Today’s New York Times, ran a front page article on Egypt and the Nile River and featured a map of the Middle East and Africa that named every country except one – the State of Israel. A blank spot was left in the area that should have had the name “Israel” on it.
Egypt, Libya, Saudi Arabia, Ethiopia and the Sudan are all named. Israel, which received its independence in 1948 was left out.
The New York Times has a habit of distorting its reporting about Israel,

The article dealt with a new dam that threatens the Nile River.
