Poor guy. Once he gives a get people will start suggesting shidduchim and then it will become public that he isn't really interested in women and was never really committed to living without a little m"z action on the side (or in the back). That's the cause of many of these drawn out get cases. The husband has nothing to gain and much to lose by being available again. Just one heteroguy's opinion.
Gay guys know how to deal with suggestions/ resumes. They respond that they are “seeing someone.” After almost a year, they just broke up with someone and they need to take a break from dating. The next year they date one woman once. This is their attempt to show you they are interested in getting married. Etc. Etc.
