Following the success of the Shlav Bet program, in which thousands of Charedi soldiers enlisted and made a meaningful contribution to the war effort, the IDF is now expanding the program and recruiting olim who were previously exempt due to age.
Recruits will complete a short training of about two weeks in the coming months , and will then be assigned to reserve duty in the 99th Division which has been operating in and around Gaza since the beginning of the war.
