 Egypt strongly condemned Israel’s approval of the death penalty law  for terrorists.

It should be noted that the death penalty is anchored in Egyptian law. 

According to Amnesty data, Egypt carried out at least 83 executions in 2021, and in 2024 Egyptian courts issued 504 death sentences, though not all were carried out.
