עד מתי יהיה זה לנו למוקש
We have been posting about the atrocities that Skver has deliberately perpetuated at their neighbors to make sure that the areas around New Skver are "Judenrein" since 2017!
Way back in 2014, The New Square Bais Din begged Jews Not to buy houses within 1 mile of New Square to keep the "Shtetel" holy, apparently Jews that don't belong to Skver will contaminate their "Uganda Shtetel"
The Bais Din wrote then in a Kol Korah, that "if the surrounding Jewish communities were to spread even further towards New Square , to the point of reaching the parameters of New Square, the "blurring of our borders would defeat the founding purpose of the shtetl."
The problem is that as Monsey grows the price of housing goes up as well, so young couples are constantly looking for new areas for affordable housing! The area immediately bordering New Square has become an area where young families starting moving to, to establish a vibrant Frum community where housing was still affordable!
But the Skverer Rebber issued a "Fatwa" and instituted a one-mile perimeter around his Shtetel to keep Jews out but Goyim in!! Just like in Gaza!
To make sure every Jew in the world keeps in line and doesn't move into the neighboring areas, Skver starting buying homes from Goyim, not to live in them, chas ve'sholom, but to rent them out to Latinos!
But not stam "Latinos" they stuff multiple Latino families into homes zoned for one-family dwellings! On Shabbos they play loud music and their wives and daughters come out barely dressed to party, making it impossible for the Frum Families to let their children outside on Shabbos!
The community has now organized to fight this disgusting Skver initiative, but are first attempting to do this in a nice way!
What is really interesting is that Skver is building a multi-million $ Bais Medrish and started a campaign to "schnoor" from the entire Frum World, the Community is asking every single Jew with a heart not to give them one cent until they can come to a mutual agreement!
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Rockland Communities Call for Transparency and Fairness in Housing Practices
Rockland County, NY – A coalition of thriving frum communities near New Square is raising serious concerns about the housing acquisition tactics employed by the New Square kehilla. In an open letter to donors of Shekel Hakodesh, the Ichud Kehillos of Rockland is urging financial supporters to withhold funds from New Square’s institutions until these aggressive housing practices are halted.
According to the letter, New Square’s leadership has been systematically purchasing homes in nearby neighborhoods and overcrowding them with unseemly tenants. The goal, the coalition alleges, is to intimidate existing residents and force them out in an effort to maintain New Square’s isolation from other Jewish communities.
“This is a Chilul Hashem, contrary to Halacha, and the opposite of Darchei Shalom. All we want is to live in peace,” the letter states. “We have not bothered a single member of their community, yet we are being harassed.”
The Ichud Kehillos of Rockland emphasize that their intent is not to harm the New Square community but to ensure fair housing practices that align with both civil law and Halacha. They highlight that an estimated $50 million has been tied up in these controversial real estate transactions—funds they argue could be put to far better use.
As a result, the coalition is calling on donors to demand a written commitment from New Square’s leadership that homes will no longer be purchased with the intent of keeping frum Jews out of certain neighborhoods, nor will properties be bought or rented in violation of legal standards.
“We respectfully ask you to take action on our behalf and stand up for what’s right,” the letter concludes.

@New Square you should be ashamed of yourselves for letting this go too far. I’ve been to a few of these wonderful communities and they are terrific people and Yidden that have done no wrong to you. Hope you do Teshuva on this quickly before they push the gas on the legal route.
ReplyDeleteI moved into Rockland in 1987 and now they say it is in their inclusion (exclusion) zone what about we all agree to move out and have all their chassidim move in and give us their homes that are outside the zone including their mosdos and not allow them to take students from outside the zone
ReplyDeleteI think that this might make it fair or it will show the hypocrisy of them
Trying to understand what "Skver" is doing differently than those Families that moved into the neighborhood. How do they "destroy their neighborhood" by renting out apartments to other people not in line with them?
ReplyDeleteI'm not familiar with the exact details of the story but as of my understanding new square has been telling everyone for years that they will make problems for anyone that buys next to them..
ReplyDeleteDidn't the homeowners in the area knew about that before they bought the property?
Whether the "homeowners knew about this " in advance is irrelevant! No Jew has a right to tell another Jew not to move next to him, period! You yourself sees nothing wrong with Skver " telling everyone for years that they will make problems for anyone that buys next to them..?" You see nothing wrong with that?
DeleteIsn't that exactly what the Arabs are telling Jews? That a Jew cannot live in East Yerushlayim? That a Jew cannot live in Chevron? That a Jew cannot live in Gaza?
You see nothing wrong with that?
I suggest you check your "yichus" it was the Nazis that first had this policy of "Judenrein"
If I may add - while it’s true NS did put out one letter several years back asking/urging people not to move within the mile.. Word on the street was they were afraid of the lines being blurred amongst different sects of Chassidim but could care less if Litvishe people moved in. For some unknown reason they went from buying random houses - which wasn’t appreciated but could be tolerated - to over the last couple of years aggressively fighting for every house often well beyond the scope of normalcy (e.g. bidding up to absurd prices, bribing or intimidating people involved in the deal etc. etc.). Maybe they got more scared when Heimishe families started moving in as well. Who knows, but either way you are 100% correct that it’s irrelevant and they should put a stop to these practices and clean up their act so they can fix their reputation and move on to more important things in life.
DeleteWho is the Ichud? Do they have a vaad harabbonim?
ReplyDeleteYou no like? Vee can meet for "drinks", as in Molotov Cocktail!
ReplyDeleteseems like it's still a cult ...what happened to the arson case from a few years ago?Just wondering how do they have so much money??? Besides paying for the houses, the taxes in Rockland keep increasing to absurd numbers...Also, are the Latinos legal? call ICE to investigate.

ReplyDeleteWhy do you need a "vaad harabbonim?"
Do you need rabbanim to tell you that it is prohibited to eat treif?
Do you need a "vaad harabbanim" to tell Skver that there is a מצוה עשה דאורייתא of ואהבת לרעך כמוך ?
What chutzpah to prohibit another Jew to move nearby? For that I need a rabbi to tell me that? Are you insane?
Skver has and still uses dangerous intimidaton tactics for control of its people, remember the fire? Well, there's loads more Crazy crazy stories and not from a hundred years ago. But from right now! Which Rabbis will put their name on a paper like this???
ReplyDeleteYes, many Rabanim in Monsey are part of the vaad for the Ichud and unfortunately can not put names.
To put a name on it, the fire insurance is going to be too great of a cost.

ReplyDeleteWhat is ironic, is that Skver does have a Bais Din and do have Rabbanim, yet these very rabbanim allow this to go on, allowing their chassidim to flagrantly violate local laws to stuff single-family homes with multiple families, and worse, stuffing them with the worst elements on purpose to intimidate and harass Jewish people!
In Skver they are building a brand new Bais Ha'midesh while at the exact time destroying the lives of fellow Jews living across the street!
If they have problems living peacefully with neighbors in New York, send them to Arkansas, where their buddies Hillary And Bill Clinton are from. Or maybe to Guatemala, to be with Lev Tomei. Maybe they are not as different from Lev Tomei as people think.
ReplyDeleteSkver has an unbelievable program to help sick people in hospitals called "Chesed 24/7" there isn't a hospital in New York that doesn't benefit from them.
ReplyDeleteYet!
Here they have healthy families living across the street and all they do is try their best to destroy their lives. I don't get it.
This reminds me of when the Gotti Crime Family made sure that their neighbors in Ozone Park Queens were well taken care of with constant parties and portable Amusement Parks for the kids, while at the same time having no compunctions about taking someone's life.
I am making a comparison because the Chareidie Hashkafois that focus on the soul and according to them, killing a Jew like the Nazis did or cutting off peyis of children like the Zionists did, is the same. Their Torah philosophy is that Zionists are no better than the Nazis, just one physically killed them and the other killed them spiritually.
The Gottis killed physically and Skver is killing their Jewish neighbors spiritually by bringing in the worst elements to destroy their spiritual souls, destroying their Shabbasim and Yomim Tovim. Only a low life would do something like this.
Chesed 24/7 is a wonderful project started by a Skver family. It has no connection whatsoever with Skver and is not funded by them in any way.
DeleteNaive Modern Orthodox like R. Efrem Goldberg of BRS in FL praise New Square, go to the leader there for blessings. Others like D. Zwiebel of Agudah kowtow to the head of Skeverer. How naive can people be? Maybe people can start picketing at the entrance to New Square when such outsiders come.
ReplyDeleteOh man! Don’t tell me DIN wants to revive the New Hempstead blog now??!!
ReplyDeleteI suspect that "Rabbi Morris Goldman", West Orange, NJ is a fictitious character. Don't fall for it. Ask someone from there if they know such a person. Seems quite fishy.
ReplyDeleteAnyone have Tom Homan #
ReplyDeleteCaveat emptor
ReplyDeleteI checked out his name before I posted and knew that it was fictitious but someone did write that letter and that letter had to be addressed!
To Mordechai
You sued my blog "New Hempstead News" for defamation and the Rockland Judge threw out the entire case after I presented evidence!
Send my best to Michelle ;)
