'Iranian Warships SWARM US Navy Vessels During Tense Stand-Off in Persian Gulf'
An Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps warship conducted “unsafe and unprofessional” manoeuvres near two US Coast Guard ships in the Persian Gulf earlier this month. A video released by the US Navy showed a tense encounter between a ship commanded by Iran’s paramilitary Revolutionary Guard and the Coast Guard patrol boat USCGC Monomoy on April 2. According to the Navy, during the encounter, the Iranian vessel cut in front of the Monomoy, forcing the ship to make “defensive” manoeuvres to avoid a collision.THANKS SO MUCH,, IT MEANS THE WORLD TO US IN THESE DIFFICULT TIME
So which is it: Should we trust Iran or not?
John Kerry is the biggest proponent of the nuclear deal with Iran. We can believe that country to abide by its provisions, he says.
Yet when Iran Foreign Minister Javad Zarif said that Kerry had revealed to him the fact that Israel had conducted 200 airstrikes in Syria, the Biden official bristled. Zarif was lying.
“I can tell you that this story and these allegations are unequivocally false,” Kerry said in a statement. “This never happened when I was secretary of state or since.”
To be sure, the likeliest scenario remains that John Forbes Kerry is guilty of doing exactly what Zarif claims he did. But let’s engage in a little thought experiment: Let’s say Zarif made the whole thing up and the underlying leaked recording was part of a cynical Islamic Republic disinformation operation to create more “daylight” between two of Tehran’s greatest adversaries, the “Big Satan” of America and the “Little Satan” of Israel.
In this hypothetical scenario, it is not Kerry who is the bald-faced liar — it is Zarif. But in that case, why in the world is Team Biden currently prostrating itself in Vienna before the world’s No. 1 state sponsor of terrorism, with Zarif himself as that No. 1 state sponsor of terrorism’s leading diplomat, in the quixotic hopes of securing a “longer and stronger” nuclear deal?
As a matter of pure logic, that is sheer lunacy. The 2015 nuclear deal was a house of cards built on the myriad lies of the Iranian regime and its henchmen. Those lies were downplayed and willfully ignored by Team Obama’s zealous ideologues. And if Zarif is willing to lie as part of a crudely calculated disinformation operation, why in the world — other than genuinely malicious, fifth-column intentions — would American diplomats trust him with securing a new nuclear accord?
President Biden, you have to choose. Either Iran officials are truthful, and Kerry is awful and needs to go. Or Iranian officials are liars, in which case, there should be no deal.

Convicted lawmaker Chaim Deutsch was expelled from the City Council Tuesday by Speaker Corey Johnson, just days after he pleaded guilty to federal charges of cheating on his taxes.
“Based on our review of the charging document and Mr. Chaim Deutsch’s plea agreement, the Council has concluded that the office of the 48th Council District has been vacated under the operation of law,” said Johnson, in a terse statement released in the evening.
“Mr. Deutsch confessed to a crime and violated his oath of office,” Johnson continued. “He is no longer a member of the City Council.”
The conservative Democrat stunned the Council and City Hall last week when he confessed to evading more than $82,000 in property tax between 2013 and 2015 — and then declared he would not resign in spite of the plea deal.
Johnson said Deutsch’s actions “betrayed the public trust” and demanded his resignation — a call that Mayor Bill de Blasio later joined.
The charges originated from a joint probe by the city Department of Investigation, the federal IRS and federal prosecutors in Manhattan.
Deutsch would have been forced to leave office at the end of the year under the city’s term-limits law.
His district covers a swath of southern Brooklyn, including portions of Gravesend, Homecrest, Brighton Beach and Manhattan Beach.
A spokeswoman for the Council said the seat will remain empty until a replacement is elected in November.

Times are changing, and Lakewood population is changing....children need an outlet..the Lakewood Roshei Yeshiva will learn soon that if they don't change their attitude quickly they will lose more children to the fast growing OTD communities......they seem to be out of touch to what's going on ...
Three of the Lakewood Roshei Yeshiva have banned a separate seating concert in Lakewood scheduled for Friday, Lag Baomer. The event was to have singer Benny Friedman perform as well as a storyteller.
Interestingly, an event to be held on Lag Baomer night — scheduled to be held in the same exact location — was not banned.
That event was being hosted by “Minyan Shelanu” of Lakewood.
The letter reads in part: “our community has a longstanding policy that disallows concerts in the city of Lakewood, since it is a form of entertainment that runs contrary to the spirit of Torah scholars and greatly undermines the Torah atmosphere of our community….
“Running any event in the First Energy / Blue Claws Stadium is itself a serious breach of our community’s policies. Since the stadium’s opening, a stringent ‘fence’ has been established: not to enter or make use of the stadium for any purpose – whether for a sporting event or for a privately run program…
“a concert in Lakewood, and in particular in this stadium, is an unprecedented breach of our community’s policies, which is likely to initiate a far-reaching erosion of Lakewood’s unique Torah atmosphere. We therefore urge parents not to bring their children to this event, nor to support it or participate in any way.”

Authorities in Israel said this morning that numerous fake entry permits have been confiscated on a daily basis, as unscrupulous individuals are taking advantage of those desperate to visit Israel by selling them fabricated paperwork for upwards of $3-500.
When those possessing these fake papers arrive at Ben Gurion Airport, they have no chance of being allowed entry into the country, as all names of those who have received legitimate entry permits are contained in an electronic database. Once one’s passport number is entered into the computer, the jig is up.
“It’s just not worth it,” said Rabbi Nechemia Malinowitz of the Igud hayeshivos this morning. “You’ll be wasting your time and money, and you’ll be sent right back from where you came.”
Indeed, those with fraudulent permits are being sent right back to their country of origin on the next available flight – on their dime.
So besides for being rejected entry, they’ve wasted money on a round-trip flight to Israel.
To compound matters, anyone caught with a fake entry permit is being banned from entering Israel for a period of five years – no exceptions.
Unfortunately, it has become virtually impossible to track down the sources of the fake permits, because they are being sold in multiple cities and multiple locations in the Diaspora. So rather than focusing on those who are dispensing this fallacious papers, the focus right now is on informing unwitting travelers to be cautious and to ensure that their entry permits are authentic.
“It doesn’t take much to fake an entry permit,” . “It’s a question of taking an existing permit and changing the name and numbers. But upon entry to Israel, there’s no way to get by the security apparatus.”

A 1,600-year-old mosaic uncovered in Yavne, which archaeologists said may have once graced a mansion in an affluent neighborhood, is set to go on display in the central city, the Israel Antiquities Authority announced Monday.
The multicolored mosaic flooring dated to the Byzantine era (4th-5th century CE) was unearthed during excavations and was initially thought to be plain white due to a patina coating.
The mosaic was cleaned using special acid “and to our astonishment, a colorful mosaic carpet was revealed, ornamented with geometric motifs.”
The archaeologists said it was the first time that flooring of this type had been discovered in Yavne, and it “may have been part of a splendid residential building in a wealthy neighborhood adjacent to the industrial zone.”
This past Friday, an 8 year-old boy went out of his house, in Toms River, with his bike and didn't return. After his parents reported him missing, a massive search was performed by the local organizations such as Hatzala etc, but couldn't find him anywhere.
He suddenly showed up hours later, totally naked like the day he was born. When questioned, he remained stoic and wouldn't respond. Police could not get any answers from him and the investigation continues.
What's interesting is that the Lakewood Scoop, a Lakewood blog removed the entire story from its website, without any explanations.

New York City endured its bloodiest week so far this year, as gun violence continues to soar ahead of what could be another violent summer.
NYPD data shows 50 people were shot in 46 separate incidents over a seven-day period ending Sunday evening — a more than 250 percent surge from the same week in 2020.
Last year, the NYPD says it logged 12 shootings with 14 victims during the same time — more than a month into the city’s COVID-19 lockdown, according to the weekly Compstat data.
But the same week in 2019 saw nearly identical figures.
This weekend alone recorded nearly two dozen shootings to cap off the violent week, according to police.
The nearly year-long trend in gunplay began last spring as New Yorkers grappled with the first wave of COVID-19.
Mayor Bill de Blasio has repeatedly chalked up the troubling surge to a “perfect storm”of variables caused by the pandemic — including a court slowdown — despite evidence to the contrary.
The shootings, however, have shown no signs of slowing even as the city and state slowly reopen.
So far this year, 376 shootings have been reported with 416 victims, according to NYPD data.
The mayor announced his policing plan to curb the gun violence last week, but nearly all of the measures were implemented in 2020, including the “Summer All Out” initiativethat failed to slow a months-long surge in shootings.
One Bronx cop slammed the mayor for touting gun arrests amid the shootings spike.
“The mayor talks about record gun arrests — the only record we will have this year is record shootings,” the cop told The Post.
Over the last two weeks, gun arrests were down compared to last year.

An internal survey of battleground congressional seats from the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) found Republicans are poised to take back the House in the upcoming midterm elections.
The April battleground survey also found House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) is the most unpopular politician in the country. Previously, the NRCC’s February polling found Pelosi was the most unpopular politician with a 41 percent favorable and a 52 percent unfavorable rating. This month, Pelosi’s image dropped to 38 percent favorable and 56 percent unfavorable.
Additionally, the survey also found Pelosi hits 60 perfect unfavorable in “Trump/Democratic districts.” According to the NRCC press release, “Democrats in these districts are going to have an uphill battle defending their decisions to vote in lockstep with Pelosi’s socialist agenda.”
The survey was conducted between April 18-21. It consisted of 1,000 voters across 85 Battleground Congressional Districts and included an oversample in 16 ticket-splitting districts. Polling was conducted 65 percent over a cell phone, 15 percent from a landline, and 20 percent online.

The rather curious defining feature of Democratic Party foreign policy, going back at least four decades, is that our friends must be bullied and our enemies must be appeased.
The Democratic worldview holds that America is a source of geopolitical evil whose destructive influences must be tamed and reined in, and that America’s enemies must be emboldened in order to tilt the global playing field away from America’s noxious ambit.
Barack Obama’s administration encapsulated this toxic ideology through its single-minded pursuit of a nuclear accord with the world’s No. 1 state sponsor of terrorism during the president’s lame-duck second term. Many of the leading hucksters who comprised Team Obama’s “negotiators” with Tehran — Wendy Sherman, Robert Malley, and Colin Kahl among them — are now reprising their roles during Uncle Joe Biden’s third Obama term.
No individual personified the Obama Bros’ supine tango with the mullahs better than then-Secretary of State John Kerry. Kerry, the “statesman” who has been on the wrong side of every major foreign affairs issue since at least the Swift Boats of Vietnam, betrayed his country in borderline-treasonous fashion as Obama’s chief diplomatic lackey. Not content to sell the farm — and scores of unmarked pallets of U.S. taxpayer cash — to a mullocracy with untold American blood on its hands as a diplomat,
Kerry then traitorously colluded as a layman with his pal, Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif, to undermine the Trump administration’s “maximum pressure” Iran containment strategy.
Alas, we now know it is apparently even worse.
New leaked audio appears to reveal that Kerry, now Team Biden’s special climate envoy, divulged to Zarif the details of over 200 clandestine Israeli military operations taken against Iranian targets in Syria. One might be loath to take on blind faith the claims of a thug like Zarif, but in this case the shoe fits. This is who John Forbes Kerry is — who he always has been, and always will be.
And if confirmed, what an utter, shambolic disgrace it is. The man who was then serving as America’s leading diplomat on the global stage betrayed our Israeli allies with reckless abandon, opting instead to buttress a rogue jihadist state and its barbarous Syrian satrapy. Rational American allies the world over will respond to this perfidy by trusting the U.S. much less with sensitive military intelligence. And for what end, other than the perverse, self-serving satisfaction of Team Obama’s “echo chamber” miscreants?
The American Left frequently responds with bemusement or defiance when it is accused of harboring a barely concealed anti-American animus. With this latest example of the full depth of leftist anti-Israel zealotry and pro-Iran sycophancy, perhaps liberals will respond next time with less confusion. In the interim, John Kerry has helped solidify his odious legacy as a dunderhead par excellence, at best — and a traitorous anti-Western ideologue, at worst.

You can see these meshugaim around Yerushalayim especially in Geula and also in front of Mir Yeshiva..they wear helmets for some reason
Well one of the storekeepers in Geulah, who is a very familiar face in Geulah, a veteran Yerushalmie ....had enough; I guess he was trying to take a nap..these crazies with the signs were disturbing his afternoon nap, and so he ran out to stop them..it didn't end well ..

The Kids Neuro Clinic and Rehab Center, Dubai, on Sunday announced further groundbreaking findings of a new research study on the treatment of autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in younger children.
The results have been published in the international, peer-reviewed journal, Children.
This is the first report in the medical literature of a treatment approach that can result in the complete resolution of ASD core signs and symptoms in very young children. The report describes Dr. Alsayouf’s highly personalized treatment protocol comprising pharmacological medications combined with standard supportive therapies for children aged less than 4 years old, for whom behavioral interventions have not been successful.
The first study to describe a potential treatment for autism in children of 4 years and older using Dr. Alsayouf’s treatment protocol was published in Neuropsychiatric Disease and Treatment in November 2020.

“Shark Tank” investor Daymond John is taking heat over a since-deleted tweet praising the remarks delivered by controversial religious leader Louis Farrakhan at DMX’s funeral on Sunday.
“What a powerful speech from Minister Louis Farrakhan for the #dmxfuneral,” John wrote on the social media site.
“His deep understanding of the Bible and respect for other people’s religions was truly inspiring. #RIPDMX,” the Brooklyn-born FUBU founder continued.
Commenters quickly called out John for his support of Farrakhan, pointing to his checkered past.
“Wait, what? He’s made dozens of anti-Semitic statements,” one user wrote.
Another Twitter commenter said: “Respect for other religions? He’s a vicious antisemite and seems proud of it.”
“This is absolutely sickening. Unreal,” said a third person.
Later Sunday, John deleted the post and sent out a follow-up statement in an attempt to clarify his comments.
“In regards to my tweet regarding DMXs funeral, my comments on Minister Farrakhan were only related to what I just witnessed tonight, unbeknownst to his prior stances,” John wrote.
“As someone who was fortunate enough to have a step dad of the Jewish faith, I do not condone and never would condone and anti Semitic, prejudice or any remarks of hatred,” he said.
In decades of public life, Farrakhan has attacked Jewish people as “satanic,” publicly questioned the Holocaust and condemned Judaism as a “dirty religion.”
On Sunday, Farrakhan spoke via video at DMX’s private funeral service, touching on the legendary rapper’s global influence.
“DMX is who he was and who he is, and the reason he has affected the people in the hip-hop genre and human beings across the globe is because he was genuine,” Farrakhan said.

It’s no secret that as Senate Majority Leader and senior senator from New York, Charles Schumer is a man whose time is not easy to pin down. But, putting down his trademark “flip phone” for a while, Senator Schumer made himself available, between votes and phone calls from senators, to present at a webinar held by Agudath Israel’s Yeshiva Services department on the topic of the funds and resources made available to Americans, and particularly relevant to the Orthodox Jewish community by the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA).
Nearly 150 people participated in the call. From stimulus checks, to security grants, to money for yeshivas, Senator Schumer explained the details of each of the programs, stressing how important it is that these programs be known and utilized. The Majority Leader also committed to continue working to ensure that federal and state guidelines make the funds as accessible as possible to yeshivas, shuls and other community charities.
Ms. Christina Coughlin, Assistant Commissioner of the New York State EducationDepartment, also joined the webinar to explain in detail what reimbursements and funds are available to nonpublic schools and yeshivas in New York State, and how the schools should proceed to get them. “We appreciate all the work that Assistant Commissioner Coughlin does for the yeshivos and other nonpublic schools on a regular basis and thank her for taking the time to address the schools and answer our questions,” said Rabbi Yehoshua Pinkus, director of Agudah’s Yeshiva Services.
Mr. Shlomo Werdiger, Chairman of Agudah’s Board of Trustees had warm words for the senator. “We thank Senator Schumer for taking time out of his busy schedule as Senate Majority Leader to join us and are extremely grateful to him for fighting for the interests of yeshivas and nonpublic schools, shuls and nonprofits.” Rabbi Chaim Dovid Zwiebel, Agudah’s Executive Vice President, who chaired the session, added, “What Senator Schumer did in moving this legislation forward and securing $2.75 billion dollars for non public schools was absolutely unprecedented and he deserves a world of credit.”

New information has been revealed about the shocking case of an English-speaking Chareidi family who integrated into the English-speaking Chareidi community in French Hill as well as the broader religious community in Jerusalem, and was revealed on Sunday to be Christian missionaries, B’Chadrei Chareidim reported.
The father, Michael, even learned in the past in the Kollel of the Mekubal HaRav Banyahu Shmueli, but following the intervention of anti-missionary figures, he was kicked out of the Kollel.
Meanwhile, Michael was born to a Christian family from New Jersey. His father, William Thomas Elk, who died in 2006, was a member of the Friendship Mennonite Church in Carneys Point, New Jersey. In the past, he taught Christianity in Seattle and presided at Christian weddings.
Currently, Michael works at a gym in Jerusalem that is affiliated with a Christian organization and has reportedly tried to spread Christianity there.
Michael was already investigated by anti-missionary figures six years ago and even admitted to being a missionary but promised to halt all his activities. Since his identity has been known to some for years, including the Yad L’Achim organization and the anti-missionary Beyneynu organization, it’s hard to understand how the family ended up successfully integrating into the community in French Hill but that’s exactly what happened.
Michael presented himself as a Kohen, wrote Tefillin and mezuzos and his children were accepted to Chareidi schools. The story began unraveling only in the past month or two, following the untimely death of the mother from cancer. The community rallied to the family’s side and raised tens of thousands of dollars for them.
The Beyneynu organization said that they have been investigating the case for a long time and were about to reveal the story in the next several days but meanwhile one of the children slipped at school and the whole story blew up.
The 13-year-old daughter of the family [whose Bas Mitzvah was made with community assistance while the mother was fighting cancer], recently told her friend at school that “Jesus accepts everyone. Even if you made a mistake, he’ll accept you.” The shocked classmate told her parents and they immediately began investigating and contacting those who know the family.
Shannon Nuszen of Beyneynu, who specializes in tracking missionaries who disguise themselves as Jews, said that their case has been known for years. In 2014, they discovered the family trying to be “mekareiv” Jews to Jesus on social media networks. They confronted the father, Michael and he admitted that he’s a missionary but he promised to halt all of his missionary activities. The organization continued to track him but one day completely lost track of him. Meanwhile, he and his family had moved to French Hill and begun integrating into the community.
Nuszen said that the children were partners in everything. They knew they were Christians and they played the game well but last week, as mentioned above, one of the girls mentioned Jesus by mistake.
Nuszen explained that before publicizing the story, they were obligated to ensure that all the facts were 100% correct. “We can’t inculpate an entire family of being missionaries without scrutinizing every detail first – it can cause damage to future generations. So we consulted with Rabbanim and askanim, we examined their roots, and we revealed the truth.”
She also said that “our information shows that there is no sign or proof that the family has Jewish roots. If Michael claims otherwise, he should prove it together with a permit from the Interior Ministry. We don’t have access to the computers of the Interior Ministry. They have no proof that they’re Jews while we have proof that they’re non-Jews.”
The mother, who was also proven to have no Jewish origins, passed away from cancer before Purim and was buried on Har HaMenuchos with a full Jewish funeral.
A statement from Beyneynu says that for more information, please contact Shannon Nuszen, Beyneynu- 058-405-3533 or shannon@beyneynu.com. Rav Avi Elbaz of French Hill is also involved in the case.
