Rabbanim Prohibiting 9 year-old Girls from Riding Bikes ..."It's not Tzneesdik"

Loosely translated:

CAUTION Of A NEW TREND [in a negative way]

Lately young girls from good families, are riding bikes on the street next to Bitan Street. 

In one of my classes my young students (girls) who are 9 years old, asked if there is any halachic issues with this new trend.

I then consulted with many rabbanim from various different sects, and all answered in the same way.... that it is prohibited and there isn't anyone  who would permit this. 

Educating girls about tzneesis starts at a very young age, I am therefore turning to the parents so they should look out for this.

Now, this newspaper is circulating in a neighbourhood that had to spend hundreds thousands of shekels to install cameras, because of pedophiles  preying on young innocent girls. Yet D.A. is warning parents, not to warn their children to be cautious of these animals, no, he is warning parents to watch out for 9 year-old girls riding bikes!
