Why?
According to the Fatwa, Walder reads secular books, so even though, Walder is in good company, with the Rambam, Ramban, Eben Ezra, and most Rishonim and Achronim and even Chazal, they are banning him...
The Eida is against the Zionist State, though they are headquartered in Yerushalayim, under the Zionist auspices, They are against anyone going to the army, they are against anyone voting in elections, they are against any secular studies.
In 2006, during a campaign against voting in elections, the Eida outrageously accused the Zionists of having played a role in the Holocaust, without mentioning that the Nazis murdered Zionists in the same gas chambers with Satmar chassidim. The Eida took this ridiculous assertion straight out of Arab anti-Semitic handbooks.
They officially do not take any funds from the government, though they have been caught on many occasions funnelling the "contaminated" Zionist funds thru other schools, by illegally registering their children in those other schools and then claiming that their "moisdois do not take Zionist funds"
They exist by schnorring from poor people all over the world and from their hashgacha business.
Speaking of the Hashgacha business, in 2019, Chief Rabbi Yitzchok Yosef said explicitly that the "hechsher of the Eida Hachreidis is the lowest quality of all the hechshers regarding meat."The Holminier Rebbe said years ago that Eida Hachreidis Hechsheirim are not reliable.
This past monday, I attended a chassidishe wedding in Ashdod and on the door was a huge notice "this establishment does not use any meats under the Hashgacha of the Eida Hachreidis."The place was full of Shreimlichs, Spodiks and everyone was eating like it was their "Last Supper"
What is interesting is that no one in the Eida has ever read any of Walder's books .....
THANKS SO MUCH,, IT MEANS THE WORLD TO US IN THESE DIFFICULT TIME
Looks like they happened to make the right decision...
