Satmar & Pupa, a new chassidus, (Pupa were never chassidim), are now upset at the ladies, because of a new trend that the ladies adopted ... wearing head scarfs and bandannas!
The Rebbes who are obsessed with women, are afraid that they will lose control of the women if the women chas ve'sholom adopt this new style and they are particularly frightened that this trend will cause the women to stop shaving their heads ....; women growing hair may very well destroy chassidus!???
They believe that if women grow hair and look pretty instead of shaving their heads and look ugly, that would kill the Mesorah, a Mesorah that is only about 150 years old...
The fact that there is a Mesorah of women having hair which goes back thousands of years, means nothing. Like Christians they started their own Torah!
The truth is that they have already destroyed the entire premise of the Chassidus of the Baal Shem that advocated inclusion and accepting all Jews!
Satmar founder R' Yoel Teitelbaum when asked about this, said "nishtakach Chassidus Ha'Baal Shem" that the original ideas of chassidus of the Baal Shem has 'been forgotten".
This makes absolutely no sense, since the whole idea of chassidim is only about 270 years old ...
and nothing has been forgotten, just ask any Chabad guy ....
but since Satmar won't have anything to do with inclusion, the Rebbe came up with this brilliant idea...to just say "Nishtakach" it was forgotten and so he could start his own idea of chassidus which includes calling Jews that don't agree with his ideas .... "apikorsim and meenim" .... heretics!
This "new" chassidus also has adopted the idea of hating other Jews, like Belz, Klauzinberg, Skver, Ger, Chabad and of course, Zionists!
Satmar was also never a chadidus, it was always a kehilah
ReplyDeleteThe satmerers are a bunch of mentally deranged misfits.
ReplyDeleteWhy do we care what Satmar or Pupa do or decree? For years Satmar and others will come up with another chumara to 'safeguard' the fold from outside influences. Mainstream Jews follow the Shulchan Aruch as their guide. Chumras are dangerous because people begin to believe that it's what Jews are required to do as Din, and forget it's source. A whole new Shulchan Aruch is created. It's just a minhag. If they feel that this is necessary, why should we care? It will happen again and again. Soon what is permitted now will be outlawed later. What about some chumras when it comes to business practices? There's an innovation. A chidush, a novel idea. This type of chumra all should abide by. HONESTY IN BUSSINESS FOR ALL JEWS BEYOND THE LETTER OF THE LAW.
ReplyDeleteThey can ban all they like. These rules are slowly discarded by the women themselves, although there may be a tacit acceptance at the beginning of the new demand.
