New York, May 10, 1933

New Yorkers marched through Manhattan to protest Nazi persecution in Germany.

The march was organized by the American Jewish Congress. Rabbis, war veterans and other demonstrators passed City Hall as the city watched.

  1. While some modern-Orthodox rabbis participated in communal protest calls, such as Rabbi Moses Margolies of Congregation Kehilath Jeshurun (grandfather of Open Orthodox Haskel the rascal Lookstein) who spoke at the Madison Square Garden event, the leading European gedolim & major American rabbinical leadership generally did not endorse or champion secular-led mass protest rallies, warning against reliance on public confrontations

" the leading European gedolim & major American rabbinical leadership generally did not endorse or champion secular-led mass protest"

In retrospect, they were all unfortunately "dead" wrong!
It was that attitude that didn't work and doesn't work

    2. And your glorified MSG protest did work to stop Hitler in his tracks? Feh! You should start listening to what the Torah advises which is exactly what the gedolim did instead of huddling with Reform big wheel Wise & the Labor Union thugs who were all there because Hitler banned labor unions.

The Gedoilim because of their anti-Zionist obsession, wrongly advised their followers not to use their visas to the USA and to Palestine, thereby directly causing the brutal deaths of hundreds of thousands of their followers
      read אם הבנים שמיחה!
It doesn't make a difference why the Labor Union was there for; what counts is that they were there.
If it ultimately works is up to the RBS"O!
I spoke to Sharansky who lives here in Israel and he said that he felt great knowing that there were thousands protesting at rallies while he was in prison; he said it gave him hope!
Interesting that you keep bashing these protests, yet you support illegal Charedi protests that do harm and damage to other Jews!
Satmar protests in front of the UN against the home of the majority of the Jewish people! They lekk the tuchis of a vicious antisemite, invite him into the Sukka, and present him with a mezzuza
You are all very very sick! And did I mention "stupid?"

    4. You know nothing about me yet you paint me as a Satmar crony. This is your M.O. to paint the gantz Charedi velt with the same incriminating brushstroke. I am not in support of Satmar protests either which are also counterproductive. The Gedolim beroisham R’ Aron Kotler assered those just like the Gedolim today asser the Peleg protests in Israel. And Satmar should be ashamed of themselves for their lekking of every miscreant from Mamdani to Rand to Hochul & Tush James. Otherwise your Monday Morning Quarterbacking on the Holocaust holds no water because it was a shaas cherem & Hester Ponim. Like the Brisker Dayan poskened in 1939 it was impossible to arrive at a sure decision in a za matziv

Again ...I see we are in the same page ....you state smugly:
"Holocaust holds no water because it was a shaas cherem & Hester Ponim.
Those are Charedie code words for saying ;that "they knew nothing!!!! "But that didn't stop them from advising tens of thousands of Jews to remain in Europe and not make aliya.
Which is interesting because those that did defy them and made Aliya were not touched by the Holocaust! It seems that those defiers did not have a" shaas cherem & Hester Ponim."
      Something to think about!

      Then you scribble:
"Like the Brisker Dayan poskened in 1939 it was impossible to arrive at a sure decision in a za matziv"
First of all your term "he paskened" is not only childish but utter stupidity! Its like I "pasken" in retrospect that it rained yesterday in Beit Shemesh!
Second of all ...That is an outrageous lie as the Brisker Rav himself escaped to Israel and didn't even have time to take his wife and children who subsequently perished!

  2. Almost 100 years later there is a different kind of thug terrorizing in the streets of Monsey instead of Berlin

    https://cbnunfiltered.com/so-i-dont-know-exactly-whats-going-on-in-monseyland-but-it-seems-there-are-a-bunch-of-rand-goons-going-around-threatening-people-that-their-kids-will-be-thrown-out-of-school-if-th/

and these thugs are mostly affiliated with Satmar who are eager to suck up all the welfare dollars that Joe Rand promises. Joe Rand is not a freya Yid as many assume. He’s Sicilian, name was changed from Miserendino. In Sicily, the home territory of La Cosa Nostra, they admire these Satmar Mafia tactics!

      When it became obvious????
It became obvious in 1929 when Hitler wrote his book Mein Kampf
You keep touting that Charedie Gedoilim know everything, and when I point out, that they knew nothing, you say
      "shaas cherem & Hester Ponim."
which actually means they knew nothing just like I said!
They knew nothing then and they know nothing now!
They come out with the most outragious KOl Koras
One says that if you vote you are going to hell
      and the other says
that if you don't vote you are going to hell!
They are completely detached and disconnected from reality, hence the poor showing for the Charedi parties!
