Gerer Chasssidm Getting Frustrated With the Gerer Leadership who are protesting Against the Draft

‎TV presenter Avri Gilad publishes a post written by a Gur Hassid, whom he describes as a close friend, who chose to write anonymously for fear of being hurt.

The writer harshly criticizes the leadership of the Gur Hasidism and the protests over the issue of conscription, and claims that the ultra-Orthodox public is undergoing a process of incitement, hatred, and extremism. ‎

‎"Our pillars are morally collapsing," writes the Chassid, who described his surroundings as "hate machines" and added that if he had been younger he might have found himself participating in demonstrations out of brainwashing.

He concluded his remarks with the sentence: "I wish I could just leave everything, it's like being held captive by Hamas." ‎

‎ Avri Gilad added clarification that the name was a pseudonym, in order to protect the identity of the author, and pledged that he was a true Gur follower and a close friend
