They expect the Zhlubs to work their tails off to hand them money so that they can hang out in Bais Medrish all day! They do not want them to contribute to society!
This is the work of the Litvishe Roshei Yeshiva who feel threatened that they will lose the "kavod Ha'Torah" if 50,000 talmidim don't stand up for them when they walk in to give a shiur!
This learning full time business till you drop dead, is basically a new phenomenon in Jewish History....
In Europe there were a couple of people in town that learned full time and were supported by the town... but now the holy litvacks started a new minhag of everyone not working, ever!
This is causing Mosdos Ha'Torah to steal, because there is no way to support this crazy amount of guys, learning!
So the editor of the Israeli Yated, a hebrew rag written in hebrew, goes on a maniacal rant about a Yeshiva, that G-D Forbid, teaches a trade with limud Ha'Torah! Though the Mishna requires this, that won't convince the litvacks that know better then the Tanaim of the Mishna!
Yeshivat Chachmei Lev, located in the Kiryat Yovel neighborhood of Yerushalayim, is a school for chareidi young men who combine limud Torah and secular studies towards earning a matriculation high school diploma. The school’s existence continues its uphill battle, as it comes under fire by the chareidi community.
The latest attack comes in the Tuesday 29 Sivan edition of Yated Neeman as editor Rav Yisrael Friedman attacks the school. Friedman writes that the Jerusalem Municipality has approved an allocation for the school and therefore, the little battle is over, albeit with a loss, and the large battle remains.
Friedman speaks of the battle of those who wish to pull Am Yisrael away from limud Torah, to permit them to integrate into the secular world. He speaks of enticing programs to attract bnei torah by “speaking of the window of opportunity” and “acting for the good of the chareidi tzibur”.
In short, Friedman uses Yated to dedicate a lengthy scathingly worked editorial, without offering a positive note as to the merit of the school and the need for such schools amid an awareness there are chareidi youths who do not see their future in a beis medrash fulltime yet they remain committed to their chareidi way of life.
Can't figure out whos crazier the litvish or chasidm
ReplyDeleteEveryone is different. A brilliant young man who can one day be a great Posek should continue on to Kollel where he can develop his skills. A kind hearted person who loves to teach and loves torah should go into Chinuch. And another should go into computers and give a Daf Yomi shuir. Another should be a postal worker and be Koviya Itim Latorah while supporting his family. We see that when everybody goes into Chinuch regardless of personality what a disaster can come from such wholesale chinuch selection. The guy was a burn out as a bochur, a burn out in Kollel and G-d forbid a burn out as a Rebbe. He should have gone into postal work. We would not trust a 50,000$ watch to our local jeweler. This watch needs a specialist. Why would be trust our kids to someone just because his ROSH YEHIVA said he should go into Chinuch. Just because? We need quality Rebeyim who love Torah and can cater to every child properly. NOT BURN OUTS WHO CAN"T GET A BETTER JOB, or even want something better. Wholesale chinuch. People forget that the yeshiva in Lublin taught a trade. Don't tell anyone, it's a secret, or perhaps we should rewrite history. Because they understood the potential of everyone is different. Also, they needed Bala Batim to support the Yeshiva one day. Its only wise and healthy for all.
ReplyDeleteHave you ever stopped to consider the root source of the problem?
ReplyDeleteIt's not the illiterate rabbeim fools that propagate this mental incontinece, although they are the ones who institutionalize it. Is there something inherently askew in the Torah itself that motivates these crazies. Would a rational God infect his holy nation to commit societal suicide?
Think about it !

ReplyDeleteAs I pointed out in my post, that the Torah itself encourages work!
And think about it ....most of the Taryag mitzvos have to do with working in the field, as for example ...Peah, Leket, Shikcha, Massar, Orlah, etc
In fact all the 39 Melachos on Shabbos is about refraining from work on only one day per week...
This is something totally new ... and to say that there is "something askew in Torah itself" makes no sense, since the Torah talks almost only about work ...
it was only in the midbar that the Jews didn't work and that's why the meraglim didn't want to go to Eretz Yisroel...they knew once they would be in Eretz Yisroel they would need to work again!
%Abe, G-D gave us freedom of choice along with Torah, so if people make choices against it, it's not His fault. G-D gets an unfair share of blame for people's misjudgments and if he doesn't fix it right away He gets blamed. Just like many blame parents, teachers, friends for their lousy decisions, but never themselves.
ReplyDeleteHey you nasty bum
ReplyDeleteYou're busy with the litvish chasiddim gur Satmar and who not, what's about you go and get a trade and leave klal Yisroel alone! Your disgusting hate is 100% equal to the Nazis the only difference is that you're a first class idiot
You say get a trade. I'll trade my house in Kew Gardens with any home of any of them in Israel who don't like it there, even in Meah shearim, I'm ready to trade today.
ReplyDeleteBig talker why don't you so it? Talking is cheap, i wouldn't go there no matter how much you offer, i actually ran away from that most dangerous place in the world and their atheistic corrupted sadistic regime
Delete@Anonymous "Hey you nasty bum". Can you possibly say that having a trade to support one's family is against the Torah? Then our very grandfathers who pushed pushcarts a whole day and worked as tailors or store keeps were Treif? These people worked and nobody from the previous generation ever called them second class.Learning a whole day is for the exceptionally gifted so that they can develop into POSKIM. Nobody in the previous generations would ever write such an article. Why is YETED so afraid? Are you mad or just there to drink the coolaid? Working to support ones family and provide a nice living for one's wife and family is a Mitzvah. Just read the KETUBA. Our grandfathers did it, so why is it forbidden now? Support your family with Torah learning. Live a normal life. Be a man, not a boy.
ReplyDeleteHey you nasty illiterate ignorant bum
DeleteWhen and where did i say that? And i repeat go get your depressed life together and stop attacking every frum Jew on whom you can't find even one positive word and at the same time on Poshei Yisroelim you never saw anything bad, and if you forgot I'll say it again, Hitler YM"S would of been more successful having you as an advisor you rasha ben rasha
