I am not at all surprised, the Holocaust is not taught in Yeshivois and they would never go to Yad Ve'shem. Their Roshei Yeshiva state during the 9 days that Jewish children in uniform are "murderers" and "rashaim" and curse Dati-Leumi Gedoilim that encourage learning Torah and serving.
They do not even recognize the State they live in, and the State that gives them benefits!
They do not believe that October 7 war was a war of defense, they believe "that Israel went to war to glorify the State!" A totally insane perspective! That shows total disconnect , ignorance and empathy of their own brethren that were raped, beheaded, burned and murdered,
So why should anybody be surprised when they say that they would prefer being in Auschwitz than enlisting! At the same time they make massive protests when one of the draft evaders goes to a Jewish prison.

According to ALL Gedoilim that experienced the concentration camps, this was the worse tragedy to have occurred to the Jewish people in its entire history and they are including the destruction of Bais Hamikdash!

DIN lies on so many levels. The last paragraph is also not true. Gedolim say Tach Vetat was worse than the Holocaust but don’t let DIN get confused by the simple math of proportions

Those "ketanim" that say "Tach Vetat" was worse than the Holocaust" are unmitigated liars.
The accepted historical estimate of how many Jews were murdered during the Tach Vetat is 100,000 whereas in the Holocaust was 6 million!
