I enjoy your blog and often agree with you. On this point, however, I would have to politely disagree. Normal people do not speak the way the person in the video does. I don’t know, perhaps he is bipolar, if he sometimes sounds normal.
As for your comment suggesting that when Chareidim are embarrassed by someone, instead of confronting him they simply walk away and say, “Well, he’s deranged,” or that yeshivishe people who appear sane say similar things.Once we start stereotyping and assuming that all “Chareidim” are the same and that all “yeshivishe” people are the same and merely making excuses for nutcases, we might as well expand the category and say “all Jews.”
