HUGE: Qatar Tells U.S. It Will Expel Hamas Leadership From Its Territory After They Refuse to Condemn Iranian Attacks

According to the report by journalist Amit Segal and Ehud Yaari, Qatar has reportedly informed the United States that it intends to expel Hamas leaders from its territory after the group refused to condemn Iran’s recent missile attacks against Qatar and other Gulf states.

For years, Qatar has hosted senior Hamas political leaders in its capital, Doha, while simultaneously positioning itself as a mediator between Hamas, Israel, and Western governments. The arrangement allowed Qatar to maintain influence with multiple sides and serve as a diplomatic channel in negotiations.

Qatar may now be repositioning itself more firmly within the Western and Gulf political orbit while distancing itself from organizations designated as terrorist groups by the United States and many European countries.
