There's an old story of the Czar drafting all these yeshiva boys and putting them in the rifle shooting division. The boys take to their training with great intensity and developed incredibly accurate shooting skills. So the Czar moves them to the front. They position themselves and the enemy army comes over the hill. The officer in charge shouts "Fire!" but the boys don't. "Why don't you fire?" he askes. "Can't you see?" one of the boys replies. "There are people in the way! We might hit them!"
I don't know what The whole fuss is about. Are these children army material? They would soil their undies and start crying if anything happened.
