I am a lubavitcher, really surprised so many are participating in this, it used to be a handful. So fanatic.

The Transubstantiation of the Host, in the Lubavitcher religion. But where are the matzah wafers to complete the transformation to the Rebbe’s last chulent and kishke meal?

From what I've read, 770 has become a mecca for these overt meshichists.

There used to be a website called JewsForMendel.com which had a picture of JC on the cross and the banner "Right idea, wrong guy!" and a link to Chabad.org

Funny thing. Moshiach, acording to Rambam, is supposed to do 3 things - fight the wars of the Jewish people, gather in the exiles and rebuild the Temple.
According to Lubavitch, their outreach campaign to the non-religious is the war of the Jewish people against assimilation. It was the Rebbe's prayers and spiritual influence that brought down the Soviet Union which allowed the Russian Jews to return to Israel. And 770 is the Beis HaMikdash and when the Rebbe returns, it will transport itself to the Har HaBayis and transform into the final structure.
In other words, the Rebbe fulfilled 0/3 of the criteria.
Meanwhile the secular David Ben Gurion did fight the wars of the Jewish people to restore independence in Israel, and did handle the ingathering of the exile as millions of Jews left Europe and the Middle East to come home. In other words, 2/3. Which is 2 more than the other guy. Good for the Zionists!

Bottom line: It's harmelss and they enjoy it.

Ummm…no. It’s harmful - in so many ways - to the participants themselves, to Chabad, and more. Encouraging delusional behaviors is never good.

Not supporting idiotic chabadskers;but that's more of this crowds' settling for pyrite

They're not rioting. They're not lying around in the street homeless and drug addicted. They have a foolish belief. That's not a harmful thing.
