Rabbi Landau wondering why Arabs don’t get together and take Israel as an another Arab state

Last time he said something outrageous like this, everyone was told that it was taken out of context, well now we hear the entire story and that is exactly what he said!

There no way that Rav Landau knows what's going on, he is totally disconnected and removed from the rest of Klall Yisrael. But that doesn't stop Ass'konim from listening to Rav Landau's rants and then broadcasting this!

How does any thinking person say that it would be better to live under a Muslim flag!

This outrageous statement of Rav Landau is all over the media now, and mocking him! This will benefit the New Charedie party as reasonable people are totally fed up!

The statement heard this evening from the leader of the Lithuanian public is a very harsh and painful statement.

Especially in a week like this, when almost every secular or religious-nationalist person knows a family member, friend, neighbor, or acquaintance who fell in the war. After three years in which families and children spent countless nights alone at home, while Dad was on reserve duty, after hundreds of reserve duty days, injuries, bereavement, and countless other battles that people fought for the people and the state.

Our rabbis educated us to respect scholars, and therefore I will not write a word here about the rabbi himself.

But we do need to talk about the true great madness.

An overwhelming majority of the state-appointed rabbis elected today in the State of Israel are students of Haredi yeshivas.

Read that sentence again.

The State of Israel appoints rabbis for decades, pays them salaries from the public coffers, and grants them state status, while many of them were educated in a world that does not see the state as the beginning of our redemption's sprouting, does not see the army as a sacred national value, and does not see the state's institutions as something to take responsibility for and be full partners in building.

One can greatly respect the Haredi Torah world.

One can learn a great deal from it.

But there is an enormous difference between respecting it and repeatedly handing over the state rabbinate of the State of Israel to it.

This is simply absurd.

Religious Zionism built the state, fought for it, buries its sons for it, serves in all its institutions, and in the end repeatedly allows others to shape the state's spiritual face.

This is not a small failure.

This is an abandonment of one of the most important assets of the State of Israel for generations.

Now watch Arabs blowing up an ambulance with 18 people inside, and Rav Landau says that the Army is there to serve their own interests ?????

  1. There is a great deal of historical ignorance here regarding the safety of the Jews under Arab/Muslim rule.

  2. Is there a recording of his entire speech because I certainly won’t rely on excerpts with the typical wild hyperbole & distortions from DIN or commentary of a partisan Modern Ortho with a weird name like Schnerb. (I once knew a Schnerb who was bezunder weird regardless of what his name was)

I knew you would come out like a roach when the lights turn on and ask this question!
All the sites, Bachadrei and Kikar have it in total!
No one is denying it but you are in shock that your Teira Leader is talking nonsense, so you want to know "the context"
In what possible scenario is this statement not crazy?
These "Teira Leaders" are leading you all into the abyss !

    2. Rina Shnerb is the name of a young girl murdered by a bomb while visiting a spring a few years ago. Not so damn funny now, is it?

  3. I never make comments but I am outraged by this huge Chillul Hashem by a Gadol Hador and have to be moiche. If he read about anything on what happened in 1929 and on October 7, how can any sane person say that he would live with the Arabs? This narrative of Jews living peacefully with Arabs before the State was established does not reconcile with the facts. One just has to Google and see atrocity after atrocity, pogrom after pogrom. We are not going to win over the tziyonim with fabrications and lies. This has to stop ASAP

    1. Maybe watch the whole video first before commenting. He acknowledged today wouldn't be better under Arabs (just look at October 7th); he was saying we would have been better off if the Zionists wouldn't have established a state. He said the Arabs don't like us but as long as you show them respect, they more or less leave you alone. The Zionist state caused Arabs to become more hostile to Jews. Which part of that isn't true, and which part are you being Moche on the Gadol Hador about (as if you're a Bar Plugta but anyway...)?

      "He acknowledged?"
He has no clue what's going on.
Where does he get his info from?
Haaretz? Maariv? Times of Israel? Internet?
He gets it from a bunch of disturbed Yeshivish hoodlums!
Rav Teichtal hy"d states that Charedim had their chance to partner with the Zionists, but they refused, and because of that, they have no one to blame but themselves.
Today's Charedim do not build; they dismantle and destroy!

Your statement "He said the Arabs don't like us but as long as you show them respect, they more or less leave you alone. The Zionist state caused Arabs to become more hostile to Jews. "
does not reconcile with historical facts!
The facts that Arabs are not only hostile to others but also to Arabs too. Arabs kill each other!
Google all pogroms against Jews since its founding and you will learn that Arabs living peacefully with Jews is a myth! Its a lie!

  4. Rav Landau brings an example from Rav Zonnenfeld, who supposedly said that Jews lived well with the Arabs.
Rav Zonnenfeld lived 59 years in Eretz Yisrael from the year 1873 -1932
In Israel during this period 85 were murdered in pogroms that is not counting pogroms in Yemen, Iraq, Syria and Libya where hundreds of Jews were brutally murdered.

    1. Wow! In 59 years (1873-1932) there were 85 Jews murdered in pogroms and hundreds more in Yemen, Iraq, Syria, and Libya.
In 59 years from 1948 to 2007, there were THOUSANDS of Jews murdered in Israel, besides for others killed in Arab countries.
So tell me, under whose rule were we better off? Arab or Zionist?
Rabboisai, DIN just shot himself in the foot, and proved that what Rav Landau said was 100% correct! Ha!!

      During those 59 years ...
In 1891 — Moskcow Expelled 20,000 Jews many died from exposure and starvation.
      1903 — Kishinev Pogrom
One of the most infamous pogroms in history.
49 Jews murdered, hundreds wounded, widespread rape and destruction.

      1905 — Odessa Pogrom
300+ Jews murdered in three days.

1905–1906 — Second Wave of Russian Pogroms
Hundreds of towns attacked; thousands killed across the empire.

1911 — Beilis Blood Libel (Kiev)
A modern blood libel trial; global antisemitic agitation.
      1914–1918 — World War I
Mass expulsions of Jews by Russian military; tens of thousands die from starvation, disease, and violence.

1917–1921 — Russian Civil War Pogroms
The largest pre‑Holocaust mass killing of Jews.
Carried out by Ukrainian nationalists, White Army, local militias.
      50,000–100,000 Jews murdered.

This was the single worst Jewish catastrophe between 1492 and 1939.
      And lets not forget
During his 59 years in Eretz Yisrael (1873–1932), world Jewry suffered:

      Multiple waves of pogroms
      Blood libels
      Mass expulsions
      The Kishinev and Odessa massacres
The catastrophic Ukrainian pogroms (50,000–100,000 murdered)
The 1929 Hebron & Safed massacres
      The rise of Nazi antisemitism
He lived through the greatest Jewish suffering between the Chmielnicki massacres (1648–49)
and the Holocaust where 6 million were murdered!

Sop why don't you move to Syria? Lebanon? Jordan? Egypt?
      Why don't live there???

      You dumbkup
During Rav Zonnenfeld's 59 years only 25,000 Jews lived in Israel so Jewish fatalities were, percentage-wise, enormous, now we have close to 8 million Jews!
      You meshiginer!

  8. He's not suggesting that it would be better today rather than it would've been better to not have the Treife Medinah and let the Umos Haolam be the official government. Instead this gov does all it can for the 3 cardinal sins and isn't even winning wars properly.

With this reasoning, all the Jews would have been better off if we didn't have any Jewish Kings from Shlomo Hamelech and on!
      Listen to this naive child
" let the Umos Haolam be the official government."
This is what these sickos believe that we would be better off with "Umos Haolam be the official government."
Ask the murdered Jews from 1929 that question!

The Umos Haolam actually did rule in Eretz Yisroel over the centuries, it was called the Roman empire, the Mameluks, the Turkish-Ottoman mandate, the British mandate, and that didn't go very well.
Today there are two intricately tangled Umos Haolam trying as hard as they can to rule over the tiny and only Jewish state, telling us where to build and where not to build, lecturing us about "disproportionality", something they woudn't dare doing anywhere else around the globe, and it's called the UN and the EU. No thanks.

About "not winning wars properly", you gotta be kidding... Every major army in the world takes lessons from Tsahal, as no other country has this ability to fight north east west & south like Tsahal does.
Your "3 cardinal sins" thing is pure madness, I won't answer that.

  9. This has gone way to far. Three years ago, the state could have gotten stricter about confirming who was in yeshiva, arrested those who were not and enlisted them into special brigades. Now, everyone is just digging in their heels and we are getting nowhere.

  10. And the part where DL soldierse die because they were taught the wrong type of Torah so it didn't protect them?
This is something I've said before - the Chareidi model is based on 1800 years of European persecution - Jews stay together and loyal because the whole world hated them. They built Chareidism on that assumption - stay Chareidi because the whole world hates you. So what do you do when the surrounding Jewish society in Israel doesn't? You make them hate you by acting like this and then say "You see! They hate us!"
