On Sunday afternoon 12 Charedim from the Peleg faction, who are still under police custody since the previous round of protests, were sentenced to between 40-90 days in prison.
The military court that held the hearing, said most of them received sentences of varying lengths within that time-frame. The terms are to be carried out inside military prisons. Three of the Peleg received the full 90-day sentences. One received 80 days, another 65, two others 60, one 55, and the remaining three received 45 days. Only one was released without extended sentencing.
Due to the perceived severity of the punishments and the continued arrests of draft dodgers, the Peleg group has announced that they will be resuming their protests across the streets of Israel in an effort to show their disdain for the enlistment commands and the arrests of their fellow Peleg faction members.
The group issued a statement that announced that protests will resume at 7:00 p.m. in the following locations.
Jerusalem – The street corners of Yafo and Sarei Yisrael
Bnei Brak – Street corners of Jabotinsky and Rabbi Akiva
Modi’in Illit – Kfar Ruth intersection
Beit Shemesh – Yehuda Hanassi St.
And similarly in Ashdod, Elad, Tzefat, and various locations in Israel’s south according to the determination of the local Askonim.
untill and unless the head snake (the one Harav Kanievsky called the "ZAKEN MAMRE) is arrested and put on trial for seditious high treason and given a long prison sentence, this nonsense will continue, time to take off the silk gloves when dealing with these traitorous ignorant savages
ReplyDeleteFRUM BUT NORMAL
FRUM BUT NORMAL? Who you? I'd rather be on the side of those who you consider snakes and not normal
DeleteI'm wondering if the Israeli government deep down are happy with these protests. It means that there is a very good chance they will,be able to make a coalition without the frum parties when elections are held, and they will be able to pass laws which they can't now. So is plag falling for it by making Israelis against frum Yidden?
ReplyDeleteWow as if till now the israelis are not against Jews
DeleteWow as if the ultra chareidis are not against the israelis
ReplyDeleteTheese brain damaged protesters should be lobotimized
ReplyDelete1:18 AM---Brain damaged idiot that you are the ones who hate are the ones who should be excommunicated from the jewish people and those are who are doing nothng but create anarchy and chaos in the country
ReplyDeleteIf I can't stop the Lashon Hara, etc. then I must leave. Anyone who wants to contact me can do so on my blog achsameach.blogspot.com or at my email, aishkodesh611@gmail.com.
ReplyDeleteKol Tuv my precious brethren and may you all have much Beracha V'Hatzlacha in your lives!
Sincerely,
Aish Kodesh/Refoel Berel
Finally the jerk is leaving
DeleteGo demonstrate in Jerusalem for the filthy Aurbach clan
Check out this idiot's blogspot this guy is truly deranged.
DeleteI wish him a speedy recovery from his mental illness if that is even possible
Dear Aish Kodesh,
ReplyDeleteEven though you cannot stop the Loshon Hora and Sinas Yisroel that runs rampant on this blog you still have a responsibility to try to mitigate it as best as you can. Your achsomeach blogspot is a sacred place, full of divrei Torah and Kosher hashokofoh, but the misstatements of the anti-chareidi ranters must be challenged head-on, albeit in a respectful and logical manner as befits a true ben Torah.
I would argue for example, although it appears on the surface (and that I agree with in the final analysis) that some of Rabbi Auerbach's followers are behaving in a thuggish and completely unacceptable fashion, the government of Israel isn't coming to this fight with totaly clean hands either.
Think for a moment, these charadei miscreants were tried and sentenced in a military court, despite the fact that they are unquestionably civilians and entitled as non-military Israeli citizens to face their accusers in a civil court with benefit of approprate counsel, not in a court martial proceedings.
The writ of Habeas corpus is a fundemnental feature of a modern democratic state. the suspension of that writ is evidence of the imposition of martial law, which is more appropriate for a failed African state than for a nation that boasts its superiority. Remember that the hippies who violently opposed the the actions of the United States in the war in Vietnam, were brought to trial in a federal court of justice, not before a military tribunal.
There is far, far more to be said about the current dispute in Israel, but it should be expressed in a respectful, measured tone, which is nearly impossible in the current environmemt of this blog.
DIN, please, please dial back the vituperous rhetoric.
1:30 PM---To me you are tottaly out of touch with reality, you seem to live in a fantasy land where everything is wanderfull you cannot be more wrong get real and wake up to reality

ReplyDeleteThe Israeli system of government is based on parliamentary democracy.Having said that ... these Torah terrorists are actually arrested not by the military but in a civilian court, once they find that they are "Draft Dodgers' they are turned over to military courts. All these leidegeirs have to do is register for the draft and they can sit in learn forever without ever serving in the army ...
I know that because I have a child in an Israeli Kollel who made aliyah and he doesn't have to serve.....
The law of the land is that if you are a "draft dodger" meaning you refuse to register than you face the consequences ...
These parasites, do not recognize the Israeli court system be it a military court or a civilian court .... so it really makes no difference to them by whom they are being tried ....
Now for the "environment of this blog" ...if you know anything about my blog...I usually wait awhile before I comment ....because you may be surprised but I am a Shomer Torah Umitzvois and when it hurts ... I yell ...like the Briskers put it ... I am in touch on how the average frum person thinks because I get hundreds and sometime thousands emails on one single day supporting me .... the people are all shomrei Torah Umitvois and who have children in Yeshivois in kollim etc.... they are fed up with whats going on in the frum world and their only voice is this blog ....we are sick of being "respectful" we are sick of being ignored ... and ill let you in on a secret ..... we are the "Silent Majority" .... and if this is not fixed soon meaning if our Gedoilim will continue to be surrounded by crooked "askanim" that are destroying klall yisroel and do nothing .... if they are going to focus on narishkeiting like being railroaded by the Askanim that want "asifas" then we will be going fast into the abyss .... my blog is being read by in large by people that think like me and I'm judging this by e-mails ... so .... people (Shomrei Torah) are fed up with this anti-Zionist agendas .... and want me to make public that they are not alone...that there others who think like them ...... I am not pro State but now that we have it we must embrace it with love ... if you don't like the policies then be mekareiv them ... you will get nowhere screaming at people who are sacrificing their children for the safety of the big beards .... nope!
As far as Aish Kodesh is concerned ... I love that guy but he is very naive and his way of thinking is enabling those Frum terrorists .....believe you me if the terrorists would know that we frummies dont back them ...it would immediately stop .... the Aish Kodeshs" of this world are not bring more peace but bringing more violence by capitulating to these Jewish Terrorists.I have been on his blog and have never seen one word of mussar to these fake Jews ....
Run the rats over.
ReplyDeleteNothing that a good pair of tyre tracks down the boiychs of these chazerai wouldn't cure.
To cyrano: Thank you for your comment. I... think I might stay for a bit. It's possibly my responsibility, as you said.
ReplyDeleteTo DIN: I merely do not speak Lashon Hara about them on here! That is not how to give Mussar. If I came across one, I might just... But believe me, when there are, for example, Anti-Zionists insulting Zionists on here, I usually give them a Dvar Mussar or two. You should see that.
My way of thinking is surely not as good as it should be, but it certainly does NOT back any of the "Frum nonsense". I hardly understand where you're coming from with that...
Indeed, if I were in Eretz Yisroel right now, I would likely try to pull apart these protests! I want to! I just am not there at the moment, and surely for no Anti-Zionist reason...
Kol Tuv everyone!
Just leave you naive idiot
DeleteIt's become the norm for religious and orthodox, who keep Sabbath, eat kosher, do mitsvot, etc. to lie and fabricate about the State of Israel.Ben Gurion and his cabinet made an agreement about yeshivot and the draft and there never was a problem until recently. So for all the anti-Zionists haters, know that B. Gurion could have ignored the religious but chose to respect them. The Haredi population grew , and a number of rabbis, afraid to lose their base, supporters, $$ and hang-oners developed well crafted lies and distortions against the State to protect their own turfs. Read Rabbi Dov Lipman's latest response to the extremist Hareidi lies. So Cyrano, you mixed crap into your cream by writing something about Habeas Corpus and hippies. You don't complain about religious, supposedly Torah students acting in a non-Torah way but like wild animals. Comparison to hippies is absurd. They don't need to go to court. All they need is to register and if not the army, then do community service, which they also refuse to do. So secular and other religious soldiers put their lives on the line, and often give their lives to protect them. Frankly, your type of defense is sickening.
ReplyDeleteIt's simple, uncomplicated and easy to understand. You're already lying when you write "some" of Auerbach's followers, when even my 6 month daughter in diapers knows it's most if not all.
This draft rebellion is a shameless disgusting movement by itself, and more so when influencing the minds of young students with absolute
hateful lies.Cyrano, you're an anti-Zionist who really hates the State, so why not admit it. Actually, you have Cyrano, with the long lying nose.
but it should be expressed in a respectful, measured tone,____________________________
ReplyDeleteAssumed that means Auerbach's thugs also, since after all they're the bnai Torah who should set examples for us sushi fressers and anonymous blogsters. While those bums who lack hakarat hatov, rule by mob, all while fellow Jews are terrorized daily by shooting , rammings and stabbings, we on the other hand should type measures responses .What a lecture.
to Cyrano%%%%%5,
ReplyDeleteno need for Habeas corpus. All mishtara have to do is use more force, more water cannons, tear gas, and more whips to clear the way for blocked ambulances and busses, hefty fines for property damages, more batons to restore law and order, and then you all the time to discuss Habeas corpus in respectful , measured tones.
