Happy New Year! Gazan terror tunnel collapses, kills 3
Channel 2 reported that since the beginning of the year, 19 Hamas activists have been killed by collapsed terror tunnels.
Eight Palestinian tunnel operatives were wounded in a tunnel collapse in August in the northern Gaza border town of Shuja’yya, according to Ma’an News Agency.
Israel's views the tunnels as a major security threat and have reportedly drawn up plans to protect Israel's southern communities.
Israel’s defense establishment plans to build a concrete wall that goes tens of yards underground as well as above ground along the Gaza Strip border.
The plan, revealed in June on the front page of the Israeli daily newspaper Yediot Aharonot, will cost an estimated $568 million, less than previously estimated, according to the report.

"Miss Piggy" Alicia Machado accused of threatening to kill judge in late '90s
Shortly after she won her crown in the late '90s, a judge in Venezuela accused Machado of threatening to kill him after he indicted her then-boyfriend for attempted murder.
Machado threatened "to ruin my career as a judge and ... kill me,'' Judge Maximiliano Fuenmayor said at the time.
Her boyfriend, Juan Rafael Rodriguez Regetti, was accused of shooting and wounding his sister's husband, who he blamed for his sister's suicide.
Rodriguez was accused of shooting and wounding Francisco Antonio Sbert Mousko outside a church in Caracas where his wife -- Rodriguez's sister -- was being eulogized.
Sbert reportedly suffered brain damage from the attack.
The victim's family accused Machado of driving her boyfriend's getaway car, but she denied any involvement and apparently was never indicted, due to lack of evidence.
Now a U.S. citizen, Machado told reporters Tuesday in a conference call arranged by Hillary Clinton’s campaign that her experience with Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump could "open eyes" in the election.
After the debate, Machado tweeted her thanks to Clinton, writing in Spanish: "Thanks Mrs. Hillary Clinton. Your respect for women and our differences makes you great. I'm with you."
In June, Machado appeared at a news conference in Virginia held by immigrant advocacy groups to encourage Latino voters to support Clinton.
Machado says that when she gained weight after being crowned Miss Universe for 1996, Trump, who ran the pageant, labeled her "Miss Piggy."
Asked about the exchange during an interview Tuesday with "Fox & Friends," Trump said Machado was "the worst we ever had," adding: "She gained a massive amount of weight. It was a real problem."
After the debate, Clinton's campaign quickly released a web video detailing Machado's story, portraying her as a mortified pageant winner whom Trump called "fat" or "ugly" and who was blindsided by reporters Trump invited to watch her work out.

Notice the Tefillin bag has the Acronym TIPISH ... fool |
They will now be forced to bring their children to shul, have to daven and learn with them .......
and the worst part of it is that they will have to eat food from the mother-in-laws' !
The New Year starting out just great!
Hundreds of people scheduled to leave New York on Wednesday night for Uman have just been notified that the flight has been cancelled.
The tickets were sold by a well-respected travel agency, and the passengers were being flown on a privately chartered 747. The flight was advertised as a direct flight.
Although it is unclear about why exactly the flight was cancelled, sources say that the flight did not have the appropriate landing permits in Ukraine, prompting the cancellation of the flight.
Passengers who spoke to the travel agency are being told that their money was being refunded, and being told that they can try and make alternate travel arrangements.
The following email was written by one of the flight organizers:
Dear friends,
This past summer we attempted to organize a charter flight to the Zion of Rabeini Hakodosh so that our community can travel to Uman for Rosh Hashanah. With Hashem’s help we made contact with a reputable charter company that was willing to provide us with a reasonably priced flight option that would be best suitable for our community.
We reached out to Do All Travel to assist us in servicing the community to book and ticket this charter flight. Do All Travel put in their best effort to service the positive response.
Unfortunately at the last minute we received word from the charter company that due to issues beyond their control there will be no flight leaving tonightfor Kiev in time for Rosh Hashanah. We profusely apologize for the situation and we understand your disappointment. We take full responsibility for this unfortunate situation.
May hashem help that with all of your good intentions you should merit to a healthy and fruitful year.
With sincere appolgies,
Yoily Gertner

Shimon Peres dies at 93
Israel’s ninth President and former Prime Minister Shimon Peres has passed away at the age of 93, two weeks after suffering a serious stroke and being admitted to the Tel Hashomer Hospital.
His condition deteriorated on Tuesday and family and friends had been summoned to the hospital to say their farewell.
Peres served as the Prime Minister of Israel twice and twice as Interim Prime Minister, and was a member of 12 cabinets over a period of 66 years.
Peres was first elected to the Knesset in November of 1959 and, except for a three-month-long hiatus in early 2006, served continuously until 2007, when he became President.
He was the longest serving chairman of the Labor party, from 1977 until 1992. While serving as a member of Labor for the majority of his time in the Knesset, in 2005 he left Labor to support Ariel Sharon and his new Kadima party.
Following Kadima's win in the 2006 election, Peres was given the role of Vice Prime Minister and Minister for the Development of the Negev, Galilee and Regional Economy, serving under Prime Minister Ehud Olmert.
Peres was elected President of the State of Israel by the Knesset on June 13, 2007, and resigned from his role as a Member of the Knesset the same day. Peres was sworn in as President a month later, on July 15, 2007.
He announced in April 2013 that he would not seek to extend his tenure beyond 2014 and was succeeded by Reuven Rivlin in July of that year.
Peres served as Foreign Minister in the second government of Yitzhak Rabin and was among the architects of the Oslo Accords, for which he won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1994.
He was born Szymon Perski, on August 2 1923, in Wiszniew, Poland (now Vishnyeva, Belarus), to Yitzhak and Sara Perski. His father was a wealthy timber merchant, later branching out into other commodities. His mother was a librarian. Peres' grandfather, Rabbi Zvi Meltzer who was murdered in the Holocaust, had a great impact on his life.
This past January, Peres was admitted to the Tel Hashomer Hospital after he suffered a mild heart attack.
Last month, Peres suffered from chest pains and his son-in-law, Dr. Rafi Walden, was called to his home in Tel Aviv. Tests showed that Peres had suffered from atrial fibrillation of the heart. A senior cardiologist treated the former President at the time until his heart rate returned to normal and he was not admitted to hospital.
A week before his hospitalization, the former President underwent an operation to have a pacemaker device implanted to prevent irregular heartbeats. The operation took place just after he returned to Israel following a political conference in Italy.
Sources close to the former President said at the time that Peres’ physicians had advised him to get the pacemaker device to prevent heart disorders.

SHOCKING: 50% of donations to Clinton campaign come from Jews and 70% will vote for HELL"iry!
The study also found that 25% of donations to the Republican Party also come from Jewish donors.
In an interview with the Jerusalem Post, Troy stated that this is why presidential campaigns are aimed at Jews even though they only make up 2% of American voters.
Professor Troy also stated that the electorate system is preferential towards states that have large Jewish populations like Florida, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Michigan.
In those states, there isn’t a clear winner for either candidate but they have large Jewish electorates and the Jewish voice becomes very meaningful.
Troy estimates that 70% of Jews will vote for Hilary in November, which is similar to the percent of Jews that voted for Barack Obama in the last elections. According to Troy, in meetings with Republican officials, Jewish contributors still mostly support the Democratic Party, despite the unwavering pro-Israeli policy of the Republican Party.
Hillary shakes and giggles after Trump cited a video message of Clinton bizarrely shouting at union laborers,
TRUMP: Wait. The AFL-CIO the other day, behind the blue screen — I don’t know who you were talking to, Secretary Clinton, but you were totally out of control. I said, there’s a person with a temperament that’s got a problem.HOLT: Secretary Clinton?CLINTON: Whoo! Okay.
But the delivery is something that needs to be seen. Clinton’s exclamation and wriggle last about five seconds, getting awkward toward the end:
USA Today‘s Josh Hafner writes that he counts Clinton “shaking her shoulders as many as 10 times.” [Did I mention this election has prompted some of the weirdest news coverage in history?]
Michael Savage Broadcast Shut Down Nationwide Right Before Debate?
Wow. This is quite remarkable.
Michael Savage is a very well known radio talk personality. The Savage Nation is a nationally syndicated talk show that is the second most listened-to radio talk show in the country with an audience of over 20 million listeners on 400 stations across the United States.
Earlier today he was discussing his perspectives on the presidential debate and giving examples of current and anticipated debate bias.
In addition, the broadcaster began discussing Hillary Clinton’s mysterious health condition that Savage believes might be Parkinsons.
Almost immediately, and without any notification, New York (tri-state area) radio station WABC-Radio TV cut Savage off the air and replaced him with the lesser rated Curtis And Cooby Show.
Shortly thereafter, as Michael Savage discovered the issue and began discussing what was going on in/around the New York broadcast area, all Savage affiliates nationwide cut off the broadcast and replaced the live transmission with a recording of a previous show.
Here’s a recording of the 2nd hour broadcast today that explains what was going on, as it was going on in real time, and as Savage began finding out what was happening. The explanation culminates best around the 23:00 point of this audio.

Giuliani: U.S.Should Reject Two-State Solution Until Palestinians Give Up Terror
Former New York mayor Rudy Giuliani, an adviser to Donald Trump, said on Saturday night that the U.S. should oppose a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict until the Palestinians can prove they are capable of renouncing terror, and also expressed his hope that the next president will nullify the Iran deal.
“You can make peace between the two of them, but you can’t treat them the same,” said Giuliani, slamming attempts at moral equivalence between the two sides.
“The United States should reject the whole notion of a two-state solution in Israel, or maybe it should restate it: It should be a two-state solution when the Palestinian Authority demonstrates that it can be a state, and not a homeland for terrorism,” he added.
“It’s not in the interest of Israel to have a terrorist state on its border. It would not be the interests of my country to create a new haven for terrorists,” he said as his audience applauded.
Giuliani’s view that the two-state solution should be abandoned is shared by Trump’s senior Israel aides, Jason Greenblatt and David Friedman.
The two-state solution calls for the creation of a Palestinian state alongside Israel.
Giuliani also told the IAC that he hopes the next president will cancel the nuclear agreement reached with Iran last year.
“[Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei] is insane. The people around him are insane,” Giuliani said, adding that the Islamic Republic is “the single biggest state sponsor of terrorism in the world,” full of “homicidal maniacs who have killed hundreds of thousands of their own people, who have recently killed young American men and women in Iraq with the Quds Force … and we’re going to give them nuclear weapons?”
“What does that mean if we give them hundreds and millions and billions of dollars?” he asked.
“I hope we elect a president who reverses that agreement,” he continued. “I can’t speak for anyone else. I oppose the agreement because I would never put nuclear material in the hands of a proven homicidal maniac. I consider putting a nuclear weapon in the hands of a country that is dedicated to the extermination of the state of Israel as not being a friend of Israel.”
