No surprise especially after rabbonim spoke to PCK administrator Rabbi Auerbach about an idol that the Asians put at the front counter & he REFUSED to do ANYTHING about it.
I'm so confused. recently the comment boards are filled with stuff nothing to do with the article or post. Can someone please explain? Does DIN need to make a separate forum?

My girlfriend does both. She bakes up a delicious potato kugel from a secret recipe that is part of the same mesora that authenticates only the braekel chicken and considers as unkosher all other varieties. She tells me she has the mesora ingredients from her grandmother who obtained it from Satmar Yoel Teitelbaum’s grandmother. All others are chazir treif. She also keeps me happy by doing her keegil exercises which is a Mesora that she got from an advertisement in Yoel Teitlebaum’s Der Yid Zionist hating newspaper. Nothing is better on a Friday night than a Mesora Kugel followed by the implementtion of a long Mesora Keegil. Or is that kegel?
What’s so disgusting about my Kugel/Keegil Mesora? It’s a Mesora! It’s as valid as Satmar’s “Three Oaths” Mesora baloney. I also employ a Lubavitcher Mesora to get my girlfriend into the keegil mood. Right after we eat our Mesora Kugel, I wave a $1 dollar bill in front of her to get her in the mood for the Keegil Mesora. BTW, I ventured onto your website and after perusing a few paragraphs, concluded that using your logic and theorization ,mankind would have had trouble inventing the wheel.
Thanks for your plaudits. But this Shabbos was not an especially amorous one for me. My girlfriend didn’t have time to bake the Mesora Kugel and I refused to eat one that my girlfriend bought with an OU hashgacha because it didn’t have the Satmar Mesora. To make matters worse, she spent the entire Friday evening at a friends new-fangled Sholom Nekayva — a recently discovered Mesora found in a Geniza under the floorboards of the Satmar shul in Williamsburg, Brooklyn NY. I was looking forward to a nice keegil but these new Mesoras are taking a toll on my Keegils and Kugels. I told her to go back to the old Mesora.
Ah, Gut Voch Abe, my friend. Yes, I apologize. It was a bit far, though -- however, possibly could be seen as amusing to some. By the way, libid* is certainly permitted -- just needs to be used properly, Be"H.

“What makes you think that about my blog? Not saying I'm a great scholar here or even learned, anyway, but...”
You need not be a scholar or learned to display plausibility in your comments.
For instance, you say: the Jewish year 5597, a powerful earthquake destroyed a lot of the city of Tzefas. HaRav Shmuel Heller zt”l, the Rav of Tzefas at the time, sustained losses as well; his wife and three children perished in it. Rav Shmuel himself was trapped under a layer of debris and he wasn’t able to climb out. He then shouted, “If I will be saved, I promise that I will study Torah more vigorously.” Miraculously, the stones began to fall to the side, and he was able to crawl out.” Really? The stones miraculously began to fall aside? You truly believe this bubbe meiseh ? Has anybody documented this dopey story? This is just one of hundreds of dopey chasidishe miracle tall tales and fabrications that anyone with reasonable common sense would laugh at. It’s unfortunate that you lend credence to such nonsense.
"The stones miraculously began to fall aside? You truly believe this bubbe meiseh ? Has anybody documented this dopey story? "
However, it could be that the stones actually rolled. And a very sharp Gemara student witnessing such an event could lead to the (re)invention of the wheel.

Truly a miracle!!! (that he wasn't buried deeper, since he didn't have the compassion to advocate for his family too while "miracles" where being handed out so freely.)
And it would take an even sharper Gemara student, one blessed with critical thinking, to question this farkakte hogwash. ( I would use a less piggish description but it aptly describes this imaginary incident.) Permit me to explain. Why would Hashem miraculously save this esteemed Rebbe because of his promise to study Torah more vigorously and not save his wife and children? It takes a man, like me,steeped in lomdus and midrashic-like insight to deliver the answer. His wife was of course female and his children obviously also. They are not supposed to learn Gemara like men do. That’s why they were permitted to die and the Holy Rebbe was saved. I can’t get over my insightful ingenuity. With such sophisticated acumen, Satmar will welcome me in heartbeat. I think I’ll join.
So you can’t explain why God would permit the wife and children to die and the Rebbe to live in your bubbe meise. Is that what they teach you say when you can’t come up with a reasonable response— that you believe it because you think you got it from a reliable source? Is that what what they teach you to say? Uch und Vey to your hashkafa.
Abe, not din, is a festering sack of rotting garbage, otherwise known as the Eruv rav. Have you heard of them aish? You don't get involved with them, you don't talk to them, because you don't want to get affected by them. Seeing chillul shabbos degrades shabbos in a jew's eyes, and hearing treife hashkafos affects you as well, even if you disagree with them. For the sake of your own neshama, stop reading this blog, and stop responding to their pure Schmutz and tumah! Go away and never come back, for your own sake. Have rachmanis on yourself, because if you don't, Hashem won't have rachmanis on you!
What amazing powers I have to effect Hashem so that he won’t have rachmonis on AishKodesh. Yeah, stop reading this blog and go back to concocting and repeating your bubbe meises. It’s sure a lot easier than trying to defend them.
Not you, him I never said you have anything. I said if a person doesn't have rachmanis on himself, Hashem doesn't have rachmanis on him. If aish does not have rachmanis on himself, Hashem won't. Nothing to do with you.
@Done, I feel that while perhaps a good suggestion, #1, you are being too harsh on these people. I love them -- they are all my brethren and even if sometimes they don't talk properly, well, I make mistakes too.
But #2, Yes, it might be better if I left. I just continue feeling I have an obligation to be here and do what I can... I wish I could leave...
He’s being too harsh on me? No ! He’s only trying to save to save your neshama from Hashem’s wrath. But please don’t leave. Consider all of those obligations you’ve burdened yourself with. Remember a few weeks ago you were going to contact Satmar to inquire about their scandalous defense of that cheder principal who was caught on a hidden camera molesting a young boy? He still hasn’t been arrested and they’re still defending him. Or your obligation to inquire about those Satmar pilfered charity $$$? What have been the fruits of your inquiries? But I almost forgot, you said “bli neder” and further qualified that with a superfluous “maybe”. How are those “bli neder” obligations progressing? Please let me know or I might lose my emunah in that famous Torah verse , “tzedek tzedek tirdof”. Just one other query. I notice that you post comments all hours of the day. I’m semi-retired, so I have the time to express my opinion but what about you? Are you unemployed or disabled?
We know what the mesilas yesharim say, perek beis at the very end: " if a person doesn't examine his own deeds, for sure Hashem won't look out for him, because if a person doesnt have rachmanis on himself, who will? Anyone who has no intelligence, (meaning common sense here) it is asur to have rachmanis on him. אם אין אני לי מי לי"
Rav shimshon pincus, pg 7 of the blue english book on emunah, " God fearing jews started to lose their faith in Torah after speaking to a non believer. Why is this? Is it because they were spiritually weak to begin with and their inner inclinations started to emerge? That is not the explanation-it is because of the spirit of impurity that rests on the very words of the non believer. A word that denies Hashem is like a word that conveys immodesty and indecency. One off color joke can ruin the purity of a person's thoughts. It infects his mind with a spirit of impurity, even if he is an upright and outstanding person.
Someone who hears the people around him denying Hashem is not immune to the effects just because he knows what they are saying is nonsense. This kind of speech contains the worst degree of impurity and filt that exists. Its powerful, destructive impact goes well beyond the actual subject that was discussed."
Mr. "Done" I love people that quote from Rav Shimshon Pincus z"l and haven't a clue to what they are talking about ... Your quote is completely out of context. ... According to your understanding of Rabbi Pincos z"l You saying that" G-D fearing Jews started to lose faith in Torah after speaking to non-believer"? If that is the case Yeshivah Ohr Somaich and Aish and other Kiruv Organizations would immediately go out of business" If that was the case then Rav Lokush and Rabbi Akivah that were non-believers would never have achieved the greatness that they eventually became.... they were according to the Gemarrah non-believers! It was because OTHERS believed in them that they were saved and became great ... This is not the forum to discuss the words of Rav Shimson Pinchus z"l .... suffice it to say that you have no clue or inkling to what you are talking about ...
Mr "Done" 4:05 Go back to Yeshivah your quote אם אין אני לי מי לי" .....to bolster your point that "f a person doesn't have rachmanis on himself, Hashem doesn't have rachmanis on him." is wrong!!!!! The saying of the Chazal is "שוטה אסור לרחם עליו" and it has nothing to do with the relationship that הקב''ה has with his creations Hashem has rachmonis on all his creatures even if they don't have rachmonis on themselves ..... שומר פאסוים ה' Hashem protects the fools.... Your comment of "אם אין אני לי מי לי" was said by הלל in פרקי אבות . and again, has absolutely nothing to do with what you are trying to say
Din, shoteh, I quoted directly from rav pincus and the ramchal, word for word.
Din, shoteh, rav pincus is not talking about ignorant people who were never on the detach, he is talking about apikorsim.
There may be multiple quotes in chaval, but the ramchal chose those. Open up a mesilas yesharim, you probably still have some left over, and take a look.
Mr Done looks like you are not going to be "done" for a while ..... :) Yes you quoted the רמח''ל word for word .....that doesn't mean that you have a grasp of what he is saying ..
The רמח''ל works are obviously not for you , I would recommend Chovas Halvovois ...
The רמח''ל in his sefer אדיר במארים page 449 has an entire different take and explanation of this dictum and that is totally different than what he wrote in מדת הזהירות and that was authored after he wrote the מסילת ישרים ... in that sefer he actually says that Hashem watches over all his creatures and agrees with Dovid Hamelech that wrote in his ספר תהילים that Hashem watches and has rachmonois over all his creatures and that was written over 3,000 years before the Ramchal lived..... People like you with limited understanding of the entire picture, focus on one little paragraph and think that is the only way how to learn .... and that that is Torah! And the rest of Jewish people that have an entire different take, are wrong! Sorry buddy,,,, there are 70 ways to learn Torah! But one must delve into what the the Ramchal is getting at .... And maybe I'll dedicate a post to my understanding of this Ramchal and why in his other sefer he seems to contradict what he wrote .... As far as Rav Pincus is concerned, anybody that knew Rav Pincos knows that he said many times that there are no apikorsim alive in this generation ....... and Rav Pichus' total essence was his love for every single Jew even the Jews that you and your family hate ...... His essence and purpose for living was to be mekareiv and yes answer what you call non-believers ....he was constantly inviting them to come to his shmuzzen and encouraged them to debate him ... What he is saying in your "cut and paste" was that someone whose Emunah is not strong enough shouldn't get involved with debating people who question the very basic tenants of the Torah ...because these 'heretical"questions will ultimately penetrate a heart that doesn't have the proper background to deal with this ...not everyone is suited for this enterprise.. He obviously means you .... so as you call yourself "done" I suggest you get off this blog because obviously ... this is way over your head!!
How do you know he was talking only about apikorsim? Maybe he was talking only about ignorant people. Your guess is as good as mine except that you your guess is formulated to fit an insular and ill—informed hashkafa. You believe objection to chasidishe bubbe meises is apikorsis? I think it’s a good idea that you sequester yourself from all those apikorsim. In the least, they’d be insulated from your crackpot spiritual contamination.
The ramchal clearly says that even animals will run from something dangerous to them, yet an ignoramus will continue running along a cliff, keeping himself in harm's way, and that to do so is to be worse than an animal.
Aish, as a seemingly upstanding his, shouldn remove himself from harm's way.
@Done, I know. You are right and I did learn that. But what if it is a Mitzvah to be on here trying to improve things? I would rather to do a Mitzvah than feel very Ruchniusdikke...
Now I see that you are a phony, because you are asking people who are against being frum for advice as to whether or not something is a mitzvah, 1, and 2,you would rather do a mitzvah than feel ruchniyusdikke? Where is that option found?
@DIN, By the way, I pronounce it Kugel -- but I am a Litvak, or Chassidvak as I like to say. :) My Rebbe from Bobov 45 of course pronounces it Keegil I'm pretty sure. Eilu Vi'Eilu, right? :)
Aish Part 1 This blog is an opportunity for people to vent ..... and also to inform people that there is another side. As far as comments are concerned ....I am not happy when comments end up being ad hominem attacks... and I do delete some.....and I am guilty of that myself..
As far as the comments that question our basic tenants of our Mesorah is concerned .... I believe that if people really want to know then let them comment ...and there is nothing wrong with saying .... "well, you might have a point there, and I'm not sure...." or you can answer that "my beliefs are based on my faith, period"
And the truth is that my own beliefs are based 100% on my faith .... and so in my life when someone questions that belief, it doesn't have an impact on me, contrary to what Rabbi Pincus says (quoted by "done"), on the contrary I go back and search to find an answer, and if I don't find one ...it won't kill me...it doesn't effect my faith ... and that's how I live my life..and that faith comforts me in times of Joy and in times of sorrow!
I'l give you an example ..... I own an IPhone .... for the life of me I cannot explain how by swiping the lens, the entire face of the phone changes ....or by pressing "send" on my Email, someone on the other end of planet gets it immediately .... I don't even understand how a fax works ... I am constantly astonished on how this works ....Im sure that there are people that know the mechanics and the technology but those very people would be baffled how Earth revolves on its axel. And even though I don't have the answers on how the phone works, I have faith that it will work and if someone were to mock me and say ... "you don't know anything behind that technology why do you have faith that the phone will work? " That question will not stop me from using the phone... and swiping the lens ...
If I found an Iphone on the floor ... would I question who created it??? Would I say that it was created by accident, because I don't have a clue how to make it by myself? The world is far more complicated than an Iphone....If earth would go off a fraction in its orbit...that would be the end of the earth as we know it .... I took my son years ago to the Planetarium and you see billions and billions of stars and this is only one galaxiy alone, and there are billions and billions of galaxies ... do I know how this works and why we even need it ? No... but just like in the IPhone all parts must be there for it to work, so do all the heavenly bodies need to be there for it to work .... but would I say that came in by itself or even by accident??? No...even though I admit I have no idea how it works/ So Im confident that there is G-d a Creator that created this world... and I don't care how many people even educated and intelligent people argue with me ... even if I cannot answer all their questions..
Aish (part 2) The real question is ... why are we here? As religious Jews we believe that part of the idea behind creation is that G-D took a nation and gave them the Torah for reasons only he knows .. we can only speculate and believe ... In Fiddler in the Roof .... when Tevia finds out that the Jews are thrown out of Anetevkeh ,Tevia questions:" If we are the chosen people, why choose us all the time?" Its a legitimate question even if I don't have the answer myself... Chazal speculate why the Bais Hamikdash was destroyed .... after debating the reason for many pages, they are forced to say that it was because of "Sinas Chinum" .... but if you read the gemarrah, you will notice that our Rabbis were really tortured by that question and the question is a lot stronger than the answer... But for myself ... My belief today, is strong enough that I even though I may be baffled by G-D's ways, it doesn't consume me.... even Moshe Rabbeinu couldn't figure it out! So for me when I see a religious Jew steal, molest and even murder, I don't blame G-D or even my religion because after all... we are all but mortal beings ...have choices, and we are here today gone tomorrow.. but I do go crazy when people molest... steal... and stop traffic inconveniencing people in the name of religion trying to convince me that that is what G-D wants .... when no one really knows ... not even the Mesilas Yeshurim or even Rabbi Pincus ...
Thank you for your nice comments DIN. Must have taken a lot of time on them. Really was nice to read as it was almost like a Hashkafa Drosha -- Yashar Koach :)
But my question was; do I present any toeles by being here? If not, then I have no excuse reading the Lashon Hara, etc.
Again, thank you for your thought out replies, achi.
Aish (part 3) When I say that "no one really knows ... not even the Mesilas Yeshurim or even Rabbi Pincus ..."
I mean, that I am talking about theological questions .... because various different Rabbis including the Rambam and the Ramban disagree ....and they are the greatest Frum Jewish theologians ...
Yes, one should learn the Mesilas Yeshurim, Chovas Halvovois etc .... to get an understanding of the deep secrets of the Torah but at the end of the day .... it is your absolute faith that there is a Creator and that Creator chose the Jewish people and gave them the Torah .... both ... Torah She'beksav and Torah Shel Baal Peh, and that G-D wants us to do mitzvois so that we can connect to Him spiritually ....
So when a Rabbi comes along and says he knows that the Zionists caused the Nazis to murder my grandparents, I have to laugh .... The Satmar Rebbe actually said that ...... He also said in June of 1967 that he is "not a prophet nor a son of a prophet" and for good measure he says that he doesn't have "Ruach Ha'Kodesh" ... so it's only his opinion .... based on a distorted and false view of history!
When Rabbi Avigdor Miller writes in his latest book published posthumously, that it was because the European Jews pre WW2 sinned ,and thats why 6 million innocent Jews were viciously murdered ... then that causes people to abandon their beliefs ... How do they know that???
You ask so what is the reason???? I don't know ... but that doesn't rock my faith ...... it did rock those who unfortunately went thru the tragedy ... and I don't blame them ...
But I believe that their must be a reason .... but I've given up searching for one after having read hundreds of sefarim and books that try to analyze the reason behind it ... I now read books that portray Jews ... not Rabbis , but the regular Jewish peasants that defied the Nazis and asked no questions of G-D.... I personally find comfort in those books ... but thats me ...
People ask me why do you attack Satmar??? The answer to that is That Satmar portrays itself as super frum ....and being super frum ... you don't attack Rabbis that you don't agree with ... you dont call Leaders of the Jewish People "Apikorsim and Meenim" because they dont agree with your view.... The Torah was given to all Jews and not only Satmar stood at Har Sinai.... Rav Kook z"l stood there as well!
12:33 Like the question on this thread: "Kugel or Keegal" You have to ask yourself if your'e getting affected by it ... if you feel that you are then of course you should leave ..
However, I question whether its Loshon Hara... How long are we going to allow Rabbis of Satmar, Neturei Karta and Rabbi Miller to get away with outrageous anti_jewish thoughts and let them get away with it? based on that it is Losho Hara? Why should I refrain from exposing their hatred when THEY never thought that it was Loshon Hara?
We learn Loshon Hara from the Meraglim..... on who did they talk Loshon Horah about???? The Canninites ..... the nation with the lowest morals ... Moshe asked them "היש בה עץ '' ? see Rashi: "Is there a tzaddik living in Israel?" What did they answer to that question? אפס כי עז instead of saying "no" they added that the nation living there is עז ... they are arrogant! This pshat is according to many commentaries ..... So they spoke Loshon Hara against a people with the lowest moral ethics ,,,, and for that we are suffering till this day ... One cannot speak ill of anyone living in Israel even if they are of the lowest moral caliber ... and of course it goes without saying not to speak ill of Jewish people!!!! So Yes..... exposing those who speak ill of the State of Israel is a Mitzvah ... a Mitzvah Le'Farseim"
Anyway, I see your reason of Mitzvah Le'farseim. I disagree with speaking Lashon Hara on Eretz Yisroel, but truly I think (advice for your blog), when you make posts, you should not be so biased, i.e. when saying something about Rav Kook zt"l, compare Satmar derogitorily to him, etc. You know what I mean?
Quick great saying from Rav Kook zt"l that we have on our wall:
"There are free men with the spirit of a slave, and slaves whose spirit is full of freedom. He who is true to his inner self is a free man, while he whose entire life is merely a stage for what is good and beautiful in the eyes of others, is a slave."
You are a phoney, or mentally unstable and need medication, no jokes at all.
To all: where does it say that it is mitzvah lifarsem for NO purpose? Where does it say it's a mitzvah lifarsem when nobody will be saved from hezek/nezek by being mifarsem it? Putting a lie about the gerrer rebbe about banning chasidim from being in United hatzalah, has what toeles?
Admit it, it stems from this burning hate in your gut.

Permit me to explain.
Abe, I don't know the story about his wife or children, but the place where I got the story usually has documented ones, or something like that.
ReplyDeleteReb C_D, I don't know the entire situation. Maybe he didn't get the chance to Daven for his family... I don't know.
AishKodesh 8:13 PM,
DeleteSo you can’t explain why God would permit the wife and children to die and the Rebbe to live in your bubbe meise.
ReplyDeleteDone 11:06 PM
DeleteWhat amazing powers I have to effect Hashem so that he won’t have rachmonis on AishKodesh. Yeah, stop reading this blog and go back to concocting and repeating your bubbe meises. It’s sure a lot easier than trying to defend them.
Not you, him
DeleteI never said you have anything.
I said if a person doesn't have rachmanis on himself, Hashem doesn't have rachmanis on him.
If aish does not have rachmanis on himself, Hashem won't. Nothing to do with you.
@11:06
ReplyDeleteYup...don't let anything interfere with the brain-washing!!!
Don't hear Truth!!
Hashem made us to be ignorant!!!!
Save yourself!!
#notacult
@Done, I feel that while perhaps a good suggestion, #1, you are being too harsh on these people. I love them -- they are all my brethren and even if sometimes they don't talk properly, well, I make mistakes too.
ReplyDeleteBut #2, Yes, it might be better if I left. I just continue feeling I have an obligation to be here and do what I can... I wish I could leave...
AishKodesh 10:50 AM,
ReplyDeleteHe’s being too harsh on me?
Abe, I don't know, How can we know? Do YOU know what Hashem is "thinking", and/or why He makes certain things happens?
ReplyDeleteThis isn't a cop-out. Das is Emes.
DeleteRav shimshon pincus, pg 7 of the blue english book on emunah, " God fearing jews started to lose their faith in Torah after speaking to a non believer. Why is this? Is it because they were spiritually weak to begin with and their inner inclinations started to emerge?
DeleteThat is not the explanation-it is because of the spirit of impurity that rests on the very words of the non believer.
Mr. "Done"
ReplyDeleteI love people that quote from Rav Shimshon Pincus z"l and haven't a clue to what they are talking about ...
Your quote is completely out of context. ...
According to your understanding of Rabbi Pincos z"l
You saying that" G-D fearing Jews started to lose faith in Torah after speaking to non-believer"?
If that is the case Yeshivah Ohr Somaich and Aish and other Kiruv Organizations would immediately go out of business"
If that was the case then Rav Lokush and Rabbi Akivah that were non-believers would never have achieved the greatness that they eventually became.... they were according to the Gemarrah non-believers!
It was because OTHERS believed in them that they were saved and became great ...
This is not the forum to discuss the words of Rav Shimson Pinchus z"l .... suffice it to say that you have no clue or inkling to what you are talking about ...
Mr "Done" 4:05
ReplyDeleteGo back to Yeshivah your quote אם אין אני לי מי לי" .....to bolster your point that
"f a person doesn't have rachmanis on himself, Hashem doesn't have rachmanis on him."
is wrong!!!!!
The saying of the Chazal is
"שוטה אסור לרחם עליו"
and it has nothing to do with the relationship that הקב''ה has with his creations
Hashem has rachmonis on all his creatures even if they don't have rachmonis on themselves .....
שומר פאסוים ה'
Hashem protects the fools....
Your comment of "אם אין אני לי מי לי" was said by הלל in פרקי אבות . and again, has absolutely nothing to do with what you are trying to say
Din, shoteh, I quoted directly from rav pincus and the ramchal, word for word.
ReplyDeleteDin, shoteh, rav pincus is not talking about ignorant people who were never on the detach, he is talking about apikorsim.
There may be multiple quotes in chaval, but the ramchal chose those. Open up a mesilas yesharim, you probably still have some left over, and take a look.
@Abe, it is very hard to actually get to the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a himself...
ReplyDelete@DIN, Done is indeed quoting straight from the Mesilas Yesharim. I learn it. Beautiful Sefer.
Mr Done
ReplyDeletelooks like you are not going to be "done" for a while ..... :)
Yes you quoted the רמח''ל word for word .....that doesn't mean that you have a grasp of what he is saying ..
Done 6:24 PM,
ReplyDeleteHow do you know he was talking only about apikorsim? Maybe he was talking only about ignorant people. Your guess is as good as mine except that you your guess is formulated to fit an insular and ill—informed hashkafa.
You believe objection to chasidishe bubbe meises is apikorsis? I think it’s a good idea that you sequester yourself from all those apikorsim. In the least, they’d be insulated from your crackpot spiritual contamination.
It is clear from the context that he is referring to someone who makes a joke out of the torah. Its not a read in, it is actually what he says.
DeleteAish, as a seemingly upstanding yid, should remove himself from harms way.
DeleteHe said very clearly that an off colored joke will degrade the Torah in your eyes. Who it is coming from makes no difference
ReplyDeleteSo you chap the quote from rav pincus to love every jew, yet you hate the frummies.....
ReplyDeleteThe ramchal clearly says that even animals will run from something dangerous to them, yet an ignoramus will continue running along a cliff, keeping himself in harm's way, and that to do so is to be worse than an animal.
ReplyDeleteAish, as a seemingly upstanding his, shouldn remove himself from harm's way.
DIN 7:43 PM,
ReplyDeleteWell said. Great food for thought. Thanks
@Done, I know. You are right and I did learn that. But what if it is a Mitzvah to be on here trying to improve things? I would rather to do a Mitzvah than feel very Ruchniusdikke...
ReplyDeleteAny input DIN, Abe, C_D, etc.?
Now I see that you are a phony, because you are asking people who are against being frum for advice as to whether or not something is a mitzvah, 1, and 2,you would rather do a mitzvah than feel ruchniyusdikke? Where is that option found?
Delete@DIN, By the way, I pronounce it Kugel -- but I am a Litvak, or Chassidvak as I like to say. :) My Rebbe from Bobov 45 of course pronounces it Keegil I'm pretty sure. Eilu Vi'Eilu, right? :)
ReplyDeleteKeegil...but then I'm an Alexandria Choooooosid
ReplyDeleteAish
ReplyDeletePart 1
This blog is an opportunity for people to vent ..... and also to inform people that there is another side.
"well, you might have a point there, and I'm not sure...."
or you can answer that "my beliefs are based on my faith, period"
No...even though I admit I have no idea how it works/
So Im confident that there is G-d a Creator that created this world... and I don't care how many people even educated and intelligent people argue with me ... even if I cannot answer all their questions..
Aish
ReplyDelete(part 2)
The real question is ... why are we here?
As religious Jews we believe that part of the idea behind creation is that G-D took a nation and gave them the Torah for reasons only he knows .. we can only speculate and believe ...
In Fiddler in the Roof .... when Tevia finds out that the Jews are thrown out of Anetevkeh ,Tevia questions:" If we are the chosen people, why choose us all the time?"
Its a legitimate question even if I don't have the answer myself...
ReplyDeleteBut my question was; do I present any toeles by being here? If not, then I have no excuse reading the Lashon Hara, etc.
Again, thank you for your thought out replies, achi.
Aish
ReplyDelete(part 3)
When I say that "no one really knows ... not even the Mesilas Yeshurim or even Rabbi Pincus ..."
The answer to that is
That Satmar portrays itself as super frum ....and being super frum ... you don't attack Rabbis that you don't agree with ... you dont call Leaders of the Jewish People "Apikorsim and Meenim" because they dont agree with your view....
The Torah was given to all Jews and not only Satmar stood at Har Sinai.... Rav Kook z"l stood there as well!
12:33
ReplyDeleteLike the question on this thread:
"Kugel or Keegal"
You have to ask yourself if your'e getting affected by it ...
if you feel that you are then of course you should leave ..
Moshe asked them "היש בה עץ '' ?
see Rashi: "Is there a tzaddik living in Israel?"
What did they answer to that question?
אפס כי עז
instead of saying "no" they added that the nation living there is עז ... they are arrogant!
I agree with your Emunah. Well said about it.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I see your reason of Mitzvah Le'farseim.
@Done, I am not a phoney, Baruch Hashem. I need to show respect to these people though. They are Yidden. And besides that Frum.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I am probably going to contact a Posek about it, B'Ezras Hashem.
You are a phoney, or mentally unstable and need medication, no jokes at all.
ReplyDeleteTo all: where does it say that it is mitzvah lifarsem for NO purpose? Where does it say it's a mitzvah lifarsem when nobody will be saved from hezek/nezek by being mifarsem it?
Putting a lie about the gerrer rebbe about banning chasidim from being in United hatzalah, has what toeles?
Admit it, it stems from this burning hate in your gut.
Sinas chinam for chinam.
@Done, Actually, Baruch Hashem, I am none of the above... Why would I be?...
