ReplyDeleteI'm afraid that the upcoming elections will be on who hates the haredim more. Where are their Rabbis? Is it worth it to them to cause such unnecessary sina. What's the matter with them. Don't they see where this leading. Nothing to do with Torah learning and everything to do about exposing their "bochurim" to soldiers that actually do learn Torah and serve at the same time.

Why can't Rav Hirsch answer a question he was asked while he's in the US? If he said they should join the IDF, would you say he can't comment while he's in the US? It's important to remember that the Chareidi leadership relies on hatred to keep their ghetto walls intact.
ReplyDeleteIn Europe and Arabia that was easy enough because the Gentiles actually did really hate them. What's more, most of the Gentiles were savages so their fears were true.
But in Israel it's been a problem. The vast majority of Chilonim don't hate them. They want to live alongside them. And that makes large cracks in the wall. How do you convince your child that he has to stay in the ghetto because it's so dangerous outside when a look out the window proves it otherwise?
You create a self-fulfilling prophecy. You act horrible, ungrateful, insulting even. You keep it up until the chilonim start to hate you because they're sick of your parasitical antics and then declare "You see! They hate us! They want to destroy us! We told you so!"
And given the seeming stupidity of the Chareidi community, no one raises his hand and asks "But haven't we been provoking them this whole time?"
Mr. Low IQ, why have so many secular Israelis become Baalei Teshuva (Charedi ones to boot) in Israel over the last several years if they are so turned off by the "parasites" and "haters"?
