The truth is a lot funnier than fiction! Who comes up with these ideas?
The last time this "schnorr" Organization, Keren Olam HaTorah did something like this was in Israel addressing thousands of Seminary Girls behind a curtain!!
Women were outraged and Keren Olam HaTorah got a lot of flack, so someone who as a child was probably fascinated with watching fish swim in a bowl, decided without asking advice from his mother, wife or daughter who I assume are females, on how to have these Tzdekei Olam, Gedoilei Hador, address thousands of naive women and get them to pressure their husbands to spend their hard earned money!
What better way than to put them all into an aquarium!!
I don't know what these Holy Gedoilim who I presume are married to females, thought about this degrading spectacle which turned out to be a huge Chillul Hashem! The entire world is mocking the Gedoilim bringing the worst out of decent people, who normally have the highest respect for Talmedei Chachamim!
If they don't want to look at women they could have easily have spoken on video!
This Keren Olam HaTorah is basically raising hundreds of millions of dollars around the world to sustain the willingly unemployed kollel community in Israel which is dependent on billions of dollars in government funding, because they refuse to work and share in the tremendous burden of securing the holy Land!
They will probably keep flying these old men in private Jets every month because they need to close the huge gap that the Zionists provided which is close to a Billion Shekels or if you wish $ 315 Million Dollars !
They are running out of men who want to be fleeced every other month so Keren Olam Ha Torah decided to go after the ladies but not before throwing them all into Goldfish Bowls! These schnorring campaigns will obviously not be sustainable in the long run, especially during war times!
But my question is: I met Real Gedoilim in my lifetime, and they all spoke to woman directly, yes there were a few who didn't but most of the Torah leaders all spoke to women directly, in fact I was at Lakewood dinners during the lifetime of Harav Shneur Kotler z"l and the dinner had mixed seating!
How many of those women minded it? If none did, why do you?

Nah, DL is much more machmir than Charedi! That's why they wear those weird colorful bandanas and shmatte clothing, since a sheitel and normal clothing (i.e. actually looking like a normal tzniusdig woman) poses shemiras einayim issues..In any case, I think you meant MO, not DL. Big difference, and they definitely need improvement in that area.

Yeshiva day schools are having a tuition crisis and it will get worse. The rich aren’t and won’t be able to fund the elementary schools because their money is going to these yeshivos and kollelim
