Outdated equipment, and mostly inoperative due to lack of pilots, maintenance, spare parts, and qualified personnel. These may be Made-in-France choppers and missiles, ok, but probably bought second or third-hand from some African army or government (a common thing in the Middle-East), or most likely from some army surplus somewhere in Eastern Europe after the wars in the 90’s in Serbia, Bosnia, ecc. where corrupt Russian and Ukrainian mercenaries never hesitate to make themselves a good few bucks.
Zako So who did the French sell these to? A peaceful Western nation and they sold it? Why are the French selling these missiles? And to whom? My question remains? What did the French think when they were selling these weapons? In 2012 France announced that they were stopping to sell munitions to Syria, which means that up to 2012 France sold missiles to Syria!
To Din Nothing new. France sold fighter jets, missiles and army tanks also to Saddam Hussein back then (but ceased imediately in 1988 before the 1st Gulf war) and to a few other petromonarchies such as Saudi Arabia and so. The US can't have the world monopole on heavy weaponry. In any case, these old alleged rusty french helicopters (most probably nailed to the ground since decades) are small peanuts when compared to the heavy MiG fighter jets and T-14, T-72 and T-90 army tanks shipped to Syria by the Kremlin over the past 70 years.
And these outdated inoperative rusty choppers are worthless compared to the megazillions of cash that the evil Obama & Biden mafia have sent to the supra-criminal iranian terroristic regime.
Zay are to blow up zee BIG BEATLES in zee salade
