A homeless woman was arrested on Wednesday for the hammer attack on two Asian women in Hell’s Kitchen earlier this month, police said.
Ebony Jackson, 37, was charged with assault, criminal possession of a weapon and menacing in the chilling May 4th incident, cops said.
The victims were walking on 42nd Street near 9th Avenue at around 8:40 p.m. when the stranger approached them and yelled “Take off your mask!”
She then allegedly swung a hammer at the women, hitting one of them on the left side of the face, according to the NYPD.
The 31-year-old victim suffered a gash on her forehead and was treated at NYU Langone Hospital.

Last week a NYC Shvartza was walloping a Chinese woman, screaming "cat eater" at her.
Shvartzas do have a problem when a lot of the Brothas are felled. They are disproportionately dropping dead from the virus due to their immunocompromises & not adhering to safety measures. They know where the virus originated & that China was negligent if not malicious. So as far as the Shvartzas are concerned, there is gonna be Hell to pay by the Chinks, and if someone non-Chinese looks the same, well heck, a little collateral damage is no big deal.
Something similar happened after 9/11. The Shvartzas were furious that so many fellow Shvartz service workers were toast because Arabs rammed jetliners into Downtown Manhattan. For the next year, when a NYC Shvartza ran into an Arab or Pakki, there was usually fireworks with screaming & physical assault. Many taxi drivers especially were injured that way. The Shvartzas were also running vehicles off the road if the occupants were visibly Arab. The off-roading however was also being done all over the country by angry Veisseh. And there were Arab targets galore as the Arabs were avoiding airports then, terrified of 16 hour interrogations & having their bags torn apart by Federal agents.
A left wing newspaper wrote a silly bleeding borscht article about Arabs having a hard time in airport security of the post-9/11 world. They interviewed some chamora who fumed she's so angry, she could "just explode".
The Wall St Journal editorial page then gave a hilarious dig to these Leftie journos, that well yes! Come to think of it, that's exactly what law enforcement & the public are scared of!
