I see you have no place for me to contact you, so a comment- which really is not specific to this blog post- is the best I can do. I just wanted to let you know that inasmuch as you may think what you think, not everything one thinks should be spoken, nor what one speaks to be written, nor what one writes to be published (even on a blog.) Your views are not what I am coming to dispute (though it is probably quite obvious from this post that I disagree quite strongly with your attitude, which does not allow the plain truth to come forward.) I am coming to tell you that if you choose a certain opinion, you should shy away from publishing it as fact without giving fair credence to the facts and even the other side of the story. This is how real debate goes- just casting down and debasing isn't convincing and is rather immature. I wish you well and that we should all be zocheh to a true and proper outlook on all matters.
i tried to contact you directly, but couldn't figure out how to do it, so here goes.....By now it is no secret of the sexual molestation allegations of Marissa Trachtenberg, a far Rockaway native, as her arrest was made public, and several news blogs reported it; failed messiah, jewish community watch.... Furthermore, it has been discussed on various radio shows, during which numerous callers reported abuse by the alleged perp.
Most disturbing however, is the fact the 'assemblyman' phil goldfeder swept it under the rug, following numerous call to his office by the victims and their parents, seeking his help in bringing the alleged perp, HIS constituent, to justice.
In direct contrast to Dov Hikind, who pursues these matters endlessly, Goldfeder chose to completely ignore these callers' request for help, instead deferring them to a low-level employee, with the IQ of a horse, with due respect to horses.
What is most repulsive, is that any opportunity to represent himself as a do-gooder advocate for his community, is never missed, as is evident by all of the local publications. He spoke at TAG's (the local Beis Yaakov) graduation about his trip to Oklahoma following their tornado, and in the 5 Towns, following sandy, etc. Or any other opportunity to present himself as a velt's tsaddik.
He aligned himself with Tom Suozzi in his re-election campaign; Suozzi was told of this disgraceful behavior, and told to distance himself from him, lest his reputation go down with Goldfeder's.
I want the community to know, that this story will be going public shortly, with EVERY SINGLE newspaper in NYC getting wind of this. It will be another abomination to the orthodox community, and to his family.
When he runs for re-election, if he doesn't get pushed out of office by this scandal, ALL of his co-candidates will find out about this, as I will arrange for interviews with the victims and their parents.
I thought that you may want to know this, as your news outlet represents one of the only 'truth-in-reporting' medias the orthodox community can claim to have.
Goldfeder is a self-promoting phony, attention-whore, whose interests are nothing more than selfish, and comprised exclusively of self-aggrandizement.
He and all of the Rabbis that promote and support him will be exposed.
