Universities Will Lose Funding if They Tolerate Antisemitism under the Trump Administration

President Donald Trump spoke at a rally against antisemitism and declared that universities will lose federal support if they don’t crack down on Jew-hatred:

“We will not subsidize the creation of terrorist sympathizers, and we’re not going to do it – certainly on American soil”

It seems so simple, government-funded universities — which already espouse socialism, racism, hatred of Americans, and pro-China propaganda–should not be allowed to spew Jew hatred. Yet under four years of Biden-Harris, the rhetoric and harassment have reached insane levels.

To “defeat antisemitism and defend Jewish citizens in America,” Trump said he would inform every college president that if they do not “end antisemitic propaganda,” they would lose accreditation and federal support.

“We will not subsidize the creation of terrorist sympathizers, and we’re not going to do it – certainly on American soil,” he said.

Trump added that he would inform all educational institutions that if they permit violence or harassment against Jewish students, they will be “held accountable for violations of the civil rights law.”

“It’s very important – Jewish Americans must have equal protection under the law, and they’re going to get it,” he said. “At the same time, my administration will move swiftly to restore safety for Jewish students and Jewish people on American streets.”

Trump has offered Rep. Elise Stefanik, the Republican representing New York’s 21st district, the position of US ambassador to the UN. Stefanik has famously been one of the leading voices against US campus antisemitism, which reached a pinnacle during her grilling of three university presidents who condoned antisemitism, two of whom were forced to resign.
