The American military couldn't built a reliable pier during the war and you think they can handle Gaza? Even if they tried, remember that the media will be there to ensure they fail. Hamas will attack them and if they respond, the media will portray it as the US pushing Israel's "genocide" further. Imagine they battle a Hamas brigade. All US casualties will be reported as "And they died for Israel's benefit" and then there will be reports of American soldiers massacring Arabs. It will not end well.
