Mamzar'dani appointing radical transition team has NYC in for a rude awakening

by Douglas Murray

Well, New York — we’re going to be in for quite a ride. But then I suppose many voters knew that when they voted in Zohran Mamdani as mayor last month. Even so, the number of radicals he has already appointed should still make New Yorkers gulp.

The Post this week revealed the inept, badly spelled list of appointees to Zo’s transition team. But personally I wouldn’t be surprised if Mamdani headquarters deliberately got the names of their appointees wrong. After all, if you get their names right, it doesn’t require much digging to realize that the people who are going to advise the mayor on this city’s justice system have a certain one-sided expertise. And that side is the wrong one.

Traditionally, experts in criminal justice, policing and safety are people who are opposed to criminals. Not people whose experience is of supporting criminals or actually being criminals.

Take the appointment of Lumumba Bandele to serve on the soon-to-be-mayor’s “Committee on Community Organizing.” As well as being a black nationalist, Bandele has also spent his career supporting people who have killed cops in New York and New Jersey. That’s nice news for all the NYPD officers who put their lives on the line every day in this city.

Advocates for bad guys

Then there’s the appointment of Sarita Daftary from a group called “Freedom Agenda.”

This group describes itself as being “dedicated to organizing people and communities directly impacted by incarceration to achieve decarcerating and system transformation.”

In other words, the group campaigns for people who commit crimes rather than people who suffer from them, and believes prison is the problem with crime rather than the solution to it.

Finally — and worst — there has been the appointment of Mysonne Linen, a rapper who served seven years in state prison for committing armed robberies in the 1990s. Now he is going to sit on the mayoral transition’s “criminal legal system committee,” boasting on Instagram that “we are building something different.” That’s for sure.

Shin Bet Official Met Hamas Leader In Gaza Night Before Oct. 7, Likud MK Reveals

Likud MK Tally Gotliv, a member of the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee, announced on Thursday that a senior Shin Bet official sent an officer to meet with a senior Hamas figure on October 6, 2023, about eight hours before the October 7 massacre began.

Her statement follows reports about two senior Shin Bet officials who have repeatedly refused to report to the State Comptroller’s Office to testify in the investigation of the failures leading to the October 7 massacre—even after State Comptroller Matanyahu Englman invoked a never-before-used legal clause to summon them.

According to Gotliv, one of the officials who refused the summons, “Oscar,” the former head of the Southern District, is the one who sent an agent to Gaza the night before October 7.

Taking advantage of her immunity as an MK, Gotliv wrote, “R. from the Shin Bet, known as Oscar (I didn’t add the first letter of your last name out of courtesy) sent an officer to the Erez crossing on the night of October 6th at around 10 p.m. to meet with the cruel Izz al-Din al-Haddad. You wanted him to hear from this arch-terrorist what was happening with the SIM cards and other signs, and in your utter lunacy, you believed the bizarre story that the damned terrorist told you.”

Gotliv continued: “Now I understand why you refuse to appear before the State Comptroller. How will you explain, for example, the Tequila team in the face of the abandonment of those at the Nova music festival?”

Gotliv was referring to the fact that the Shin Bet sent a Tequila team [a small but elite undercover unit sent to thwart terrorists on the way to commit an attack] to the Gaza border the night before October 7 due to the many signs of an impending attack. Despite this, the Shin Bet failed to call in reinforcements or even bother waking up Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu—leaving thousands of young Israelis at a music festival in an open area near the border to be murdered, abducted, and wounded.

Gotliv concluded, “But fortunately, we have brave and trustworthy people who love our nation and this country, and thanks to them, we will eventually reach the truth.”

Chanukkah miracle: Israel discovers evidence of Judah Maccabee’s battlefield near Jerusalem

A bronze coin from the Asia Minor city of Side found at Horbat Bet Zecharia south of Jerusalem, where the Maccabees fought the Greek Seleucid army.

New archaeological finds in the hills south of Jerusalem may offer the first material evidence from one of Judah Maccabee’s battles, The Press Service of Israel has learned, as the Hanukkah holiday approaches.

The eight-day holiday of Hanukkah, which begins on Sunday night, marks the successful Hasmonean revolt against the Seleucid King Antiochus IV and the subsequent rededication of the Second Temple some 2,100 years ago.

In an exclusive interview with TPS-IL, Dr. Dvir Raviv of Bar-Ilan University said that a survey at Horbat Bet Zecharia, in the Gush Etzion region south of Jerusalem, has uncovered objects that match both the date and the military profile of the famous battle described in the Book of Maccabees in 163 BCE.

The site, on a hill about seven kilometers southwest of Bethlehem, is widely identified with the ancient village of Bet Zecharia, where the Seleucid army and the forces of Judah Maccabee clashed in what is known as the fifth Maccabean battle.

Beit Shemesh Rabbonim who do Kashrut for Business' in an "Ugly Fight" ..Rabbonim Silent and refuse to Condemn

Ugly fights Between Beit Shemesh Rabbis

*City News:*
Following the skunk spraying incident last night at the 'Chalat HaBayit' bakery by a masked extremist, it turns out that the background is apparently ugly ego battles between the four rabbis of the ' Kashrut Committee for Business'.

The committee is headed by Rabbis Septner, Topic, Rubinstein and Rabinowitz, and as part of the pressure exerted by their representatives, business owners are required to sign the kashrut regulations and the business's appearance.

However, it turns out that the rabbis themselves are not getting along, and these are ego battles that often include threats and slander. On one side are Rabbis Rabinowitz and Rubinstein, who represent an extreme and strict line, and on the other side is Rabbi Septner's camp, which represents a relatively moderate line. The four are conducting business owners' relations through representatives and activists.

A business owner who gives in to threats and terror from the extremist representatives - and signs  - will be forced to deal with strict, bullying and sometimes even violent conduct from that moment on.
On the other hand, a business owner who signs the regulations for the representatives of the other rabbis will enjoy support and freedom of action within the framework of those regulations.

In this case, the owners of the 'Chalat HaBayit' bakery were in the process of signing with Rabbi Topic.
One of the rabbis' associates shared our concern that the extremists, who did not "like" the that the business owners were tilting towards the competing rabbis, chose to sabotage the signing process by spraying skunk spray - an action that caused the bakery owners to take a step back and reconsider signing.

We should note that none of the rabbis dare to condemn the event, which proves once again that those involved are not acting "for heaven's sake", but are busy with struggles for control.

Spineless boyfriend cowers as his girlfriend fights off armed robber

A damsel distressed a knife-wielding attacker — while her male companion cowered in terror, at one point shielding himself behind a wall.

A viral video shows a pair of young backpackers chatting at the entrance of what appears to be a bank or currency exchange in Colombia when a thug appears with a weapon, possibly a knife, security camera footage obtained by NewsFlash shows.

The thief tries to slash the woman’s backpack off her body, but she claws and shoves at him as her companion ducks behind the wall and onto the sidewalk.

Despite stepping forward in an apparent attempt to man up, the redheaded wimp never comes to the woman’s aid.

He watches her desperate struggle for a full fifteen seconds; at some point another man makes an attempt to step in, but then backs off, letting the woman continue to fend for herself.

Eventually, a good Samaritan dashes forward and whacks the thug with a motorcycle helmet.

Three more passers-by pile on, throwing the thief down and beating him on the ground.

The cowardly companion, however, never joins the fray — even when the thief is outnumbered four-to-one.

But after the danger passed, the wuss was back, ready to comfort the woman, the video shows.

Few details are currently available about the incident, including the date and the nature of the relationship between the two backpackers. The video shows them talking, but it is unclear if they knew one another beforehand.

Nevertheless, netizens have wasted no time ridiculing the two lily-livered bystanders, particularly the one who scrambled behind the wall.

“White Knight Jimmy just stood there like a goofball and did nothing,” one X user quipped.

“If that’s her man, she needs a new one,” someone else commented on the r/PublicFreakout Reddit page.

“Texas got rid of PornHub so that guy’s the biggest p—y I’ve seen in a while,” agreed another netizen.

Others praised the good Samaritans and lauded the young woman’s bravery. “The [rescuer] helped give those gringos an unforgettable story,” read one comment, in Spanish, on r/Colombia.

“I’m loving how it came together once half of the street showed up to collectively enforce the lack of tolerance for such horse s—,” another Redditor wrote.

Poll: 92% of secular Israelis light Chanukka candles

A new poll conducted for the "Tzohar Index for Judaism and Tradition" shows that 92% of secular Israelis light Hanukkah candles, fully or partially.

This figure indicates the spread of maintaining Jewish tradition on the holiday of lights among a public that is not necessarily religious. Of these, 68% stated that they light candles on each night of the holiday, while about 24% stated that they light candles on only some nights. Only 8% of respondents stated that they do not light candles at all.

The poll emphasizes that Hanukkah remains not only a religious holiday, but also a cultural symbol that unites Israeli society. It is a holiday that is celebrated not only because of its religious significance, but also because of the values it represents, including Israeli unity, inner freedom, and spiritual courage.

Rabbi Asher Sabag, a member of the Tzohar board, responded by saying that “the ethos of the heroism of the 'few against the many,' the struggle for values and our homeland, is deeply connected to the Israeli experience of independence and resurrection.”

He added that the custom of lighting candles symbolizes hope and unity, especially after the attack of October 7th, and adds great significance to it. “The symbol of the candle provides a hint of an inner strength that motivates us not to despair, to symbolize our rebelliousness and resurrection, and to give a dimension of spirituality and holiness,” noted Rabbi Sabag.

Satmar "Shventz" Plan Massive Anti-IDF Draft Demonstration ..Guess Where? ... In London ..

What a spectacle — and what a waste of time. Satmar is busy organizing protests in London, but let’s be real: sooner or later the Muslims will chase them out. London already has a Muslim mayor, and when the tide turns, where exactly will Satmar run?

Not to the USA — Trump isn’t opening the doors for more people to mooch off the system. The only option left will be Israel, where they’ll suddenly need the very protection of the IDF they spend their lives demonizing.

So what’s behind this useless protest? Not one MK in the Knesset cares what these leidegeirs have to say. The truth is simple: Satmar teenagers are bored out of their minds. They don’t enjoy learning, they don’t exercise, they don’t swim, they don’t have smartphones. So what’s left?

Easy. Stage a protest against their eternal nemesis — the State of Israel, home to the majority of the Jewish people. At least it keeps them occupied for a few hours.

But then comes Sunday. And the question remains: what do you do with these kids once the protest is over?

Stay tuned.

Following the major Satmar rally in Manhattan against Israel’s proposed draft law, which accomplished Zero, London’s Satmar kehilla is now preparing for its own large-scale demonstration.

Thousands of residents from across London’s frum neighborhoods are expected to gather Thursday afternoon outside the Israeli Embassy to voice their opposition to the ongoing efforts in the Knesset to advance a new conscription law.

The demonstration is being organized by Satmar and are pushing to have all major chasidish kehillos join them , with participation expected from , Belz, Vizhnitz, Bobov, and Ger.

Both dueling Satmar factions have agreed to unite for this protest, lending unusual weight and symbolism to the event, just like when dueling Arabs unite against Israel.

Organizers also noted that the gathering is set to take place on the 21st of Kislev, long marked as the “Yom Hatzalah” of the Satmar Rebbe, Rav Yoel Teitelbaum zt”l, from none other than Rudolf Kastner a Zionist!

The call to protest follows a request from the Badatz of the Eidah HaGanavim in Yerushalayim, which issued a strongly worded letter urging kehillos abroad to join the outcry against any legislation that would compel "bnei Torah" in Eretz Yisroel to serve in what they termed “the army of destruction.”

In response, the rabbonim of London’s Badatz Kehillas Kadathia issued their own letter encouraging full participation, stressing that the hour demands a united and public stance.

Local rabbonim across London have signed on to the initiative, encouraging all men and bochurim to attend. Yeshivos affiliated with Ger have already confirmed that they will be sending their bochurim, and organizers say buses will be running from all major chareidi centers to accommodate the large turnout.

The demonstration follows the massive Manhattan protest outside the Israeli Consulate two months ago, which drew international attention but accomplished zero. With the draft bill continuing to advance through Israel’s Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee, London’s kehillos say it is their responsibility to raise their voices in solidarity.

The atzeres is scheduled to begin at 2:00 p.m. London time. Community leaders anticipate a peaceful but forceful show of unity, expressing the long-held position that the chareidi community worldwide stands firmly against any legislation that would require bnei Torah in Eretz Yisroel to abandon their learning and join military service.

In a Display of Irony Satmar Invite anti-Israel Mamzar'ani to the Seuda to Celebrate the Zionist Rescue of R' Yoel Teitelbaum

You can’t make this up. The Satmar Rebbe, Rabbi Joel Teitelbaum, was rescued from the Holocaust in 1944 on the Kastner train — a mission organized by the Zionist Rudolf Kastner that saved 1,684 Jews from Hungary. Without Kastner’s negotiations, the Rebbe would not have survived.

And yet, Satmar Hasidim mark the 21st of Kislev (Kuf Alef Kislev) as a day of celebration, while simultaneously pushing a revisionist narrative that they were the ones who rescued him. That’s not just false — it’s a grotesque distortion of history.

Now comes the ultimate insult: Rabbi Aron Teitelbaum invites a virulent anti‑Israel politician, Mayor‑elect Mamzar’ani, to the very seuda commemorating this rescue. Think about that. A day that exists only because of a Zionist’s courage is being celebrated by honoring someone who despises Israel.

The hypocrisy is staggering. The irony is unbearable. And the tragedy is that Holocaust memory is being twisted to serve an agenda that spits in the face of the truth.

There is a quote from the Kloizenberger Rebbe z"l after the 6 day war in 1967,

After the Six Day War in 1967, someone told the Kloizenberger Rebbe z”l that Rabbi Yoel Teitelbaum, the Satmar Rebbe z”l, had prohibited visiting the Kotel — because it was captured by Zionists.

The Kloizenberger Rebbe’s reply was cutting:

“If that’s the case, then one shouldn’t visit the Satmar Rebbe either — since he himself was rescued by a Zionist!”

The Story of Ayaleh (Faige) Shterbuch that was raped by Berland the God!

This was filmed in 2020, but I am bringing it now to show this pattern by Chassidishe courts  to hold their leader as a GOD!

We brought your attention to the Viznitzer Shvantz, and then showed you how the supporters of the present Gerer Rebbe also consider him as a God!

The God of the supporters of Berland, also rapes!

Didn't know that Frum Charedie Jews worship so many gods! I thought we have only ONE!

Deep Pit Mystery Near Beit Guvrin as Missing Jerusalem Man Found Dead

Rescue forces have recovered the body of 29-year-old Jerusalem resident Moshe Tzabari from a deep pit in open terrain near Kfar Zoharim by Beit Guvrin, after an intensive search following his disappearance.

Police are treating the case as a suspected murder.

Tzabari was found more than 10 meters below ground in a narrow borehole in a wooded area, with significant signs of violence on his body. Fire and rescue crews from the South and Jerusalem districts used specialized gear to lower teams into the shaft and carefully extract the remains.

Nearby, investigators located a burned car linked to Tzabari, as well as bloodstains at the entrance to the pit, reinforcing the suspicion that he was killed elsewhere and dumped there. Tzabari was not known to police.

A court has imposed a sweeping gag order on investigative details for the coming weeks, while police and security officials pursue those behind the killing and examine both criminal and potentially nationalist motives. Tzabari’s brother says the family believes he was kidnapped near his home before being murdered.

In Time For Chanuka Archaeologists Uncover Intact Section of Ancient Jerusalem Wall From Chanukkah Era

Archaeologists have finished uncovering the longest continuous remains of an ancient wall that encircled Jerusalem, including possible evidence of a 2,100-year-old ceasefire between warring kingdoms.

Last week, archaeologists finished excavating the most complete part ever discovered of the foundations of the walls, which surrounded Jerusalem during the time of the Hasmonean Kingdom, when the story of Hanukkah took place.

In Hebrew, Hanukkah means “dedication,” and the holiday marks the rededication of the Temple in Jerusalem in the second century B.C., after a small group of Jewish fighters liberated it from occupying foreign forces, and the Hasmonean Kingdom that followed.

Jews celebrate the eight-day holiday, which this year begins on Dec. 14, with the ritual of lighting a nightly candle, in honor of the tiny supply of ritually pure oil that they found in the temple that lasted for eight nights instead of just one. Many also eat fried foods such as potato pancakes, called latkes, to memorialize this miraculously long-lasting oil.

The Hasmonean wall foundation, whose excavation was finished last week in Jerusalem, was likely built a few decades after the story of Hanukkah by the same rulers. It’s almost 50 meters (164 feet) long, around half the length of a football field, and around 5 meters (16 feet) wide. It held walls, which according to estimations and some historical writings, were taller than the current walls surrounding Jerusalem’s Old City.

Much of the current walls surrounding Jerusalem’s Old City date back hundreds of years to the Ottoman Era.

Leading Religious Zionist Rabbis Urge Early Marriage

Senior rabbis in the Religious Zionist community, organized under the association of “Torat HaAretz HaTova,” published an official letter this week calling for urgent action regarding the phenomenon of late marriage, according to an Arutz Sheva report.

According to them, young men and women should receive significant emotional, halachic, and practical guidance already in their formative years within religious and educational training frameworks.

The rabbis emphasize that establishing families is a supreme value in the Jewish people, and they call to encourage and empower anyone who can contribute to advancing matchmaking efforts. The letter is directed to heads of yeshivot, seminaries, and pre-military academies, recommending that they introduce content on relationship education and personal guidance at early stages.

The rabbis also propose appointing matchmakers within educational institutions who will devote time and resources to accompany the young men and women. At the same time, they call on graduates of these systems to approach matchmakers or professional counselors for personal guidance in building healthy relationships.

In addition, the rabbis note that matchmakers who successfully help create a match should be given respectable compensation, stressing that this is a profession requiring experience and sensitivity.

In the final part of the letter, the rabbis state that young people should be encouraged to marry as early as possible: “Ideally, one should marry even before combat military service and before beginning academic studies.”

According to them, encouraging early marriage may significantly reduce the scope of late singleness within the Religious Zionist community.

Newly surfaced footage shows Mossad chief Roman Gofman battling Hamas on October 7

Newly surfaced footage shows incoming Mossad chief Roman Gofman battling Hamas terrorists on October 7 without a vest or helmet and armed only with his personal handgun.

Around the 35-second mark, he is seen engaging the terrorists before they open fire and shoot him in the leg.

The video then shows Hamas terrorists just yards from his position moments earlier, followed by Israeli forces evacuating him to an ambulance.

Rallying Call to Eretz Yisrael

by Rabbi Avraham HaCohen Kook

The celebrated Torah luminary and first Chief Rabbi of pre-state Israel, Rav Avraham Yitzchak HaCohen Kook (1865-1935) is recognized as being among the most important Jewish thinkers of all time. His writings reflect the mystic's search for underlying unity in all aspects of life and the world, and his unique personality similarly united a rare combination of talents and gifts. He was the undisputed leader of Religious Zionism, defining the Jewish People and the Land of Israel as entities with specific commandments in the Torah of Israel, a construct known as Torat Eretz Yisrael.

Rav Kook was a prominent rabbinical authority and active public leader, but at the same time a deeply religious mystic. He was both Talmudic scholar and poet, original thinker and saintly tzaddik.

Read his prescient words, a heartfelt call to today's Diaspora Jews - written a century ago:

The Land of Israel, Come to the Land of Israel, everyone.

Let us sound this rallying cry clearly, without pause.

Come to Eretz Yisrael. Beloved brethren, save your souls. The souls of your future generations, of our entire nation. Save it from desolation and waste, from decay and humiliation. Save it from evil and impurity, from the sorrow and distress to which it is subject in all the countries of other nations, without distinction.

Come to Eretz Yisrael. Let us call out in a resounding, thunderous voice, in a voice that sets off a storm and enflames the heaven and earth, a voice that penetrates all chambers of the heart.

Escape for your lives and come to the Land of Israel. It is the voice of God that is calling us. His hand is outstretched to us; His spirit, which we have in our hearts, is gathering us together, He is encouraging us, and He is compelling all of us to sound this great rallying cry:

Major Chassidus Openly Worships Idolatry!

Chassidim and Yeshivish circles often criticize Chilonim relentlessly, sometimes even going so far as to deny their Jewishness altogether.

One prominent leader of a major Chassidus even questioned Chabad’s campaign to encourage secular Jews to put on tefillin, offering the twisted logic that such efforts are futile since they have “hirhurim.” It sounds absurd, but I’ve seen people on my own blog defending this childish sevarah.

And yet, when one of their own makes far more outrageous claims, the silence is deafening. Reb Mendele Viznitzer — who himself once referred to his own role as a “shvantz,” a tail — has followers who treat him as immortal, even divine.

If he calls himself a “shvantz,” who am I to argue?

The irony is glaring. The very Chilonim whom these groups disparage do not worship avoda zara. But within their own ranks, they tolerate and even celebrate behavior that borders on idolatry.

Michael Rapaport: How I became spiritually stronger through wearing tefillin

Jewish-American actor and comedian Michael Rapaport shared his journey of reconnecting to Judaism, writing: “It charges me up and connects me to my identity.”

The Jewish-American actor posted a photo of himself laying tefillin on Sunday, along with a heartfelt message about his spiritual growth over the past two years.

"I started wrapping tefillin about two years ago," Rapaport wrote on X. "I didn’t grow up doing it. I didn’t grow up understanding it. And to be totally honest, when I’d see guys in NYC doing it on the street or outside a bagel shop or in the park, I thought it looked weird. I didn’t get it. I didn’t understand the beauty or the meaning."

He continued: "But now? Now when I wrap tefillin, especially first thing in the morning, it hits me in my chest. It centers me. It charges me. It makes me feel focused, grounded, and armed - not with weapons, but with purpose, discipline, and identity."

Rapaport added, “It’s not just a ritual - it’s how I talk to G-d. It’s how I talk to my people. It’s how I talk to myself. And I love it. I really love it.”

He concluded by describing the powerful feeling after prayer: “I feel like a superhero when I walk out the house after praying. Not invincible - but connected.”

He ended the post with the words: “Am Yisrael Chai”
