The often heard question of "what will it take for Jews to leave the Diaspora?" has been debated and discussed for decades.
Now it appears the question is being answered as the Jew hating violence continues to escalate.
Dr. Sam Minskoff, a member of the Aliyah Team at Arutz Sheva, discusses the factors that can induce Jews to leave the Diaspora, or as someone who writes in put so brilliantly; the "exilic graveyard".
Dr. Minskoff talks about the exile from within and the Jerusalem air being the best treatment of that age old malady.

Jews are the smartest and most capable and most resilient, and so it stands to reason that if Jews make a meidna it will be very successful and will become a powerful country that the world reckons with. We see this happening. It's amazing how quickly this is happening and all while being surrounded by arch enemies who try to destroy it, and while the world is so full of antisemitism. But lately it seems the world's attitude is starting to become like 'If you can't beat 'em...'. That's all wonderful indeed.
ReplyDeleteBut...
There is an emuna issue. When they proclaim 'Matzada lo yipol od' it feels like they really think that kochi ve'otzem yadi. Like when the people said that The titanic is unsinkable. That's not to deny the strength of the Israeli army like the strength of The Titanic.
The leaders of the Israeli government aren't giving Hashem the credit of all of their successes, and they don't have the proper respect for The Torah and those who are dedicated to it's study. They totally don't think that kiyum haTorah vehamitzvos is the thing that gives them the zechus to survive and to thrive. The charedim when they are in a government building or when they deal with the police or other government workers, get the very strong feeling that they are looked at as idiots. In that sense they are in exile in their own home.
The fact is that Jews' successes are because of whee we come from, our ancestors Torah Jews. They disrespect those medieval primitive ancestors. It's hard to swallow the feeling of disrespect for Hashem, The Torah, and the meticulously Torah abiding Jews.

Hey Tzaddik....
So you are saying that this has nothing to do with Hashem?
It's because Jews are smart?
So what makes you different then the leaders of the Israeli government....????
They say 'Matzada lo yipol od' it feels like they really think that kochi ve'otzem yadi. "
And you say ....
"Jews are the smartest and most capable and most resilient, and so it stands to reason that if Jews make a meidna it will be very successful and will become a powerful country that the world reckons with. "
So you are bigger apikoras then them ....
Tzaddik....
Those "apikorsim" have a bigger zchus than you in your comfortable couch in Smuthz Le'aaretz ..
At least they built a country that has the largest amount of Jews learning Torah since we accepted the Torah at Har Sinai ... the apirkorsim gave to Totrah institutions last year alone $250 million .......
So they say "Kochi Voetzem yadi..... so
The Satmar Rebbe doesn't say that in your shmutz Le'aaretz? ...don't they say that R' Yoel Built A Town called Kiryas Yoel .... do they mention G-d ??
Very soon your goyishe neighbors will "proclaim Kochi Votzem Yodi" and kick you the hell out of the US
Where will you run? You fool...
You will run like a poisoned mouse with your shratzim to the Zionist entity that you say was built by "smart Jews"
First of all lower the tone. Did I insult you? If the only way you think you can prevail in the conversation is by insulting and calling someone who challenges you a fool and speaking down to them it doesn't show a whole lot of confidence in your actual position. If this can't be a forum for mature conversation than I will not bother. I a not a fool as it happens to be. I happen to be a smart person by the standards of most people who know me. So let me know whether can we have the conversation or not?

ReplyDeleteWhat Chutzpah? What arrogance?
How naive are you????? How backward are you?
When was the last time you visited the Kotel? Kever Rachel? Mearas Ha'machpeilah?
How many tears were spilled at these places that the Zionists captured?
How many Tefilos did Hashem answer to Jews that visited these places?
Places that Zionists soldiers captured.... places that Jewish children, chilonim gave their very lives for.....
How do you even live with yourself ...judging the founders of the greatest miracle ever...
the miracle of the ingathering of the Jewish people? The revival of a language (I know you will parrot the Yeshivisha gibberesh that Hebrew is not holy) Maybe holy or not but nevertheless a language spoken by 95% of the Jews living in Israel...
Which country in the entire history of the world is speaking a language only 70 years old?
So are you telling us it's because "Jews are smart?"
This has nothing to do with Hashem? You don't think that Hashem had anything to do with this? You think that Hashem did not plan this?? How blind are you ???
I know you will bring us what previous gedoilim said... spare us.....
Previous gedoilim would never have foreseen this miracle ... and they didn't
Yes... we need work... yes we are not perfect...
but to disparage people even if they didn't mean it Leshem Shmayim...is sick...very sick
and you are a product of people that taught you to be "kafu toivah"
People who have hakoras hatoiv .. to the RBS"O that they can feel close to Him because of the holy places that the Zionists captured and gave their lives for ... are people who love G-D and love His children
Shame on you
Teichtal
