New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani on Wednesday welcomed Comptroller Mark Levine’s decision not to invest city funds in Israeli bonds, saying the city should not purchase bonds issued by any foreign government.
Asked by Jacob Kornbluh about a New York Times report on Levine’s decision, Mamdani said he supported the comptroller’s move.
