    1. So are you saying that this is really an "aveirah tantz?" Because everyone else is staring at her!
So if it's prohibited, why isn't it prohibited for everyone?
So is he a greater Tzaddik than Rav Shmuel bar Rav Yitzchok in Ketubot 17a that not only danced in front of the kalla but praised how she looked !

    2. I'm actually surprised that women are even allowed in the room.

    3. I'm sure you saw the end of the gemara where it says explicitly it is forbidden to look at a kallah

So we should totally discard the beginning of this story?
The why was it put in the gemarra?
In fact we all sing these very words in the here and now

The Tur Shulchan Aruch paskens like Bais Hillel that you can look at the Kallah and sing that she is pretty!

This Tur that you quote is not practiced by the biggest Gedoilei Hador! They all stare at the Kallah. Have you been living under a rock?

    9. How is this even possible??
You can look at her jewlry on her chest and you can stare at her hair but cannot look at her face!
Makes no sense and is impossible to do!~

  3. There is obviously some other reason why he is covering his face. If it were for tznius reasons then all the other men there would be doing so too.

  5. I believe there is a chazal that encourages gazing at a kallah

  6. Maybe he's just so ugly and they don't want the Kallah to run away
