Isn't it ironic that this group of women visits the site of the Temple carrying a Torah in which it is written, "Three times a year shall all your MALE folk appear before Hashem, your God at the place that He shall choose (referring to the Temple site).".
The Torah scroll itself, not the rabbinical interpretation, explicitly prohibits behavior that Reform Judaism proudly endorses.
Regardless of one's own beliefs, to carry the scroll in total defiance of its content is to mock the religion for which our ancestors willingly gave their lives. I am personally offended and wounded by this sacrilege.
