This is how Ultraorthodoxy has gone off the rails. For 25 hours on Yom Kippur we fast to raise ourselves to the level of angels. Then before the final shofar blast can be completed, people are shoving cake into their mouths lest they allow the holiness they claim to have so desired to last 1 second longer than it needs to. On Pesach we remove all the chometz from our lives to elevate our souls and remove the yetzer hara. The minute Pesach ends we go running to put the yetzer right back where we had it before.
It's so good that you're here keeping everyone in check to remove their Yetzer Hara and be like angels. And thank you for being such a live example. I really envy you. Wow. Thank you so much.
My own chametz fix -- doing Havdalah over beer -- worked just fine; I did not need to go mob the local bakery.

The bread rolls are obviously being given away for free hence the stampede. The baker is laughing at their behaviour.
