"White Privileged" Stephanopoulos Gets Unhinged Talking Down to A Black Representative

In a heated exchange on ABC News, Representative Byron Donalds and host George Stephanopoulos clashed over Vice President Kamala Harris’ racial identity. The segment, which quickly became tense, showcased a dramatic confrontation that left viewers questioning the impartiality of the host.

The interaction began when Stephanopoulos brought up Harris’ racial identity, prompting Donalds to address the ongoing social media conversation surrounding the topic. However, the discussion quickly escalated when Stephanopoulos accused Donalds of perpetuating a slur.

“You just repeated the slur again. If it doesn’t matter why do you keep questioning her identity? She’s always identified as a black woman. She is biracial. She has a Jamaican father and an Indian mother. She always identified as both. Why are you questioning that?” Stephanopoulos demanded.

Donalds responded, attempting to shift the focus to broader issues. “Well George, first of all this is something that’s actually a conversation throughout social media right now. There are a lot of people that are trying to figure this out. But again that’s a side issue, not the main issue. The main issue is…”

Stephanopoulos, visibly agitated, interrupted. “Sir, one second. You just did it! You just did it again! Why do you insist on questioning her racial identity?!”

As tensions rose, Donalds tried to regain control of the conversation. “Do you want to talk or do you want me to talk?”

“I want you to answer my question!” Stephanopoulos shot back.

“George… George. Now that you’re done yelling at me let me answer!” Donalds retorted, highlighting the contentious nature of the exchange.

The fiery confrontation left viewers wondering about Stephanopoulos’ ability to maintain impartiality, especially in the context of a potential ABC Presidential debate. The segment has since sparked widespread discussion and debate on social media, with many questioning the boundaries of journalistic neutrality and the role of media in political discourse.
