Ishay Ribo learning with his father |
DIN: The sickos and naysayers are coming out like roaches when lights go on. A frum singer with songs that have a frum perspective fills up Madison Square Garden with 14,000 frum people for a concert and yet there are jealous "imfarginars" that are criticizing this Kiddush Hashem.
Yes they sat family style, so what?
A Mother shouldn't sit with her boy teenagers to enjoy a concert? A father shouldn't sit with his teenage daughter and enjoy a concert?
When Avram Fried and the rest of the "boo-hoo, bee- hee, oy " singers do it, "ein kol ve'ein ona" that's ok but when an Israeli guy does it... all hell breaks out!
I think that sitting with your family enjoying a frum concert is the most beautiful thing! It's good for "shulim Bayis" it's a great connection between parents and their children and promotes harmony.
Those knocking this and bringing all kinds of fake halachos, should get a life and leave us all alone!
Go Ishay !! Go!!
Orthodox Jewish Podcaster Nachi Gordon posted a video of himself on Twitter, defending his earlier comments linking a recent Jewish concert with the coming of Moshiach, and asking social media users to be more positive.
Gordon was apparently responding to unnamed critics who took issue with his praise of Sunday’s Ishay Ribo concert as a Kiddush Hashem and a spiritually uplifting experience. He also defended and clarified an earlier tweet which said “15,000 Jews pack @TheGarden for an Ishay Ribo concert. Was able to feel in that room tonight that we are in the days leading up to Moshiach!”
In the video, Gordon said, “A lot of people who criticized the Ishay Ribo concert were not there…
“[They said it was] not a Kiddush Hashem, it had mixed seating…A lot of people said you mentioned “Moshiach””
Gordon continued, “Yes I could feel we are in days leading up to Moshiach…things that Gedolim have said, that we are in days of Moshiach. Sitting in a room with thousands people sing “Baruch Shem Kvod Malchuso L’olam Vaed” at top of their lungs, brings that feeling to me personally.”
He clarified that he “did not say the concert is how we bring Moshiach.”
Gordon continued, “I disagree with those who say this was purely entertainment, and do not bring Judaism into this.”
He emphasized that it was a concert with 15,000 Jews in MSG entitled “Elul,” as well as the achdus that was expressed.
“Why are we not focusing on the positive?” Gordon asked. “Why am I seeing so much negativity about this concert? Ishay Ribo said this many times, [we should have] Ahavas Chinam. Why is this not happening?”
Many Twitter users responded to Gordon’s message supportively and praised him.
Why are some criticizing? Because they belong to the cult faction that makes up its own rules as they go along. And destroying Yiddishkeit in the process for many, many others.
ReplyDeleteCan We drop off our BED....Cloth at your place and you'll judge it based on shulem Bais (like the Bayit in Riverdale) ??
ReplyDelete100%!! What's wrong with women dancing in front of men and singing in front of men??? Such jealous roaches!! Such prudes!! When I saw that on video, the FIRST thing that came to my mind was, 'this is THE way to bring Moshiach!!"

ReplyDeleteoh wow!
"wow women dancing in front of men and singing in front of men?"
Is this what you saw?
Was this the purpose of the concert? or was the purpose of the concert to entertain thousands with songs of inspiration in a family setting?
Well, yesterday I was at a wedding and saw an old kocker shlepping a kallah by a leash and parading her around in front of hundreds of ogling men at what they call a "mitzvah tanz" (lol)
Will this bring "mashiach?"
Mamash geferlich!
ReplyDeleteRally the troops! How are Avremel Schorr's mic grabbing skills these days?
I’m in no cult and I’m no frummy either I saw the post and It bothered me cause you don’t need to go to mixed concert to tell me that we are in Mashiach times making it like this concert was a kiddish hashem I’m not saying it’s assur but I definitely didn’t feel comfortable going to sit mixed and see ladies jumping dancing and singing ..and after seeing the videos I’m happy I didn’t go I will go to the siyum hashas to sit with 15k yidden or I’ll travel to lkwd to go see 15k yidden learning in the yeshiva that’s a kiddish hashem and that will BRING masahiach

ReplyDeleteSo far:
"the siyum hashas with 15k yidden or lkwd to go see 15k yidden learning in the yeshiva" has NOT brought Mashiach!
Maybe this concert with "mixed seating" will!
Ahha ..got it
ReplyDeleteA crowd here that wants moshiach to vomit
Someone actually told me that PIZZA is avoda zara. I just laughed and said "Sorry. I canceled my Chumra of the Month Club membership." Good things like this concert come as a benefit of canceling aforesaid club membership.
ReplyDeleteIt is a פריצות to have men and women
ReplyDeleteSinging and dancing together, it is no
laughing matter, according to הלכה .
So whether it fits in in today’s woke
outlook, doesn’t matter.
It is a serious transgression, for no
important enough reason.
You can have an arrangement of
separate seating, then it would be
a Kiddush Hashem .
I don’t know about Moshiach , but
even He is bound to the הלכה.
Fakewood tzaddik
ReplyDeleteYou know I’m right.I do feel bad that you went and you should also. I’ll drive with you to fakewood if you want
I am in no way trying or mean to hate on anyone that went Chas vshalom just nebach people don’t realize right from wrong these days and my heart goes out for them …
For all the jealous naysayers making ridiculous and disgusting hateful comments.
ReplyDeleteYou are the perfect example of a religious zealot and a hateful fanatic.
And the definition of a religious zealot, is someone who is up all night worrying that maybe just maybe, someone somewhere out there is having a good time.
You guys are nothing but evil jealous UMFARGINERS.
If you don’t know what it means, just ask your Yiddish speaking Grandmother.
P.S It’s guys like you who are holding up the coming of Moshiach, it’s not Ishay Ribo or Avram Fried
H L Menken, the cynic agnostic,a poor choice for most to use-but fitting

DIN.
This has to be your best line ever, you really hit it out of the ballpark with this one.
Was rolling on the floor,
thanks for the laughs
Mashiach is likely moving further away from us.Unless we cut much of our various garbage out.
ReplyDeleteWe may have missed our chance for this generation (cf. sources)
That's how it goes, with these attitudes
