Vivian Silver, from Kibbutz Be’eri. All her life, she believed in peace and coexistence with the Palestinians. She was a member of the left-wing organization B’Tselem. She worked with Yasser Arafat himself.
A Jewish Israeli peace and coexistence activist, she was a co-founder of Women Wage Peace, a movement with more than 50,000 members campaigning to end the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
For years, she transported Palestinian children to hospitals in Israel for medical treatment. Just three days before she was killed, she helped organize an interfaith gathering in Jerusalem calling for Arab-Jewish coexistence.
She believed in peace. She fought for it. She helped Palestinians.
Hamas killed her anyway.
Vivian Silver was 74 years old when Hamas killed her on October 7.
It took experts a month to identify her burned body.
There are all kinds of misguided notions out there from embracing terrorists to fighting that Bnei Torah should close their sefurim hakedoishim to man a Tzahal tank while shacked up mit a meydelah
ReplyDeleteWe don't have to convince or coax Bnei-Teira "to close their sefurim" so far those arrested were arrested on the streets or when they were home or at the airport, it seems no one has their "sefurim" open!
