I am not a fan of Lapid I think that he is a disaster.

Friedlander in the above clip taken from his column, totally dismisses a disgusting incident in Beit Shemesh where a Chareidie adult spat at "seven-year-old girl" on her way to school, and wrote that this incident "has not been confirmed."
What an unmitigated liar!
First of all, she was not "seven years old" she was eight years old, her name is Naama Margolis.

In over 40 years of being observant, I see new "halochos" being manufactured and enforced with hatred "Talibanic Judaism" and "Chumra of the month club" come to mind. This is not religious zeal but religious decay.

Number one.. there are strict "libel" laws in Israel if this story wasn't true he would have sued Channel 12, BBC and the Margoles family. And it's not like these extremists don't sue the Zionist Government because they don't recognize them, they sue on a daily basis; they are always in court suing.
Number two.. I lived around the corner from where this happened, and this was not the first and only incident. They spat and cursed on a daily basis. Mrs. Margoles was the first to publicize this. She did in fact report this to police but the police refused to deal with this as they are busy with these parasites 24/7, and so she decided to publicize this.
Just last week, these same guys came to Ramat Alef to spit and curse at the Yarmut Park because the town decided to have a display of EMT & police vehicles as a fun demonstration to the children
