From November 30th to December 8th 1941, Nazi Einsatzgruppen, with the help of local collaborators, carried out mass executions in the Rumbula forest near Riga, Latvia.
Nearly 25,000 Jews from the Riga ghetto were murdered in just two days, including thousands of children.
