“I don’t speak because I have the power to speak; I speak because I don’t have the power to remain silent.” Rav Kook z"l

Charedie Insanity Continues" Moetzes states in a Kol Kora that "anyone who doesn't vote for " Degel" is going Against the Torah" Rav Shternbuch Says that anyone voting in the election is causing a huge Chillul Hashem "

Just last night I posted that because of the Gerer rebbe's opposition to this Kol Kora, they would revise it!

The Kol Korah read:

"Voters must vote exclusively for United Torah Judaism and that anyone who does not vote for Gimmel indirectly becomes a partner in a chillul Hashem and bears a very serious sin."

The Gerer Rebbe opposed it, because this letter implies that anyone voting for Shas is a Rasha and causing a Chillul Hashem!

However,  after getting a visit from the Viznitzer Rebbe, the Gerer Rebbe approved  the Kol Kora and it is now out and official!

Voting for any other party even for example Shas, is against the Torah and is a Chillul Hashem!

Which brings me to Harav Shernbuch, on October 22,2026, just last week, Rav Shternbuch announced that anyone voting for anyone is ":oiver an issur deo'riisah, and is causing a huge Chillul Hashem."

Rav Shternbuch כדרכו בקודש went a step further and wrote that anyone encouraging (Rav Landau, Rav Hirsch, Gerer Rebbe, Belzer Rebbe, and Viznitzer Rebbe) people to vote are a bunch of "Apikorsim and Meenim"

My question is:

What is a guy, a shomer Torah Umitzvois, a makir talmeidei Chachamim, supposed to do?

Well, you will probably say "why don't you ask your own rav?"

But therein is the problem, because my Rav that is encouraging people to go out and vote is according to Rav Shternbuch, an apikoras! Why would I listen to an apikoras?

My neighbor's Rav told his shul that to vote in the elections is equivalent to eating Chazir on Yom Kippur or Chumetz on Pesach, and causing a huge Chillul Hashem, and that according to my neighbor's Rav, my Rav is an apikoras!

What is a frum Jew to do??

The answer of course is, that this dispute amongst the "Gedoilim" is actually just a spark of a much larger issue, and this is actually why  thousands of Tanaim, disciples of Rabi Akiva died!

"מפני שלא נהגו כבוד זה לזה

The issue was not that they disagreed, but it was how they disagreed!

In fact in an earlier post: I quoted the following Poiskim that one should disagree if they feel that they are right, even if he is opposing a Gadol!

. As the Minchat Chinuch (Mitzvah 77) writes:

“If the great scholar states his opinion, and the lesser scholar has his own opinion and does not find the words of the great scholar convincing, he is certainly obligated to express his opinion and disagree with him. Otherwise, this constitutes a perversion of justice.”

(As is likewise explained in the writings of the Ran, Sanhedrin 46a, and Responsa of the Radbaz, Part I, Siman 308.)

It does not say, “He is permitted to disagree,” but rather, “He is obligated to express his opinion and disagree.” Moreover, one may not fear the intimidation of a rabbinic authority, in accordance with the Torah’s commandment: “You shall not be intimidated by any person.”

(As explained in Sanhedrin 6b, which also resolves the question raised by the Bach on Choshen Mishpat, end of Siman 9.)

The Torah demands that every individual bear full responsibility to use his intellect and judgment.

However where is the HETER for Rav Shernbuch, Rav Landau, Rav Hirsch, The Gerer, Belzer, Viznitzer Rebbes to state unequivocally that if you listen to the other Gedoilim than you are "Oiver an issur De'oriisah" "You are causing a huge Chillul Hahsem" and call other Gedoilim "Meenim & Apikorsim?"

I have gotten many comments over the years that I am disrespectful of other people with opposing viewpoints,

to them I say jokingly:

"People like me learn from the best, I learned from the Gedoiei Hador how to disagree with others .... to disparage, mock and ridicule others that disagree with me"

But seriously speaking, the question that everyone must ask themselves, does your opinions come from אהבת ישראל?

I have to say that before I write, post or comment, I do think very hard "where is this coming from?" is it coming from a place to try to change the status quo for the better, because deep down I love my fellow Jew? or Is it coming from a place of hate?

Those of you that know me personally, know that I have not an ounce of hate in my entire being, that I care for others, and this blog is to open the eyes of other Charedim that are frustrated with what our children are being taught in schools, and how their Roshei Yeshivas are pashut brainwashing them, and for them to know that they are not alone, that there are tens of thousands of the silent majority that think just like them, and to give them comfort as the saying goes, "misery loves company" I am trying very hard to touch someone's life in a positive way, to make change for the better, even one person at a time,  but to do that, one must confront the issues head on, and not sweep them under the rug!

I have very close friends, that totally disagree with my "hashkafa" and they tell it to me straight, but I love them nevertheless  בכל לבבי ובכל נפשי, and would drop everything and run to help them in any way I can.

I am not trying to pat my back, what I am trying to convey is that though my rhetoric sounds rough around the edges, I am saying it from deep love for every single Jew! Especially those who have yet to embrace Torah Umitzvois! Those who have yet to see the beauty of Yiddishkeit,

Throwing stones, stopping traffic, telling others that they are causing a Chillul Hashem if they listen to another Gadol, or disparaging another "gadol",  will never bring another Jew back to the fold, My blog is trying to reach those Jews who are Frum but look down on others who are not like them...and addressing those that love every Jew but don't have the answers to respond properly

The message of  "מפני שלא נהגו כבוד זה לזה should resonate with all of us!

There you have it!

Go out and vote!
