it received more than $1.5 million in donations.
“The whole situation is a tragedy. An officer doing his best to do his job, and a protester who likely did not intend to kill the officer but whose actions in a split second led to her death. Our country is stronger if we work together to resolve the complex issues that are tearing us apart,” Ackman added.
Good was shot and killed after she tried to “weaponize” her vehicle against ICE agents and clipped Ross during an operation in Minneapolis, feds alleged.
Ross, who was previously injured during a vehicle-ramming attack on the job, fired one round through the windshield and the other two through the open driver’s side window, according to the harrowing video capturing Good’s last moments.
The GoFundMe for Ross, which claims to cover “any legal services this officer needs,” has garnered a little over $270,000 in donations and counting after Ackman plugged it in his X post.
The organizer for Ross’ GoFundMe — who doesn’t appear to directly know the agent — slammed Good’s viral charity as “media bs about a domestic terrorist.”
“I feel that the officer that was 1000 percent justified in the shooting deserves to have a go fund me,” they wrote.
In an update posted Sunday, the organizer said they will refund all donations if they don’t hear back from Ross’ family by March 9.
Ackman, a longtime conservative and the founder of Pershing Square Capital Management, boasts a staggering $9.3 billion net worth — making $10,000 approximately 0.0001075% of his total value.

All I see in this board committee are Rabbonim who wouldn’t know AI from a hole in the wall.
I understand the need to control AI.
Of course their input is crucial but you need tech savy ehrliche people majorly involved, who actually know what they’re talking about!
I am trying to understand how the honored Roshei Yeshiva are Poskining the Sugya of AI without any first hand knowledge or use. Like any other technology AI is a Golem. It can be used by Hachamim for gathering and sifting through useful and correct information or it can be used by fools to lead them to incorrect information and mistaken conclusions. I have been using it daily for 3 months in my writing as a fact checker, a grammar checker, a source finder, a history savant, and it has helped me correct dozens of mistakes and improve my writing. Should we stop using cars and telephones because they can also be used for destructive purposes? One of the biggest Gaonim of the last Dor told me there is no such thing as a Maase Satan .. only people who misuse the Bria can Kavyachol turn Hashem’s world which is Kulo Tov into a Maase Satan. Let the Gedolim write guidelines for the proper way to use AI instead of trying to stop this ocean change in civilization
