At a very elementary level, isn't this bittul Torah?? Does burning a flag (any) supersede learning Torah??
So sad that they feel that teaching hate is such an important lesson. Have your views if you will, but does there have to be such a public display? When these children grow up and discover the truth, they will hate their elders, like so many ex-Satmar OTDs already do.
They should be reported for child abuse - the child holding the burning flag (as well as others) could have been seriously injured in this spectacle.
Disgusting. Such a disgrace. They are fools. Which flag would they not burn?
