Gezeiras Chinuch in England: The head of the largest yeshiva in Europe, Rabbi Avrohom Gurwicz of Gateshead Yeshiva, has warned the Orthodox community in the UK to leave if proposals to change the status of yeshivas become law. The bill would subject religious institutions to inspections and government oversight, which Rabbi Gurwicz says poses a "terrible danger" to the 75,000-strong Charedi group.
