I don't believe it makes a difference what the story is. It doesn't seem that the husband was hiding from anyone, he could have easily been arrested if necessary in a more private manner. I don't see any reason why children should be emotionally abused by their mother to get revenge on the father. Even if he's supposed to be arrested for some reason.
And what if he put her thru years of hell on earth and she ginally feels her revenge hence the smirk. I think its all wrong because its the kids in the end that will suffer from the publicity!
It seems very improbable that a charedi wife would have her husband arrested in front of her children without very serious cause. Either that or the woman is nuts, but she appears quite far from a mental breakdown. Could be he was beating her or her children. Could be a sexual crime. Could be an ongoing drug problem. Yeah sure. Because of a traffic ticket his wife is busy smirking and coordinating with the police her husbands arrest. At first I was more open minded to hearing the wifes side, but if they have to make up such obvious nonsense it really seems unlikely she is the victimhere.
Did you notice the man sticking around calmly as if waiting to be arrested? To my read there is an entirely different dynamic going on here. The mikvah shmooze is that there is a restraining order against the man from coming within 200 feet of the women. The story goes that the man defiantly violated that order provoking the woman to call the police, which was exactly the man's intention in the first place. to get arrested.
