A Tennessee man is accused of intentionally setting fire to a room in his grandmother’s home with two dogs inside, according to a report.
Dustin Matthew Sneed, 30, was booked on arson charges in East Ridge last week — sporting a bizarre look in his mugshot with pink eye shadow and a bedazzled mohawk, news station WTVC reported.
The dogs were unharmed in the May 5 blaze, but a computer and several other personal items belonging to Sneed’s grandmother were destroyed, police said.
His grandmother also told officers there was a bottle of vodka missing from home after the fire that only he knew about, the outlet reported.
Officers were later called to a nearby diner where patrons said Sneed had been inside and had dropped a bottle of alcohol, the report said. He then left, poured the alcohol on the sidewalk outside and tossed the bottle to the ground.
The officers recovered the bottle which matched the one that was taken from his grandmother’s home, according to WTVC.
He was arrested and charged with arson, aggravated cruelty to animals and other offenses stemming from the incident, the outlet reported.
